He directed his Spiritual Sense to touch the wisp of aura that seemed to belong to the Mad Dragon. But the instant he made contact, the aura plunged directly into Baron's Spiritual Sense and vanished.

The maddening whispers that had been lingering in his ears also disappeared.

At the same time, the Spiritual Power in his body miraculously surged forth, infusing every corner of his being.

Baron felt his body fill with power once more. He also had a faint sense that his previously unstable rank as a Blood Faction Demon Hunter had become more solid.

Meanwhile, the academic Wizards and Knights led by Wizard K were still struggling against the seal.

Wizard K gritted his teeth and said, "Everyone, hold your breath and clear your minds. Don't think about anything. If you have to think, I personally suggest pi... The Mad Dragon is an Ancient Dragon infected with Madness. The moment you think about it, you risk being tainted by Madness. You must not, under any circumstances, picture its form—especially its eyes!"

At the same time, he thought, 'Have those Wizards sent for reinforcements even managed to notify the London Tower? In a situation like this, I'm afraid only my master and the Tower Master can handle it.'

The words had barely left his mouth when several Knights and Wizards started bleeding from their eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. They could no longer sustain the Alchemy Matrix, and the Talisman Stones shattered. The long chains whipped about before falling into the Abyss. The flickering shadow of lightning within the Abyss vanished, and a torrent of fire erupted from below. It was a massive wave of Dragon Flame, signifying that Silver Lion Wilder's illusory body had also dissipated.

This scene drew the gazes of the other Law Enforcers.

"This... Could this be a sign that the seal is about to break!"

"The Mad Dragon! The Mad Dragon is about to break free!"

"Where is Golden Wizard Newton? Someone, go to the London Tower and get Golden Wizard Newton! He's the only one who can deal with the Mad Dragon!"

"Someone already went to inform Golden Wizard Newton, but there's been no word from the London Tower... I don't know what's happened."

A clamor arose among the Law Enforcers.

And amidst this uproar, more Law Enforcers arrived. The newcomers were all elites from various professions.

Among them were Silver Demon Hunter Lu Sen, the Vice-President of the Demon Hunter Association; Silver Knight Hoder, the commander of the Griffin Knight Order; and numerous Elders and Household Servants from the great clans.

But that wasn't all.

Wave after wave of Law Enforcers continued to arrive.

They surrounded Traitor's Cliff, their gazes fixed in a single direction.

At the legendary Dragon Knight, the young Old Blood of the Bronze Tier...

"Baron Constantin!"

The Hestia Family Head was the first to step forward. He looked at Baron, who stood upon the cliff, and said, "I now know the truth of the matter. We were indeed mistaken about you regarding Anthony's death. However, in slaughtering so many Templar Knights and harming so many innocents, you are not without blame."

"Baron Constantin! You bombed King's Cross Station! Aside from the enormous financial losses, this incident has also caused a severe political rift between the Inner and Surface Sides! That alone is enough to have you sent before the Prole Court!"

This time, it was Mr. Hamilton who stepped forward. He had somehow made it from the auction house all the way to Traitor's Cliff, likely because the reinforcing Law Enforcer contingent had arrived.

"Baron Constantin! The Dragon Witch! Did you really kill the Dragon Witch!?" The one who spoke was the Mummy—Dragon Demon Hunter Andy, being pushed in a wheelchair.

Hearing his words, Baron was suddenly reminded of the moment the Dragon Witch fell from the cliff, and then, he thought of Jack's death.

His mood instantly grew heavy.

Just then, Lucy's voice reached him via a Spiritual Power transmission, her tone a little exasperated. "Why didn't you leave earlier? Can't you see more and more people are showing up? It's going to be difficult for you to leave now."

Baron was silent for a moment before saying, "Thank you for your Paperman."

If Lucy hadn't used the Paperman to block the Battle Nun's attack for him, he, now depleted of both blood and Spiritual Power, would probably be in a state to cosplay having his heart ripped out by Roy again.

"Paperman?" To his surprise, Lucy sounded taken aback. "I didn't use a Paperman. I thought you had some special Taboo Item."

Baron froze. Then, as if he had realized something, his previously grave expression suddenly relaxed.

Lucy sensed that Baron's demeanor had changed, as if he had suddenly gained some kind of certainty. He began walking toward the encirclement. "What are you doing?"

Baron drew his Spear Sword. "Just a guess. But with the Goddess of Fortune's blessing, I shouldn't be wrong."

Seeing Baron approach, the Law Enforcers exchanged glances, and a few immediately moved to surround him.

Isabella's phoenix eyes turned cold. She was about to thrust her spear, but Baron caught it.

Isabella looked at Baron. He shook his head at her. Isabella said coldly, "Let go."

Baron smiled faintly and released the Red Spear. He walked past the Law Enforcers who were sizing him up, his gaze locked directly on Elder Pence.

"Elder Pence, how long are you going to keep up the act? Don't you desperately want me dead? Why not do it yourself? I'd think an Elder of an Old Blood Clan like you would still have some fight left in him.

Or are you afraid of being killed by me, just like Roy was? Or perhaps you're afraid of your identity as a Dragon Devourer Cultist being exposed? Is that why you're so desperate to kill me that you're even willing to give up the Dragon Knight's Soul you've always wanted?"

Elder Pence's face twitched. "Cease your slander, Baron Constantin! I had no knowledge that Roy Hestia was a Dragon Devourer Cultist... nor did I know he would be here... This is all the doing of the Dragon Witch and the Dragon Eater Association!"

"You didn't know?" Baron chuckled. "I think Elder Pence must be getting senile!"

With that, his entire body shuddered, and his aura changed in an instant.
