Chapter 379: Love Is War, Literally This Time

Damian immediately raised both hands in front of Miona. "Whoa, calm down, will you? Didn't you literally say you'd join my harem after dealing with your problems?"

Miona's glare sharpened so much it looked like she wanted to drown him on the spot. "The hell?! When the fuck did I ever say that?!"

Damian quickly pointed at both sisters, specifically at their necks. "Did you two seriously forget? You're still wearing the damn collars!"

Serina and Miona instinctively looked down.

Only then did they notice the collars still resting around their necks, the very same ones their previous selves had voluntarily accepted before leaving to settle their revenge.

Damian immediately spread his arms with a triumphant grin. "See? Physical evidence! You can't argue with evidence!"

Miona slowly looked back up at him.

Damian's grin became even more shameless. "So... what are you gonna say now, huh?"

Serina glanced at Miona, then back at Damian before suddenly laughing softly. "Indeed, little sister. What he said isn't entirely wrong."

Miona frowned at her. "Sis!"

She immediately turned back toward Damian, fury flashing in her eyes, but before she could explode, Serina calmly raised one hand and stopped her.

Serina smiled and gestured toward the chair. "Don't worry. Let your older sister handle this for now. Just calm down and sit."

Miona clicked her tongue. "Fine."

She dropped back into her chair with an annoyed huff, while Serina turned toward Damian again, still smiling. "What you said is true, Damian... but it's also wrong."

Damian raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Wrong? What do you mean? Those collars are still around your necks."

Serina nodded calmly. "Yes, that's true. But that promise was made by our previous selves, not exactly the current us. Still... our previous selves are also a part of us, so I'm not going to pretend the promise means nothing."

Damian immediately opened his mouth to speak, but Serina calmly raised one hand and stopped him before he could say a word.

She smiled faintly. "So instead of wasting time arguing over whether that promise still counts, why don't we simply change the terms?"

Miona, who heard that, raised an eyebrow but remained seated, clearly curious about what her sister was planning.

Damian, on the other hand, leaned back with a grin. "Oh? Change the terms, huh? Alright then. What exactly do you want to change?"

Serina only smiled and raised one finger. "We'll still join your harem, but on one condition. A very simple condition."

She pointed toward Miona and grinned. "Beat her in a one-on-one fight. If you win, we'll join."

Damian immediately frowned. "What the hell?! Fight her? You seriously want me to fight her?!"

Miona's lips slowly curled into a vicious grin.

Damian looked at her face, shuddered slightly, then immediately turned back toward Serina.

Before he could complain, however, Serina raised her hand again. "Don't whine. Our previous selves had already accepted you, which is the only reason I'm making the condition this simple."

Her smile widened. "Just beat Miona, and we'll join your harem. Simple, right? Besides, weren't you the one constantly boasting that you were the strongest?"

Serina gestured toward herself and Miona. "Remember, Damian. We're not just the weak sisters you used to flirt with anymore. We are the Twin Empresses of the [Twin Heaven-Abyss Sea Palace]."

Miona stood up and cracked her knuckles, her grin becoming even more dangerous. "Sis is right. Our identities are completely different now."

She pointed a finger straight at Damian. "If you want me to bow my head and join your harem, then prove you're worthy and beat me yourself."

Miona leaned forward slightly, staring directly into his eyes. "Or what? Is the great Damian, leader of the Forbidden Immortal Harem, actually too fucking scared to fight me?"

Cassandra suddenly burst out laughing from the side, making Damian turn toward her in disbelief. "Why the hell are you laughing now?"

She simply waved him off with a smile. "Nothing. I'm just relieved. They're still themselves, so I don't need to stay on guard anymore."

Serina smiled and nodded. "That's right, Cassandra. There's no need to worry. We're still the same Miona and Serina... just stronger."

Cassandra nodded, then turned back toward Damian. "Yeah, I know. And that's exactly why what they're asking is reasonable."

She pointed toward Miona. "If you really want them to join your harem, then beat her. You're the leader of the harem, aren't you?"

Damian frowned. He never expected Cassandra, his most unhinged, loyal, basically yandere partner, to actually side with them on this.

In the end, he could only look at the system again.

---

[Miona Favorability: 60]

[Serina Favorability: 75]

---

Damian was slightly surprised to see Serina's Favorability had already climbed back to 75.

Maybe now that she had fully calmed down and her memories had completely fused, her feelings toward him had stabilized again.

As for Miona...

Still 60.

Damian glanced at her smug, combative expression and sighed inwardly.

Yeah. Considering her original personality, that honestly felt about right.

Miona stared at Damian while cracking her knuckles. "Well? What are you going to do, Damian? Are we fighting or not?"

Damian looked at her and sighed. "Fine, fine. I'll fight you. This is going to be really fucking annoying."

Miona's grin widened. "Heheh... annoying? Of course not. This is going to be fun. I've wanted to punch that smug face of yours for a very long time, you know?"

Damian ignored her and silently prayed that everything he had gathered from the System so far would be enough to deal with this crazy woman.

They then moved farther out onto the dried seabed, preparing for their fight.

Meanwhile, Cassandra and Serina remained seated at the table as if they were about to watch some kind of entertainment.

Serina calmly formed two cups and a small teapot from water before pouring them both a drink. "Please, have some tea, Sister Cassandra."

Cassandra paused, then looked at her with an amused smile. "Oh? Already calling me 'sister'? Did you secretly accept becoming part of his harem already?"

Serina only smiled. "Maybe yes, maybe no. But regardless of what happens, I can still call you sister, can't I?"

Cassandra laughed. "Of course, of course. Who wouldn't want an ancient Empress as a sister?"

She picked up the cup and turned her gaze back toward Damian and Miona. "Now this should be interesting. I really want to see just how strong you two have become."

Serina's calm smile turned slightly playful. "And I want to see how strong Damian truly is. I've never actually seen him fight seriously before."

Cassandra's grin immediately became far more unhinged. "Same. Maybe today we finally get to see what that shameless pervert has really been hiding."

Serina took a quiet sip of tea. "Then let's hope Miona beats it out of him."
