Chapter 862 - 863 – Grey – Part 11.

"W-wait! What do you mean she betrayed us?! You are saying that she maybe working Kai'ku'dan clan?!" – asked alarmed LM.

"No! She is not! But she still lied to everybody!" – replied Tail.

"By now the homes of the members of alliance must be in rubles, since all of the military force was deployed to stop the traitors before they could finish their plan."

"Meaning that the homes were completely undefended… And they must had been turned into the land of the death by now."

"This isn't a freaking theory. It is truth."

"If those monsters have truly limited lifespan, they could only aim at the alliance's members' homes."

"…There is also something that the dragon queen said that worries me."

"The appearance of the grey monsters."

"According to her, only the heads exploded and were replaced by some kind of eye."

"But this time we all saw how their heads and then ARMS exploded!"

"I don't think that there was a misinformation… Instead, we are dealing with two different grey monsters."

"The ones that were born from two destroyed clans must be the weaker ones compare to the ones here."

"However, they have longer lifespan."

"Still, it doesn't matter if they are weaker or not, since there is nobody to defend their homes!"

"Wait! But why!? Why would she had lied about it to us?!"

"Because she was desperate." - said Tail.

"And honestly speaking, we shouldn't speak about it."

"The hell do you mean?!" – asked confused LM.

"She knows that we had no time." – replied Tail.

"If we were to turn back and the deal with the armies aiming for the alliance's members' homes, then if we would try to go right back to the Kai'ku'dan clan once again, we would waste too much time and the Kai'ku'dan clan would had finished their plan."

"In other words, the only play here that would make sure that we would had won was this."

"Forget about the distraction army and head straight for the Kai'ku'dan clan."

"The reason why she didn't told anybody about this was that she knew that they would argue and would want to go back at any cost."

"I would had done the same if I were in her shoes."

"The situation is just that desperate."

"But what happens if we win?" – said LM.

"There is no way the other clans wouldn't find out about her betrayal."

"She is prepared to face to consequences."

"Now move! We waisted already enough time!" – said Tail as he started running again.

"Hey wait! Jeez!" – said LM who quickly fallowed after Tail.

(The Wo'won clan had betrayed the alliance… But that betrayal maybe the thing that will tilde the tides of war in our favor.) – thought Tail.

(However, the question remains what she will do after the war has ended?)

(Will she just willingly accept the punishment?)

(Or by any chance, she will seize the moment and betrayal the alliance completely, aiming to wipe them out?)

(We need to be wary of this.)

(Not only that, but now that the "benefactor" of all the fucking bastards had decided to lent support, who knows what kind of new random bullshit we will be encountering?!)

The battle outside raged on.

The soldiers of the alliance, be it foot soldiers or the dragons in their full forms were falling down dead.

Even good number of the golems that were in charge of protecting the city or the automatic guns and cannons had been destroyed by the grey monsters.

But even so, the alliance fought back.

And it had the effect.

The mist and the rain was long gone, making it clearly visible who was truly winning.

It was alliance.

Most of the grey monsters had been dealt with, leaving only a handful of them left.

The battle was pretty much won at this point.

However, the grey monsters didn't had any emotions or sense, causing them to still mindlessly charge at the alliance's army.

The alliance was obviously no longer overwhelmed by the massive army of grey monsters… But still, both the physical and mental pressure had pilled up on the everybody, making them extremely exhausted.

"H-how many left?" – asked the king of the Pyrgos clan in his dragon form as he had hard time breathing.

"Only several are left! Soon we will wipe them all out!" – said the lizardman knight.

"We can do this!"

"…Okay… Do it… I need a moment to catch a breath." – said the dragon king.

(Thanks, the ancient that I no longer need to unleashed countless high-ranking spells nonstop.) – thought the dragon king of the Pyrgos clan as he looked towards the dragon king of Wumi clan.

(That guy is also in the same state just as me.)

(No wonder there. That freaking wave of the monsters poured from the city.)

(We had been forced to unleash our strongest attacks non stop in order to make sure the casualties wouldn't be catastrophic from the start.)

