Cassandra slowly leaned closer to Damian and narrowed her eyes. "Something’s strange."

Damian immediately frowned. "What?"

She moved even closer, then sniffed lightly near his neck.

Damian stared at her. "...Why the hell are you smelling me?"

Cassandra completely ignored the question and leaned a little closer, genuine curiosity appearing in her crimson eyes. "You became a mortal, but somehow... you smell even better than before."

Damian’s expression immediately worsened. "That... I have no idea. So can you please stop sniffing me like some kind of meal?"

Serina stepped closer as well and placed two fingers against Damian’s arm.

After examining him for a moment, she nodded thoughtfully. "I think I understand."

Cassandra looked toward her.

Serina explained, "The burst destroyed nearly every cultivation foundation inside him, but all that power didn’t simply vanish."

She lightly tapped Damian’s chest. "Without a proper foundation left to support, the remaining power seems to have been forced into his physical body instead."

Damian glanced at his own arm.

Serina continued, "So technically, he’s a mortal now... but only in cultivation."

Her lips curved slightly. "His body alone is probably no weaker than that of many Golden Core cultivators."

Cassandra’s eyes immediately brightened. "Oh?"

Damian noticed that expression and immediately became wary. "Cassandra."

She grinned. "So basically... your cultivation is gone, but your body is still durable."

Damian narrowed his eyes. "Why are you saying it like that?"

Cassandra leaned closer. "Because that means I can finally dominate you properly without worrying about you turning the tables halfway through."

Damian froze.

Serina blinked once, then unexpectedly smiled. "In that case... may I join?"

Damian’s head snapped toward her. "What?"

Serina folded her hands behind her back, still looking far too calm. "I’m officially a member of the harem now, aren’t I? And besides..."

Her calm smile slowly turned mischievous. "Opportunities like this are rare. You’ll recover sooner or later."

She tilted her head slightly. "So I’d rather enjoy the advantage while it still exists."

Cassandra laughed. "Hehehe... I like you already."

She gestured toward Damian. "Since it’s your first time, Sister Serina, I’ll even let you lead."

Serina smiled politely. "Thank you, Sister Cassandra."

Damian stared at both women like they had just formed an alliance against humanity. "Can we maybe do this another day?"

Both women answered at once. "No."

Damian’s eye twitched. "You two are Peak Nascent Soul cultivators, while I’m just a damn mortal right now."

He leaned back slightly, suddenly looking far less confident. "I might enjoy the process, sure... but afterward, I’m probably going to spend three days unable to stand."

Serina raised one finger, and a small droplet of water formed above her fingertip.

Without giving Damian time to react, she gently pressed it against his lips.

Her smile widened. "Don’t worry. This water was formed from my Harmonious Ocean Qi."

She slowly traced one finger along Damian’s chest. "It’ll help your body feel better and make the whole experience much more pleasant."

Cassandra’s grin immediately widened. "So basically... an aphrodisiac with body-enhancing effects?"

Serina smiled calmly. "You could say that."

Damian frowned as the droplet was pressed against his lips. Unable to really refuse at that point, he finally swallowed it.

A moment later, he slowly lay back down on the bed, his expression turning completely helpless. "If I’m going to be eaten alive, at least be gentle."

Cassandra and Serina both smiled.

Neither of them said a word.

Which, somehow, made Damian even more nervous.

Outside the house, Miona had barely stepped into the courtyard before Linsey moved directly in front of her.

Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn spread out around them, making it very clear this was not going to be a friendly conversation.

Linsey rolled her shoulders with a bright smile that looked far too cheerful. "Alright. Since you’re officially one of us now, we’re not going to seriously hurt you."

Miona raised an eyebrow. "Hurt me? Are you kidding? I’m a Peak Nascent Soul cultivator now."

She pointed at all four of them. "If anything, you’re the ones who should be thinking about what ridiculous martial arts you’ll need just to keep up."

Cynthia calmly adjusted her sleeves. "There’s no need to talk like that, Miona. We’ll keep it simple. Physical strength only. That should make things fair enough."

Miona looked around at the four of them and snorted. "Fair? Four against one?"

Helena crossed her arms. "You’re an ancient Empress with ridiculous strength. We’re four younger cultivators. Sounds fair to me, Granny."

Miona’s eye twitched, and suddenly her lips slowly curled into a dangerous grin. "Granny, huh?"

She cracked her knuckles and stepped forward. "Fine. Then I’ll take this chance to teach you brats how to respect your elders."

The four women exchanged one quick glance before moving at the same time.

Linsey rushed straight in with a fast punch while Helena came from the side.

Miona leaned back just enough to let Linsey’s fist miss, caught her wrist, and yanked her forward.

"Hey!"

Linsey stumbled directly into Helena’s path, forcing Helena to jerk her punch aside at the last second.

Miona slipped between them with a grin, drove her shoulder into Helena, then swept Linsey’s ankle out from under her.

A second later, both women crashed into the ground together.

Before Miona could laugh, Cynthia came in from behind.

Miona twisted around, caught her wrist, spun beneath her arm, and sent Cynthia stumbling forward.

Evelyn was already there and fired two quick punches.

Miona blocked the first, slipped past the second, then shoved Evelyn straight into Cynthia before either of them could recover.

The two collided.

Miona planted her hands on her hips and laughed. "Four against one, and somehow you idiots are still beating each other up!"

Linsey sprang back to her feet, face red with anger. "Shut up!"

Miona’s grin widened. "Come make me."

This time, all four surrounded Miona properly.

Helena attacked high while Linsey went low. Cynthia moved for Miona’s side, and Evelyn circled behind her, waiting for an opening.

Miona only smiled and stepped straight toward Helena.

She caught Helena’s arm, pulled her across her body, and used her as a moving shield.

Linsey immediately stopped her kick to avoid hitting Helena.

That tiny hesitation was enough.

Miona released Helena, shoved Linsey backward with one palm, twisted around, caught Cynthia around the waist, and threw her onto the ground.

At the same moment, Evelyn finally wrapped both arms around Miona from behind. "Got you."

Miona grinned. "Did you?"

She bent forward sharply, pulled Evelyn over her shoulder, and dropped her beside Cynthia.

A few seconds later, all four women were scattered across the courtyard.

Miona stood in the middle of them with her hands on her hips. "That’s all you’ve got?"

Her grin widened. "If you’re going to gang up on someone, at least learn how to actually work together."
