Chapter 138: Wedding Decision
Chapter 138: Wedding Decision
“Ah—” A scream came, when Vikram was going to check Divya and Anjali.
“Did a monkey come into my territory?” Vikram thought, but instantly he understood, this was not a monkey, but a person.
He reached out and knocked on the door, “Knock knock knock.”
“What’s wrong? What happened? Why are you shouting so loudly?”
“Divya, don’t open the door, don’t let those bastards in.” A somewhat childish girl’s voice rang out from behind the door, and Vikram immediately knew that Anjali had finally woken up.
At the same time, another female voice rang out from inside the room, sounding much more mature than the previous one.
“Anjali, what nonsense are you spouting? What kind of bunch of bastards are you?” The tone was stern and reprimanding.
Upon hearing this, Anjali’s voice gradually shifted from fear to confusion. “The people of Savage Wolf Shelter…weren’t we captured?”
Divya didn’t respond to her words at all, but instead walked to the door, opened it, and let Vikram, who had been standing outside for a long time, in.
“Huh!?”
“Aren’t you Vikram? How did you get arrested too? Savage Wolf Shelter likes your type?” She said, her expression twisting with a hint of disgust.
Vikram didn’t respond, but stared at Anjali’s not-so-bright head with an expression as if he were looking at an idiot.
“Who told you we were captured and taken to Savage Wolf Shelter? This is Vikram’s sanctuary; he rescued us yesterday,” Divya finally couldn’t stand it anymore and stepped in to explain.
“That’s not right. I remember some of Savage Wolf Shelter’s men tried to touch me, but I slapped them across the face and they ran away.” As she spoke, she pointed to her hand proudly.
She didn’t notice that Vikram’s expression was not good; his face changed several times, and he looked like he was gritting his teeth.
“Pfft~” Divya, who was standing to the side, finally couldn’t help but burst out laughing when she saw this.
“Hahaha~” She didn’t even bother to cover her mouth. As she laughed, a set of white teeth were revealed. They were not vulgar at all. Instead, they looked very generous with her delicate face.
Anjali was bewildered by the sudden laughter, while Vikram’s face grew increasingly dark.
After laughing enough, she leaned close to Anjali’s ear to explain, when he was bringing her inside, she slapped his right cheek.
While both of them kept glancing at his right cheek.
He knew what they were talking about, but the slap that had hit his face, which he hadn’t felt at all, now stung.
Upon hearing this, Anjali also gritted her teeth and kept looking around, pretending to be very busy, clearly trying her best to suppress her laughter.
“Is it funny?” Vikram, who had been silent until now, finally spoke up, starting with a question and his eyes were unfriendly.
“No…it’s not funny, not funny at all,” Anjali blinked and answered obediently.
She’s just a bit playful, but she can still tell what’s important and what’s urgent.
The two of them are clearly being taken in by Vikram now, so why would she want to provoke Vikram?
It was already tough enough having Divya to keep me in check before. If I were to anger Vikram now, how would I survive in this wasteland?
“Hmph, you’re smart to know what’s good for you.” Seeing that she didn’t say anything out of line, the scrutinizing gaze that had been crossed over his arms finally left Anjali.
Anjali breathed a sigh of relief and gave herself a thumbs up for her cleverness.
He summoned the system, scanned the two individuals to check their information.

While Vikram was still absorbed in checking the stats of his plant army, Divya sat down beside Anjali and carefully explained everything that had happened so far, from their narrow escape with Kuldeep’s gang to Vikram’s timely rescue, and finally, her decision to marry him and stay in the Shelter.
The moment Anjali heard the word “marry,” her small face crumpled. Tears welled up in her eyes and spilled down her cheeks. Soft sobs quickly turned into loud, heartbroken crying.
Divya was taken aback. She immediately pulled the younger girl into her arms and stroked her hair. “Anju, what happened? Why are you crying? Tell me.”
Anjali sniffled loudly, her voice trembling with betrayal. “We… We promised each other when we were little! We said we would marry the same man together… like sisters. You promised! And now you’re betraying me and marrying Vikram alone!”
Divya let out a helpless sigh, gently wiping Anjali’s tears with her thumb. “Anju, that was just childish talk. We were kids back then. And you didn’t even like Vikram.m.”
But Anjali shook her head fiercely, her pigtails bouncing with the motion. “I don’t care! If you’re going to marry him, then I will marry him too. We promised!”