(Still, I can't really said I'm just relaxed yet.)

(The enemy goal was to buy time and they definite did that with those monsters!)

"Hey. Give me potion injection." – said the dragon king of the Pyrgos clan.

"!?"

"But sir! Your body is already exhausted! If you try to move it-"

"Do it." – said the dragon king of the Pyrgos clan as the worried medic tried to argue.

"Do me… Too." – said the dragon kind of the Wumi clan as he approached.

"…You sure are walking into the hell." – said the king of the Pyrgos clan.

"Same as you." – replied the king of the Wumi clan.

"Besides."

"Do you really think I can just stand by as the bastards that had ruined so many lives, even massacred their own clan, just let them live!?"

"No."

"So just shup and hit me!"

"…"

"You heard him." – said the dragon king of the Pyrgos clan to medic.

"…"

"PREPARE THE INJECTION!" – shouted the medic.

"…"

"Huh… These two bastards still want to fight?" – said Shri whose monsters were destroying the grey monsters.

"Well then… Let's fuck it and use it as finisher." – said Shri as she swung up her up and then down her whip, which smashed the ground… And in the next moment, created a teleportation gate.

"Come to me beasts of hell! The time for the finishing feast is here!"

[Meanwhile: Oron]

"…"

"…"

(Nothing, huh?) – thought Oron while still running in the underground rail system.

(By now I should be fighting somebody once again… But nothing?)

(My detection skills didn't picked up either.)

(Did they realized that their strategy didn't made sense and they couldn't slow me down too much?)

(Or maybe they are fortifying their defenses?)

"…"

"Hey." – said Oron to communication device.

"…"

"…"

"Still nothing?"

(I've tried contacting Tail and LM after I've dealt with those dragons, but I'm still not receiving any replies?)

(Jammers.)

(Goddammit.)

"Still… Where the fuck am I?!"

(I've already ran a long fucking distance since I've gotten here!)

(There is no way I'm underneath the castle any longer… Heck! Am I even underneath the Kai city right now or not?!)

(No… Think about it.)

(Think about the way I've came here… North… Then west… And now I think I'm heading south?)

(Wait, I'm heading south right now, then shouldn't the Wo'won clan alliances, members be below me?) – thought Oron as he stopped in tracks and looked up with his demonic eye.

"…Tch. It ain't working." – said Oron as something was jamming his detection skill that tried to look through the ceiling of the underground.

(So that is the deal here. The entire place is being completely hidden by jamming, so the detection of any kind wouldn't notice this place.)

(Still… How about making a hole!) – thought Oron as he took out one of his special crossbow bolts and aimed straight at the celling.

"They don't really need to take the long ass route to get here!"

"THEY JUST HAVE TO COME HERE!" – shouted Oron as he stacked up several skills before then firing off his crossbow, unleashing a powerful shot which just dug right into the metallic celling… Before then managing to pierce it.

The empowered bolt dug through the ground, heading higher and higher, before then exploding.

"!"

(What was that mana reaction?) – thought the dragon queen who sense the explosion.

"…"

"Still no light." – said Oron as he took out a second special bolt and fired it, which once again dug through the ground, climbing higher and higher… Before then bursting through the ground and exploding on the surface, which was noticed by the Wo'won clan's army.

"Alright!" – said Oron as with his demonic eye could see the light of outside.

"[Summon: Shadow Ninja]! [Summon: Shadow Shinobi]!" – after creating a hole, Oron summoned his shadow humanoid monsters.

"You all! Use that hole to get to the surface and inform the dragon queen of the Wo'won clan about the hole!" – said Oron as his shadows monsters complied to the orders and turned into pure shadows on the ground, which then began traversing the ground, then the walls, before then making their way to the celling and the hole all together.

(Good. This should make situation much easier!) – thought Oron as without wasting a moment had once again started running .

(Still, there is no time to waste.)

(I need to find those bastards and stop them or at least slow them down until allies arrive!)

(At any moment their plan could be reaching the moment of completion!)
