Cassandra immediately knelt beside Damian and grabbed his shoulder. "Damian! Hey, wake up!"

There was no response at all.

But the moment she tried to sense his aura, her expression changed completely.

Damian’s aura had weakened so drastically that it was genuinely frightening. Right now, he barely felt any different from an ordinary mortal.

Miona stopped beside them, staring down at Damian in disbelief. "What the hell...?"

Cassandra turned toward her, anger flashing across her face.

Miona immediately raised both hands. "Hey, don’t look at me like that! I didn’t know he was going to do something this damn crazy!"

Her expression turned genuinely troubled as she crouched down beside him. "I was trying to teach him a lesson, not beat him half to death."

Cassandra kept one hand on Damian, but when she looked back at Miona, the anger in her eyes had sharpened into something far colder.

"Yeah? Then why the hell did he have to sacrifice himself just to keep up with you? Look at him. He can barely even be called a cultivator right now."

Miona’s face stiffened. "How the hell am I supposed to know? I’m not him."

She looked down at Damian, frustration and guilt mixing across her face. "Just what kind of idiot sacrifices his own body over a damn spar?"

Cassandra’s head snapped toward her. "Shut your damn mouth!"

Miona’s eyes narrowed. "What?"

Cassandra slowly stood, her aura beginning to turn dangerous. "He was already pushing himself because you kept provoking him."

She pointed at him, "You mocked him, challenged him, kept forcing him to prove himself, and now you’re calling him an idiot for actually doing it?"

Miona rose as well, her expression hardening. "Don’t twist this around on me. I never told him to destroy himself."

For a moment, the air between them became heavy.

Cassandra’s voice dropped to a quiet, murderous tone. "Then pray he wakes up before I decide I don’t care whose fault it was."

As the two kept arguing, Serina finally snapped, "Enough of this damn shit, both of you!"

Cassandra and Miona immediately fell silent.

Serina walked over and looked down at Damian for several seconds before sighing. "Cassandra, for now, just calm down."

Cassandra glared at her. "What the hell do you mean, calm down?"

Serina met her gaze steadily. "Cassandra, I know you don’t fully trust me yet... but why in the world can’t you trust Damian?"

Cassandra’s eyes narrowed.

Serina sighed again and glanced toward Damian. "You know what kind of man he is. He’s the leader of the Forbidden Immortal Harem, a shameless bastard who values his life, his treasures, and his women far too much."

Her expression turned serious. "Do you honestly think a man like that would cripple himself over a spar unless he was absolutely certain he had some ridiculous way to recover afterward?"

Cassandra stared down at Damian, and after several seconds, she finally calmed down a little. "You’re right, Serina... this bastard is always like this."

She raised two fingers. "He’s already fooled me by dying in front of me twice."

Miona immediately blurted out, "Then he was just lying to you."

Cassandra’s head snapped toward her. "Shut up!"

Miona froze.

Cassandra tightened her grip on Damian’s shoulder. "I don’t care if he lied. In the end, he came back alive. He can lie to me a hundred times for all I care... as long as he’s still alive afterward."

Miona’s mouth twitched, clearly wanting to say something, but before she could, Serina looked at her and slowly shook her head.

Serina turned back toward Cassandra. "Now that you’ve calmed down, take Damian back for now. We’ll follow later."

She then looked toward the palace in the distance. "There are still two people inside we need to deal with. After all... they’re the ones responsible for what happened to our parents."

Cassandra immediately understood and let out a slow breath. "Fine. I’ll take Damian back and let you finish your business. But when you two return, we’re continuing this conversation."

Her eyes shifted toward Miona. "Especially you."

Miona snorted and crossed her arms. "Fine by me."

Serina could only sigh.

With that, Cassandra lifted the unconscious Damian and left, while Serina and Miona turned toward the palace.

The moment they did, the warmth disappeared from both of their faces.

Their expressions became ice-cold.

---

Lenox and Corlan were still inside the palace when the entire structure suddenly began to shake.

Cracks spread violently across the ancient walls and ceiling around them.

"What the hell?!" Corlan shouted, stumbling as another tremor ran through the floor.

Lenox’s expression changed immediately. "Forget this place. Let’s get out first!"

Neither of them hesitated.

They rushed toward the nearest exit, and by the time they finally escaped, massive sections of the ancient palace were already collapsing behind them.

Then they noticed Serina and Miona standing outside, calmly waiting for them.

Lenox immediately shouted, "You two! The Twin Keys! You’ve awakened, haven’t you?! Then you should know where the treasures are!"

Corlan nodded sharply, frustration written all over his face. "Exactly! Where the hell are they? We searched the entire palace and found nothing!"

Miona stared at them without answering, her expression growing colder by the second.

For years, these two had manipulated their lives, arranged their parents’ deaths, and treated them like nothing more than tools.

Normally, Miona would have happily dragged out their revenge until both men regretted ever being born.

But right now, Damian mattered more.

Serina let out a long, irritated sigh. "You two really are idiots. I wanted to make you suffer properly for what you did, but..."

Her eyes hardened. "But... Damian is more important than our miserable revenge."

She turned toward Miona. "End this quickly. Sorry you won’t get to enjoy yourself much."

Miona only sighed and glanced at her sister. "Don’t worry, Sis. This is partly my fault anyway, so just leave it to me."

Then she turned back toward Lenox and Corlan, a vicious grin slowly returning to her face. "Besides... who said I can’t still enjoy this?"

Miona soon quickly vanished.

Before either man could even understand what had happened, she appeared directly in front of them, fury exploding through her eyes as she drove her fist forward.

[Thousand Furious Waves Fist]

The first impact struck them both at once, followed immediately by the second, the third, and then countless more.

Lenox and Corlan’s bodies convulsed again and again as invisible waves of force continued smashing through them.

Each impact was stronger than the last, and before long, their screams disappeared beneath the relentless succession of blows.

Miona finally lowered her fist and looked down at their ruined bodies with a cold grin. "Done."

She turned away. "They still have more than nine hundred more waves left to endure. That should be more than enough punishment before they die... miserably."

Serina walked over calmly and glanced at the two men only once before nodding. "Good. Let’s go back. I’m still worried about Damian."

Miona’s expression immediately changed, and she looked away, letting out a long sigh. "Yeah... I know."

After a brief silence, she rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. "And, uh... sorry, Sis. I kind of caused all this. You and Cassandra nearly started fighting because of me, and Damian ended up like that because I kept pushing him."

Serina looked at her sister for a moment before smiling gently. "Don’t worry. We’re sisters. Besides, it wasn’t entirely your fault."

Her smile became slightly helpless. "Cassandra is... rather unstable when it comes to Damian."

She looked up, remembering the scene from earlier. "Seeing him collapse like that was probably the worst possible thing that could have happened in front of her."

Miona sighed again. "Yeah, yeah... I noticed."

She glanced toward the direction Cassandra had taken Damian, and the guilt in her eyes became more obvious. "Come on. Let’s get back and make sure that idiot is alright."

Serina nodded.

Without another glance at Lenox or Corlan, the two sisters disappeared into the distance, leaving both men behind to suffer the remaining waves until their miserable deaths.
