Chapter 628 - 627 – Ice dragon clan’s civil war – Part 3.

There exist countless different dragon species.

It isn't just dragons who are massive beasts, no.

There are countless different dragons.

Some that can be used to drag carriages.

Some that can fly in the sky.

Some that can swim underwater.

Some that are like trained hounds that help out in hunting.

There are both giants and there are small.

There are both harmless and dangerous.

However! There is one thing that each of the dragon species have in common!

Element.

Each dragon posses a single elemental power, which also represented on their scales.

Lime – Wind.

Red – Fire.

Blue – Water.

Brown – Earth.

Crimson – Magma.

Grey – Mist.

Green – Plant.

Yellow – Thunder.

Turquoise – Ice.

Sand (Color) – Sand.

Black – Darkness.

White – Light.

Main color that appears at one of the dragons is what they represent.

The dragons may have a different colored hair or horns, but their scales represent what they are.

…HOWEVER!

There is one elemental type of dragon that has two main elements.

It has both gold and silver colors.

The arcane dragons.

Now, how do dragons organize? There are both intelligent and mindless one.

Simple.

Clan.

The strongest and intelligent dragon of specific element form together a place and something akin to family.

It is called a "Clan".

Clan isn't completely made out of every single elemental dragon of their element, since there are both who doesn't want to be part of it or are mindless beasts.

However, fact remains that the clans are always made out elite and powerful dragons.

And when it comes to the ranking?

The arcane dragon clan stood on the very top.

They were beyond powerful and not only that, they were both smart and still evolving.

They were the dragon clan who always honed their magic arts and technology advancement.

They researches many histories, tales and information.

Power, might, technology, knowledge and many more.

They just had it all.

Which was unfortunate, since the invaders knew how dangerous they are and decided to exterminate the arcane dragon clan.

They knew that the arcane dragons would be the biggest obstacle there was, and so, the invaders hunted down and exterminated the entire arcane dragon clan, while also hunting down any powerful dragons of arcane element that weren't part of the clan.

And so, the arcane dragon clan was gone, and any chances of even trying to restore it was physical impossible.

(So why!?) – thought princess Assinia as she flew above the battlefield.

(WHY THE HELL THE ARCANE DRAGON HERE?!)

(EVEN AFTER THE CLAN WAS EXTERMINATED, THE ELEMENTAL DRAGONS THAT WIELDED THE ARCANE ELEMENT WERE HUNTED DOWN!)

(The clan was gone and most of the arcane dragon themselves were wiped out! HELL! Maybe all of them were wiped out since that incident, I found not a single ARCANE DRAGON!)

Meanwhile, at the same time, in the middle of the purity faction territory, a silver dragon was also going on the rampage, with the same kind of weird green veins.

"THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" – shouted the massive dragoness.

(Arcane dragon?!) – thought panicking princess as the silver dragon was going on the rampage, fighting the high-ranking dragon named Deg.

It was on the total rampage.

(Is this really arcane dragon?!) – thought alarmed Deg as he was trying to hold back the savage dragon, only to realize that the strength of the monster he was fighting was terrifying.

While the high-ranking dragon was fighting the berserker dragon, the dragoness who was observing the fight had decided to intervene, unleashing a series of attacks that sprouted from the ground in form of ice claw spikes that pierced the mad dragon's body.

"Back off Deg!" – shouted the dragoness as the high-ranking dragon fallowed order and quickly to the skies, regrouping with the dragoness.

"Breath attack!"

"But-"

"NOW!" – shouted the dragon princess as the high-ranking dragon tried to argue.

The two dragons unleashed their ice dragon breaths at the arcane dragon, instantly freezing it in the thick layer of ice.

"Princess… W-what is going on?!" – said confused Deg.

"This is arcane dragon!"

"And what the hell was wrong with it!? Why it was acting like some sort of animal?!"

"Something wasn't right." – said the dragoness.

"YEAH! I KNOW!" – shouted Deg.

"NO! I DON'T MEAN THAT ANIMAL LIKE BEHAVIOR!" – shouted the princess Ari.

"MAGIC! WHY THE FUCK IT WASN'T USING ANY MAGIC?! IT WAS JUST USING BREATH ATTACK!"

(Arcane dragons are masters of magic! The magic is their strongest weapons!) – thought princess Ari as she realized that seriously wrong in the current situation.

(Not only that… THE HELL IS THIS?!)

"?!" – both dragons looked towards the dragon incased in ice.

"You got to be fucking kidding me." – said the terrified princess as in the very next moment, the arcane dragon has broken free from the ice and roared on top of its lungs, alarming both dragons that trapped it in the first place.

"Shit! How did he do that?!" – said Deg as he gotten ready to fight once again.

"?!" – only to then saw something that really scared him.

The wounds that the arcane dragon has sustained were rapidly regenerating.

"Seriously. The hell is the deal with these bastard?!" – shouted Deg.

The rampaging dragons didn't seen any reason at all.

They just went on the full-on rampage like animals.

No matter how they gotten hurt, no matter how much their bodies would get twisted or ripped apart… They just kept going.

Not only that, but every single one of these savage dragons had powerful regenerative ability, which was also combined with their incredible strength and their rampaging breath attacks that destroyed everything around.

These "Monsters" straight up forced the evolution and purity factions who had a civil war going on right now, to focus instead on these creatures.

In terms of numbers, the ice dragons were overwhelming them.

But that was just it.

Numbers.

When it comes down to casualties? The ice dragons are suffering nonstop.

They couldn't stop these monsters from rampaging.

"Let's see what is going on." – said Thanatos as she took out what appears to be a tablet from her inventory, before then turning it on.

Scattered across the ice dragon nest, there were a series of cameras that Thanatos planted around.

"…Fuck." – said Thanatos as she noticed that the good number of cameras she had are already destroyed.

"Common… Here."

"Oh shit."

(I know that this whole place had became a mess… But NOT THIS MUCH!)

(What is going on out there?!)

(Fuck! Anything else!? Why the hell all good cameras I've planted are destroyed?!)

"SHIT! IT AIN'T STOPPING!" – shouted panicking ice lizardman.

(Wait… Why aren't those guys fighting?) – thought alarmed Thanatos as she saw the ice lizardman and dragonewts, standing side by side with necro ice lizardman and dragonewts.

In the next moment, a golden light enveloped the army and seconds later also caught the camera in the blast radius, destroying Thanatos's vision.

"Gold?" – said Thanatos.

(A golden light?)

(What the hell was that?!)

(Thunder dragons?)

"Shit! All of my cameras are getting wrecked! At this rate there won't be any left!" – said Thanatos who tried to change to the next camera, only to then see a necro ice dragon fell down on the ground dead.

And right on top of it, there was dragon with silver and golden scales covering his body, alongside weird pulsing green veins.

(That ain't thunder dragon!) – thought extremely alarmed Thanatos before the camera she was using was destroyed by the dragon's stomp.

"Wait… Aren't those… Arcane dragon color pallet?!"

(But… Phantasia told me recently that dragon clan and any powerful dragons from that element were gone!)
