Chapter 1163: Section 1164: Strong Attack

Chapter 1163: Section 1164: Strong Attack

Nitotip’s joining in the battle took everyone by surprise.

Not only the wizards on the floating ice, but also Sanders and Angel, and even Aoluxiya, who was involved, were all filled with doubts.

Aoluxiya turned around only to see a silhouette slowly emerging from the edge of the Void Tower. Nitotip, holding an umbrella, climbed upward along the tower wall with her massive tentacles beneath her gorgeous skirt. When she reached the top of the tower, her tentacles gave a strong flick, and Nitotip floated to Aoluxiya’s side, buoyant like an inflated jellyfish.

Nitotip’s appearance, as well as the arrival of the rain clouds, forced the wizards who had been besieging Aoluxiya to retreat.

Now, under the cover of the rain clouds, there were only Aoluxiya and Nitotip.

“Why have you come?” Aoluxiya didn’t look at Nitotip but turned around and flew back to the top of the tower. However, he asked in a low voice as he passed by Nitotip.

After Aoluxiya landed at the top of the tower, Tandin immediately stepped forward, “Lord Aoluxiya, are you all right?”

Aoluxiya shook her head and casually patted Greerwu’s head, “Don’t worry, they can’t hurt me yet.”

Greerwu curiously watched Nitotip floating in the distant sky, “My lord, why has Nitotip come?”

“It has its reasons for coming. Whether for self-interest or due to external pressures,” Aoluxiya said, then looked up quietly at Nitotip.

“Pitter-patter—”

The light rain fell from the clouds, hitting the umbrella with a crisp sound, like lively musical notes, bringing a hint of fun to the gloomy and oppressive moment.

Nitotip didn’t look back but turned her face slightly, the rain made of tender drizzle veiling her eyes, lending them an enchanting beauty.

Nitotip smiled faintly, her gaze landing on Greerwu, “I have my reasons for coming, as for what they are… you’ll know soon enough.”

At the same time, inside the council chamber of the Void Tower.

This place is usually for the seven seats to come together for discussions, but now, it was occupied only by Yadasai’s seat.

The ceiling of the council chamber is in the shape of a pointed vault, with colorful, religiously ceremonial patterns painted on every side of the pinnacle. At the exact center of the peak, there’s a gemstone embedded, as if emitting a nebula of star-studded seas.

This gemstone is usually for receiving the messages of the lords or the will of the Demon God. However, the Demon Lord hardly pays attention to Lassudral, and since Nereus’s departure, no other Demon God has conveyed their will. Hence, the gemstone has been dormant for a long time.

But now, the gemstone suddenly became active.

This was also the reason why Yadasai had come here.

A beam of light materialized from the center of the gemstone and slowly descended, within the light screen seemed to be countless stars ebbing and flowing. The light screen, twinkling with starlight, fell precisely in the center of the round council table below.

The light pierced through the darkness of the council chamber, leaving a row of patterns on the table.

Yadasai looked at the pattern quietly and after a long while, muttered softly, “Lord Galal is about to arrive… It seems the Lord of the Flameless cares more about Aoluxiya than I had thought.”

After a light chuckle, Yadasai casually wiped away the brilliance of the gemstone and disappeared from the council chamber that would never serve a purpose again.

The intervention of Nitotip not only rendered Monty’s plans futile. Moreover, its appearance gave a strong boost to the scattered demons. The demons united, no longer deliberately avoiding the attacks of humans, because the rain clouds became their staunchest support.

The human wizards were forced to retreat, step by step.

Watching this situation, Sinafa’s eyes carried a hint of urgency, “Nitotip has joined the battle at this time? If we continue to fight a war of attrition like before, the only possible losers are us.”

“Now we must find a way to deal with Nitotip’s rain clouds, or else the plan can’t go on.”

But how to solve this? If Nitotip’s rain clouds were not deployed, dealing with her wouldn’t be very difficult, but once the rain clouds were open, tackling Nitotip under these conditions became a difficult problem.

They had also discussed Nitotip’s umbrella before, speculating about its effects.

The Mysterious Umbrella could create a mid-ranged Raincloud Space, within which Nitotip was virtually immortal. Although the Raincloud Space couldn’t enhance Nitotip’s attack power, her physical durability soared, and even the gravest injuries would heal instantly.

In such circumstances, tackling the rain clouds proved to be a tough problem.

Monty was also troubled at the moment. Before, they could ignore Nitotip based on the characteristic that the rain clouds couldn’t move once in place. But now, with Nitotip deploying the rain clouds right above the Void Tower, especially over Aoluxiya’s position, they had no choice but to engage in battle.

Monty turned his head and looked towards Luci.

Luci sighed and shook his head, clearly also at a loss. After all, that umbrella was a Mysterious Object, naturally, it would interfere with the art of Prophecy.

