What Do You Mean I Have Nine Wives?
Chapter 167: The State of the Countries
Buki, a city near the borders of Purple Cloud Country;
Whoosh! Bang!
A large arrow made out of the wind clashed against another arrow made out of lightning. Their clash created an immense force in the middle.
The intense wind tried to cut apart the lightning arrow while the lightning arrow tried to destroy the wind.
Both reached a stalemate, but their collision created a shockwave that destroyed everything within a hundred meters.
But this wasn’t happening at one place in the city.
The entire city was full of Masters fighting each other, destroying large parts of the city.
Several people were dying, the Warriors barely escaping with their lives while the weaker ones died from the impact.
"Father!"
A young girl watched her father shield her little body with his. The flames burned his skin dark as the heat started affecting the young girl.
The tears covered her face as she tightly hugged her father and drew her last breath with him.
Somewhere else, a mother tried to save her son, taking him away from the city, but a large chunk of the building fell over them.
Some were crushed by the building, some were destroyed by the attacks, some couldn’t bear the impact and their body shattered.
The bodies were piling up rapidly while the masters had barely lost a single person.
Whether it was the friend force or the enemy, they didn’t care about the lives of others.
Their only goal was to kill the opponent. As for those who died during the process, their lives were none of their business.
Some would even actively attack anyone they saw just for no reason.
In less than three days, twenty cities were destroyed, the number of deaths racking up to a million.
No one tried to save these people, not a single master.
On the fourth day, six of the masters were assassinated during the battle. Although the city was largely destroyed, some people were saved.
And the ones to save these people were none other than the army of Purple Cloud Country.
At that moment, a small child asked a crucial question to the army member.
"Mister, is our country going to be destroyed?"

Inside Tyler’s room;
A middle-aged man had arrived. He wore a green suit and sat across the table.
"Mike said you can help me stop this war and tell me about the real enemies."
Tyler shook his head.
Seeing this, the middle-aged man frowned.
Tyler noticed his expression and smiled.
"Don’t worry, I can help you solve the real enemy."
"Then, you need to hurry up. In three days, twenty cities had been destroyed, and millions of lives had been lost."
Hearing that, Tyler’s expression darkened.
He knew a lot of people were dying. After all, the Blood Energy was increasing rapidly.
But he didn’t think so many would die.
"Something is wrong, Tyler! If so many people had died, the Blood God would’ve appeared by now."
Xue’s voice rang in his head.
The moment she spoke, Tyler knew their previous strained situation had disappeared.
’I see!’
Tyler looked at the military general and said.
"Masters are the ones causing trouble, right?"
The military general nodded.
"If we do nothing, more and more cities will be destroyed. The Prime Minister no longer cares about anything."
"The people that we swore to protect are dying because of us, and they are not doing anything."
Hearing that, Tyler didn’t look surprised.
"Cultivators are just like that!"
For cultivators, selfishness was ingrained in their bones. Only those who had undergone extensive training could change their behavior.
But even then, a single order made them return to their normal condition.
The military general was surprised by Tyler’s reaction.
’Does he hate cultivators?’
"To be honest with you, general! This is not a problem that can be solved by dealing with the real enemy."
"The cause of the destruction is still the cultivators who have been wreaking havoc everywhere."
"Twenty cities! Even if the Purple Cloud Country has gone mad, the other country cultivators wouldn’t be this crazy."
"They are greedy, vain, and despicable, but they also have brains. If they chose to let those people die, it could only mean one thing."
The military general understood how Tyler viewed the cultivators. It was quite embarrassing to be a cultivator and say that about cultivators.
Of course, he couldn’t care less about that. He was more worried about what Tyler said.
An immediate answer came to his mind, but it was even worse than he thought.
"The real enemies have already infiltrated the highest position of all three countries?"
He couldn’t believe it. If it was just one country, it would’ve been okay.
After all, even he understood the nature of cultivators. For profit, they could betray anyone.
But if all three countries’ PMs were traitors, that could only mean a long and dark conspiracy.
At this moment, the military general no longer had any doubt about Tyler.
If he could figure out this much by himself, it meant he wasn’t an arrogant person.
Although he didn’t know how strong Tyler was, he knew he was able to kill Master with the cultivation of a warrior.
He took a deep breath and said.
"Mr. Shiro, what do you need me to do?"
"First, let me announce something!"
Tyler slowly removed his disguise, revealing his short black hair and black pupils.
He turned towards stunned Kirito and nodded.
"I have been using a disguise. Originally, I didn’t care about the war between your countries."
Hearing that, the military general froze in shock, but he quickly recovered.
"So, you found out about the real mastermind after living in our country for less than a month?"
Tyler nodded.
"My name is Tyler Grant. I am from Red Hogg Country. You can easily find my information after this war."
"The enemy we are gonna face is beyond your comprehension, beyond this world."
"Have you heard about the Spirit Realm?"
The general paused and nodded.
"Anyone who becomes a grandmaster can find the information about the Spirit Realm. Although it does take some time and position."
Tyler nodded. He looked at confused Kirito and explained.
"There are four realms in our universe. Lower Realm, Spirit Realm, Immortal Realm, and Divine Realm."
"This information isn’t very useful for you, but you need to remember it."
He pointed at the general before looking at Kirito.
The general gave him a wry smile. He also understood the situation. Clearly, the Immortal Realm and Divine Realm must be above the Spirit Realm.
He might not even reach the Law Creation Realm. So, why bother thinking about those realms?
On the other hand, Kirito was someone with a lot of potential. He could follow Tyler to those higher realms.
So, he wanted Kirito to know this.
"Outside this universe, there are a lot of fractured or self-contained mini-universes. They are also known as dimensions."
"These dimensions are ruled by a singular entity known as the Dimensional God, and they are unable to enter the main universe."
Hearing that, the general dryly asked.
"You don’t mean one of those dimension gods is the one behind all this?"
Tyler nodded.
"Yes! Of course, that god can’t exert his full power. Otherwise, not to mention me, even the people from the Divine Realm wouldn’t be able to fight him."
"In fact, they can’t use even one percent of their power in the universe. If they want to, they need some kind of sacrifice."
"You might say why I am not telling you this before, but the answer is simple. There is a Dragon Race in our world."
"Dragons are peacekeepers. If this Dimensional God starts wreaking havoc around the world, they will be killed."
"But by then, billions will die."
Hearing that, the general took a deep breath. He understood why this man wanted to fight that god.
He simply didn’t want so many people to die. This made a lot of sense. There were a lot of powerful people in the world.
They should have the strength to fight this kind of god, especially when its powers are sealed.
But even if that was the case, it would still take the lives of millions if not billions.
That was extremely cruel for anyone.
He also understood Tyler as a person through this conversation. Of course, he didn’t understand Tyler, but he understood his stance.
"So, we need to hurry up. Kill that Dimensional God before it can gather more blood from the dead people."
"I can deal with the Dimensional God, but I don’t want to deal with the masses of the three countries."
"That’s why I need your help. I need you to help them understand the truth. Don’t reveal anything about the universe or the realms."
"Just tell them an Evil God wants to absorb the blood of their people and reawaken. But before that, I need to do something else."
He stood up.
The general looked at him with a questioning gaze and asked.
"What could be more important than this?"
"Every minute we talk here, more people are dying, right? So, I am going to end those masters once and for all."