Divya opened her mouth to argue, but the stubborn determination in Anjali’s tear-filled eyes left her speechless. She couldn’t find the right words to convince the girl. In the end, she could only stare at her helplessly, completely unable to argue further.
Just then, Sophia walked over from the direction of the shelter, carrying a tray of fresh water. She had clearly overheard the entire conversation. Instead of staying silent, she stopped beside Vikram, placed the tray down, and looked at him with calm resolve.
“If both of them are getting married to you,” she said clearly, “then I will marry you too.”
Her sudden declaration stunned everyone for a moment. Then the argument erupted.
Divya turned sharply toward Sophia. “What? You can’t just decide that!”
Anjali, still sniffling but now fired up, wiped her tears and jumped in. “Yeah! You’re just the maid here!”
Sophia crossed her arms, refusing to back down. “I’ve been here longer than both of you. I’ve been warming Boss Vikram’s bed and taking care of the Shelter. If you two are becoming his wives, then I deserve to be one too.”
The three girls began talking over one another, voices rising in a chaotic mix of jealousy, stubbornness, and determination. Divya tried to reason with both of them, Anjali kept insisting on their childhood promise, and Sophia calmly but firmly defended her position. The argument went back and forth for several minutes, growing more intense with every exchange.
In the end, after a long and heated discussion, the three of them reached a surprising agreement. All three Divya, Anjali, and Sophia would marry Vikram.
Meanwhile, Vikram had been standing a few steps away the entire time, completely forgotten. He watched the scene unfold with widening eyes, his mouth slightly open in disbelief. The girls had argued, negotiated, and decided his entire future marital status without once asking for his opinion.
When they finally fell silent, satisfied with their decision, Vikram cleared his throat loudly and stepped forward.
“Wait just a second—” he began.
But none of the three girls even turned to look at him. Divya was already discussing living arrangements with Sophia, while Anjali excitedly tugged at Divya’s sleeve, talking about wedding clothes and how they would all be sisters again.
Vikram tried again, raising his voice slightly. “Hey! Don’t I get a say in this? This is my Territory, and I’m the one getting married here!”
Divya glanced at him briefly, her expression calm and matter-of-fact. “You already said yes to marrying me. The rest is just details.”
Sophia gave him a small, knowing smile. “You saved all of us, Boss. It’s only fair.”
Vikram stood there, speechless, watching the three girls continue their conversation as if he were invisible. He ran a hand through his hair, feeling both amused and slightly overwhelmed by how quickly things had escalated.
Shaking his head with a helpless chuckle, Vikram muttered under his breath, “What have I gotten myself into…”
—
In the evening, when they are preparing for the wedding, Anjali is mesmerized by everything from seeing Vikram’s territory.
“Di, look at this! There’s really light here,” Anjali said, looking around in wonder.
“Yeah, it feels a bit unreal to me too,” Divya nodded.
“Not long ago, we were still living by the light of a fire, and suddenly these lights appeared. It’s a bit hard to adapt.” As she spoke, she glanced at all the street lights illuminating the territory.
Sophia, who was walking behind them, smiled and said, “It’s alright, you’ll get used to it quickly. I was the same when I first came here. Come on, I’ll show you around the entire territory.”
It was unbelievable. Just a few hours ago, Sophia and Divya had been arguing with each other, and now they were acting like sisters.
Every time Anjali saw something new in the territory, she shouted excitedly.
“Di, there’s farmland here!”
“Di, there’s a goat!”
“Di, there are chickens and chicks!”
“Di, their plant children are so cute!”
“Di, will Vikram let me drive his bike?”
“Di, his territory is so big!”
“Di, the temperature here is so nice!”
“Di, where does the water come from inside the bathroom? And how is the hot water coming?”
“Di, how did he create the toilet?”
Before they could even recover from their amazement at the outdoor sights, Sophia brought them inside the main shelter. Both Anjali and Divya became even more shocked and amazed.
“This is a treehouse?”
“His shelter is a treehouse?”
They had assumed the shelter they saw from below was the main one, but when they discovered that Vikram’s actual home was this magnificent treehouse, their shock deepened.
After the upgrade, the interior had become at least 20 to 30 square meters in size, with three continuous floors. There was also a beautiful bed and sofa. Divya couldn’t tell what material they were made of, but judging by how deeply Anjali sank into the sofa the moment she sat down, it must have been extremely comfortable.
Seeing the current state of his territory, both Divya and Anjali understood one thing clearly, this place would be very good for the rest of their lives.