Monty inwardly sighed, even Nitotipu had a Mysterious Umbrella, how could the Frostmoon Alliance’s mysterious artifacts be lacking? Not to mention some Mysterious Objects hidden among the wizards, Monty himself still held several trump cards, and he was even somewhat confident he could forcefully cause a predetermined space to collapse. But now he couldn’t do that, erasure was easy, but to wipe it out and at the same time take Aoluxiya with him, that was very difficult.

In such a situation, Monty pondered for a moment, then suddenly opened his eyes: “Force the attack!”

Force the attack? The wizards all looked at Monty with surprised eyes.

“A forceful attack is indeed a path, but if it fails, not only will it consume our strength in vain, but it will also greatly damage our morale,” Nereus raised an eyebrow. “Lord Monty, are you sure this will work?”

Samantha hesitated for a moment before speaking: “I think what Lord Monty means is that we should go deep into the Raincloud Space, on one hand to contain Nitotipu, and on the other hand to hunt Aoluxiya.”

Monty nodded: “Correct, Samantha and Kanter have fought with Nitotipu before, and in that Raincloud Space, it is indeed difficult to deal with, but it would also find it hard to kill you. So, why not try a forceful attack? I’ll deal with Aoluxiya personally, Samantha will continue to use Illusory Spirits projection to guard against demons inside the Raincloud, and you will contain Nitotipu.”

“Once we succeed, we’ll activate the Space Reversal and leave this place immediately!”

Monty’s plan was indeed a desperate gamble, but upon further thought, it seemed to have a certain feasibility.

It had already been deduced that Nitotipu could only heal its own wounds within the Raincloud Space; it had no way to heal the wounds of other demons. Both the Blood Cocoon and Komodo had stayed in the Raincloud Space for a long time, and their wounds had not healed because of it, which indicated as much.

In the Raincloud Space, Nitotipu could indeed be said to be nearly invincible, but that only meant its physical body was impermeable. With so many True Knowledge Wizards to contain it, even if Nitotipu could recover infinitely, it would be difficult to extend a helping hand to Aoluxiya.

Thus, the real challenge was Monty’s confrontation with Aoluxiya.

However, the confrontation between Monty and Aoluxiya was bound to happen, whether now or in the near future.

Moreover, Monty had been preparing for this for many years, and had allied himself with various Witcher Organizations, holding various secret methods, so everyone felt that in this battle, Monty’s chances of victory were far greater than of failure.

Once successful, they could use that space-related Mysterious Object to leave directly.

With so many variables in Lassudral, if they could leave a bit earlier because of this, that would also be a good thing.

Upon thinking this, everyone’s thoughts on ‘forceful attack’ began to shift.

At that moment, Nereus suddenly spoke: “However, we have only made assumptions about the specific properties of that umbrella. No one can guarantee that the umbrella doesn’t have other effects.”

Seeing the others look over, Nereus shrugged: “After all, we are all planning to enter the Raincloud, so we must consider every aspect.”

Samantha: “You are not wrong in considering that, it’s possible that the umbrella indeed has some unknown mysterious effects. However, Kanter and I have fought with Nitotipu in the Raincloud for a long time. If there were other mysterious effects, I believe they would not be deadly offensive ones, otherwise Nitotipu would have used them already, and Kanter and I wouldn’t be alive today.”

Samantha’s words dispelled some of the doubts in everyone’s hearts. Nereus also nodded, no longer pushing the issue.

Monty’s gaze slowly swept over everyone, asking with his eyes for their stance. Wizards, when caught in his gaze, either expressed no opinion or agreed to force the attack. However, when Monty looked towards Kanter, he found him frowning, as if pondering something.

“Kanter, do you have any concerns?”

Kanter was startled, then after a moment of hesitation shook his head: “No concerns, I agree with the forceful attack.”

Kanter’s frown was due to worries about Sanders and Angel’s situation. However, if they were going with a forceful attack, they would necessarily enter the Raincloud. Then they could take the chance to check out the bottom of the Void Tower and see if Sanders had managed to enter.

All agreed with Monty’s proposal, and with no further objections from Monty, he waved his scepter.

In an instant, the wind stirred, and clouds surged.

With thundering roars, the stalled ice floes were once again activated. And they began to press towards the Raincloud, step by step!

Humans not only did not retreat but also pressed forward with the ice floes, causing Nitotipu, who witnessed this scene, to have a moment of frozen expression.

The hovering Nitotipu turned its head to look at Aoluxiya on the tower top.

“It seems they’re planning to risk everything and force an attack. Humans, indeed, must not be underestimated. Under a forceful attack, and with just my own power, it will be very hard to hold them off,” murmured Nitotipu. “You must be careful.”

Aoluxiya did not respond, just quietly looked at the painting before them.

The painting, entirely black, represented the night.

And night does not last forever, dawn will soon break.
