Chapter 174: Tyler vs The Blood God Part 1

"You are foolish. Even after seeing me consume their blood, you don’t run away. Do you even understand me?"

The Blood God laughed hoarsely, then his body suddenly flickered.

He appeared in front of Tyler and threw a punch straight into Tyler’s head.

Tyler clapped his hands together and stretched them, forming a light sword in between.

Unlike the previous sword, it wasn’t hollow from the inside. Instead, it was formed by merging light energy and sword energy.

Bang!

The light sword and fist collided, creating a powerful impact. But both felt nothing.

The Blood God narrowed his eyes and increased the power of his fist, trying to break his sword.

Tyler transformed his mana into light energy, channeling it into his sword while also releasing his sword energy.

The light energy gave it a shape, while the sword energy gave it power.

With the two combined, they managed to block the Blood God’s fist for a moment until the edge of the sword began to burn away.

"My Blood is hotter than plasma. How can you compete?"

Tyler rolled his eyes. He wanted to say his light was hot as a sun, but it wasn’t formed from nuclear fusion.

So, he released an intense burst of his Sword Energy, sharpening the edge to the next level.

If he couldn’t use quality to fight him, he would use quantity.

It’s not like he was afraid of running out of mana.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Three red jelly-like blood whips appeared next to Tyler out of nowhere. They clutched his legs and waist, without giving him any chance to react.

Boom!

Tyler, not wanting to be caught like this, released an enormous flame out of his body. It spread out like a tsunami, burning the blood whips.

It turned into thick paste and fell to the ground.

"Tsk! You are really annoying. Let’s see how you block this!"

The Blood God retreated immediately and raised both of his hands, forming a large ball of blood above his palm.

The blood orb formed a spinning disk of blood as he launched it towards Tyler.

Although Tyler didn’t know how powerful this was, he could sense a great deal of True Mana in that attack.

If it was launched, he wouldn’t be able to block it without consuming a lot of his mana.

Tyler used his light transformation, and his body flew towards the sky.

Boom!

The blood orb collided with where he stood before and released an enormous explosion.

The heat and shockwave traveled hundreds of kilometers away as the entire capital shook from the sheer impact.

Tyler watched it from the sky above, and the Blood God also appeared in the sky.

Both looked at each other.

The Blood God showed a pure look of disgust.

"You are really annoying."

He could kill Tyler with rather ease, but that would mean he would need to rely on other laws.

Being a Blood God, if he couldn’t even kill him using the Blood Law, how could he proudly call himself a Blood God?

That’s why he realized that his gravity law wasn’t that useful; he decided not to use it.

But despite failing to cause any damage with the Blood Law, he continuously used it.

"Then, why don’t you return to your dimension? Wouldn’t it be better?"

Tyler asked.

The Blood God narrowed his eyes.

"I have had enough of this. I am going to kill you now."

He raised both of his hands, forming two gigantic cubes using his Earth Law before smashing them towards Tyler.

Seeing this, Tyler understood the power of Law more closely.

He didn’t need to transform his own mana into Law; he could use the energy from the surroundings.

But this would definitely need more understanding and control over Law, something that he lacked.

He sensed something was wrong with these cubes, but he didn’t know what.

He quickly summoned a large number of light swords and thrust them towards those cubes.

The collision created massive explosions, but when the dust died down, those cubes suffered no damage.

’Some kind of protection? No, another law?’

Tyler thought to himself as he conjured another sword, but unlike the others, he channeled more light and sword energy into it.

His body ascended higher as he raised a nearly a hundred-meter-tall light sword and thrust it towards those cubes.

The Blood God moved his finger, and the cube ascended towards the light sword.

Suddenly, a blue glow appeared over the light sword.

Boom!

The Blood God didn’t notice it until the sword collided with the cubes. The sheer sharpness of the Sword Intent tore apart the surface of the cubes.

Seeing this, the Blood God moved his fingers, releasing several kinds of modifications to those cubes.

In an instant, the inner part of the cube launched a spiraling force towards the sword.

Considering that it was a single sword blocking one cube, the other cube struck the sword in its blade.

Crack!

The single collision left a large crack on the sword.

’My sword should be hard enough to bear the impact of True Mana. That thing should be created from Earth Law.’

’I thought another Law was being used, but now I can feel its interior. The energy contained within the cubes is Spiritual Energy.’

’That spiral force was created from the spiritual energy, but considering I don’t know much about Law, I could be wrong.’

’If that’s the case, I need to use it.’

Tyler thought to himself as he raised both of his hands. He closed his eyes and activated the Great Dao of Void Technique.

Upon activating this technique, he used the first stage of the Spatial Disturbance Stage.

Using his spiritual sense, he was able to detect several hundreds of thousands of tiny crossworks of thin lines around him.

He could’ve done this a long time ago, but he didn’t have the Spiritual Sense to delve into the realm of space.

Normally, it would take the Law Creation Realm to touch the Spatial Node. So even sensing the Spatial Node wouldn’t help.

But he had comprehended the Spatial Disturbance Stage while he was only at the Treasured Body Realm.

While this might not be enough to use Spatial Jump since he didn’t have the True Mana to cover his body, he could still control the Spatial Node.

In an instant, Tyler’s spiritual sense locked into the spatial node in the middle of those cubes.

Channeling an enormous amount, almost half of his void mana into the nodes, he pulled those nodes.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Crack! Crack! Crack!

The cubes were instantly pulled into the void.

The moment he pulled the Spatial Node, he didn’t have enough knowledge of Space Law to create a stable overlapping space.

So, his action caused a fracture of the void to appear in that exact place, which pulled the cube into it. The same happened to the other cube.

But Tyler didn’t understand what he just did.

The moment that void appeared, it worked like a black hole, pulling everything into itself.

His light sword also collapsed and got pulled into it.

"Damn it! You bastard, you are not fighting; you are wreaking havoc."

Even the Blood God felt flustered by the arrival of the void.

But he was, after all, a Dimensional God. Using Gravity and Wind Law, he propelled himself away from the void.

On the other hand, Tyler used Hiding in the Void to pull himself into another dimension.

But the ground started shaking. The entire building started flying towards the void.

Thud! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Tyler gritted his teeth, releasing his spiritual sense into the void. Although there was a danger of being swallowed by it, he still had to do this.

He quickly found the node he had pulled and managed to fix it before the void pulled the entire ground into the sky.

The buildings fell to the ground, causing earthquakes and destruction. The cloud of dust rose to the sky.

"Hoo! Hoo! I never thought using the Spatial Node so recklessly would lead to such a disastrous situation."

Tyler was taking a huge risk, trying to fix the spatial node. To do this, he had to come out of the void dimension, which made him vulnerable to the void.

Fortunately, he was able to protect himself and his spiritual sense using the void mana.

Suddenly, a blood spear came from behind and pierced Tyler through the back, coming out from the front.

"Cough!"

Tyler coughed out blood. He felt like one of his kidneys was almost destroyed by that attack.

Protecting his inner organs with his Yin-Yang Mana, he activated both of his flames and burned the blood spear.

"This is your end. You are just a foolish ant with a divine technique."

The Blood God appeared in front of him and sneered.

Even if Tyler was covered and protected by two flames, he simply waved his hand, releasing a massive gust of wind.

It pushed the flames out of his body, leaving him unprotected as the blood flew down his stomach.

"Now, it’s time for you to die!"
