What Do You Mean I Have Nine Wives?

Chapter 168: Rising Threat

  • Next Chapter

In the House of PM;

"Over one million, and he is still not out. Did you give me a fake array, Commander Murky?"

Tiga roared in his Bluetooth earpiece.

"Lower your voice, boy! Do you think I will make a mistake like that?"

Murky’s voice sounded a bit old with a touch of grumpiness to it.

"Then, what’s going on? If it takes so much blood energy to summon our God, how can he still have the blood to improve his strength?"

"You told me this array can only summon our God at the peak Foundation Establishment Realm."

"Are you trying to get me killed after summoning our God?"

Tiga continued shouting, showing rage through his voice.

Murky remained silent for a while. He understood Tiga’s concern.

If Blood God didn’t find a lot of nutrients to improve his strength, he could consider eating Tiga.

Blood God didn’t require taking other people’s blood in normal situations, but he wasn’t descending as an incarnation.

If he did that, not only would Heaven take notice of him, but it would also make it difficult to enter this world again.

That would be a huge problem for the Blood God since devouring blood didn’t improve his strength anymore.

Only by devouring this universe could he improve his strength. But to enter the universe, he had to create a clone of himself.

This clone was supposed to be at the Foundation Establishment Realm.

After thinking for a moment, Murky said.

"Tell your Masters to massacre more of the cities from the other countries. I will tell the other two the same thing."

As for whether there was a problem with the array, he never considered that as an option.

Tiga could doubt him, but he couldn’t doubt the Blood God.

This was the creation of the God. How could it have any fault?

It must be that the blood of those people wasn’t enough to summon his clone.

"Four days have passed since I declared the war. This is the fifth day. If this war continues like this anymore, other countries will take notice of our action."

"So, you better be right about the array, Commander Murky."

Tiga roared.

Murky’s voice didn’t rise; instead, he coldly asked.

"Are you doubting my God, Tiga?"

Tiga froze. He hurriedly knelt to the ground and said.

"I would never doubt our God."

"Then, do your job! Tell your people to actively attack the people of other countries!"

"What if they don’t comply?"

"Then, kill them and use their blood to speed up the summoning process!"

Murky coldly replied before hanging up on Tiga.

Tiga slowly got up, his forehead drenched in sweat.

He got so involved in politics that he almost forgot he would never become a politician after this.

Because he would be known as the traitor to humanity. Of course, it didn’t matter to him, but it was still something he forgot.

That’s why he questioned Murky, his commander.

He took out his phone and called three of his loyal grandmasters. Unlike other Masters, he had made these Grandmasters himself.

They were loyal to him and would do anything for him.

"Tell all the Masters to start attacking the people of those two countries! Since they don’t want to stop the war, we will show them the consequences."

"We will destroy the foundation of that country, killing until nobody lives in those countries."

At first, there was a silent in the other side. But a reply quickly came.

"Okay!"

That was all he needed to say. That was all Tiga needed to hear. After knowing this, he cut off the call and walked out of his room.

He went underground to a large facility where several runes were plastered into the walls.

At the same time, a large amount of blood energy was entering a red crystal that was surrounded by a bunch of different mechanical hands.

"Why is it taking so long?"

Tiga walked towards three people who were wearing here.

These three were the only ones, except for the Prime Minister of the other two countries, to know about this array.

In fact, the reason why the array was placed in his country was solely due to them.

They were the only Array Masters of his country.

Array Masters were rare, and finding the Array Masters who were willing to surrender to the Blood God was even rarer.

Nearly dozens of array masters had already died before these three chose to work under him.

One of the array masters replied.

"Sir, we don’t know what’s going on. The blood energy level reaching the array is exactly enough to open the portal to the Blood God World."

"In fact, it has absorbed more blood energy than that. But for some reason, this energy is not entering the portal."

"We checked everything. We have one assumption: this is not working right now."

Another array master spoke.

"Our universe has a barrier at the end of the universe. This barrier is formed from the life force of the universe itself."

"And that exact life force is connected to all of us. While studying this array, I found that this life force rejects all other kinds of life force."

"This is why the Blood God can’t enter our world."

Hearing that, a look of understanding appeared in Tiga’s eyes.

Despite working under the Blood God for so long, he didn’t even understand why he couldn’t enter the universe.

He only thought the universe had a powerful being capable of stopping him, which he knew as Heaven.

"This array is created to make a hole into that barrier. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, but since we are using the array given to us by the Blood God."

The third array master paused for a moment and continued.

"It must’ve been detected by the universal barrier, which strengthened itself to block this array’s power to create that hole."

"Other than that, I don’t understand what could’ve possibly stopped the progression of the array."

Hearing that, Tiga asked.

"If we get more blood energy, can we finish this?"

"Yes! Just like how the universal barrier is reinforcing itself, we can also increase the strength of our array by using more blood energy."

"But..."

The array master paused.

"What is it?" Tiga frowned and angrily asked.

"The amount of blood energy required could take the lives of millions with no upper limit."

"Humph! I have already contacted the other Grandmasters about this. You don’t need to worry about blood energy."

"Just keep your focus on the array and make sure our God arrives in any condition."

Hearing that, the array masters hurriedly nodded.

Tiga walked around the crystal and core of the array, trying to find any possible fault.

He didn’t know arrays, but if there was an external problem, he would be able to sense it with his Spiritual Sense.

Unfortunately, he was wrong.

At this moment, none of them noticed a small drop of blood rapidly multiplying as it consumed the array’s blood energy.

This blood had a strange aura around it that made it impossible for the normal spiritual sense to feel its presence.

After finding nothing, Tiga walked out of the room and left his house, flying in the air with an artifact controlled by his spiritual sense.

This was also the way Masters could fly, but because their soul hadn’t been tempered to a higher level, they couldn’t maintain this for long.

Of course, there were others for a Grandmaster to fly.

They could simply condense their True Mana into wings and fly.

It was similar to the skill Tyler discovered at the Treasured Body Realm due to the intensity of his mana and his overall control over it.

His mana had taken the solid state while he was in the Treasured Body Realm.

So if he reached the Inner World Formation Realm, Tyler could create an invisible platform below his feet and walk in the air.

Tiga couldn’t attack the other countries himself, but he did want to kill a certain person or even capture him.

That person was none other than the military general who was talking to Tyler.

————————

"Aren’t you finished yet? I just got a message from my informant. Those bastards have started attacking the people themselves."

The military general clenched his fist as he shouted towards the room.

Originally, Tyler wanted to go there himself, but the former general knew he couldn’t waste time on those people.

If he wanted, the former general would go there and kill those masters himself.

He wanted Tyler to take care of the major threat.

Realizing the situation and the urgency, Tyler decided to take another route.

Instead of going around killing them one by one, he would rather invent a new skill and kill them all at once.

That’s right!

Tyler planned to kill nearly a thousand masters at once.

"The situation seems quite bad."

Clack!

The door opened, and two people walked out.

Tyler looked at the former general and said.

"Mr. Clark, have you ever seen a light-speed attack?"
