Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 322: Damian Still Has Standards
Damian casually looked over the surviving women one by one while quietly checking each of them through the system.
A moment later, a trace of disappointment appeared on his face.
"Huh... only one of them has a multiplier?"
His gaze briefly settled on one particular woman before casually moving away again.
"Damn. Finding high-multiplier women really is getting harder."
Not only did they need the potential to become villainesses in the future, but they also had to be virgins in order to possess a multiplier.
Damian scratched his cheek beneath his mask.
"Well... I guess that makes sense. These are demonic sect disciples. They probably aren’t exactly living like innocent maidens."
He quietly sighed before finally returning his attention to the interrogation. "Alright. Simple question."
Damian stepped closer to the captives. "What the fuck happened between the Nether Blood Moon Sect and the Blue Mist Sect? Why did your sect suddenly attack them?"
The woman standing closest to him immediately glared at him with undisguised hatred. "Go fuck yourself. We won’t tell you anything."
Damian simply stared at her for a moment before suddenly sweeping his hand across her neck.
A second later, the woman’s head separated cleanly from her neck.
Blood sprayed through the air as her head rolled across the ground, followed shortly by her collapsing body, terrifying the remaining women.
Damian casually flicked the blood from his fingers as though he had merely swatted away an annoying insect.
The system had shown no multiplier above that woman’s head, and frankly... she wasn’t even that beautiful.
At that moment, Damian’s actions shocked Cassandra and the others. None of them had expected him to do something like this.
They knew Damian was a shameless pervert who was always flirting with women, but they never expected him to kill one without even the slightest hesitation.
Linsey stared at Damian as though she had just witnessed something impossible. "Master..."
Helena blinked several times, momentarily unsure whether she had actually seen that correctly.
Even Cynthia lost some of her usual composure. "You... actually killed a woman?"
Evelyn silently glanced toward the headless corpse before looking back at Damian with a strange expression.
Cassandra, meanwhile, stared for several seconds before letting out an amused chuckle.
Damian turned toward his harem and spread his hands helplessly. "Come on. Don’t look at me like that."
Linsey immediately pointed at the corpse. "You always spare beautiful women!"
Damian clicked his tongue. "I have standards, not some fucking divine oath against killing women."
That response made Cassandra laugh even harder, and even Evelyn’s lips twitched slightly, though she quickly suppressed the reaction.
Damian turned back toward the remaining captives and casually pointed toward the headless corpse. "Now."
His voice became noticeably calmer. "Anyone else want to tell me to go fuck myself?"
The remaining women immediately shut their mouths and lowered their heads, terrified that accidentally making eye contact might somehow get them killed too.
Damian gave a satisfied nod before crouching in front of them. "Good. Now let’s try this again."
He rested one arm loosely over his knee. "Why did the Nether Blood Moon Sect attack the Blue Mist Sect?"
The women exchanged nervous looks, not daring to speak but also not daring to stay silent.
Talking might get them killed, but refusing to answer might get them killed too.
Eventually, one woman swallowed nervously and spoke. "It started with the spies we planted inside the Blue Mist Sect."
Damian’s relaxed posture immediately changed slightly, and he stayed quiet to hear her out.
The woman continued, "They managed to obtain a large amount of information for us."
Cynthia placed a hand beneath her chin, her expression becoming thoughtful. "Your sect believed that information was enough to justify launching a full-scale attack?"
The woman reluctantly nodded. "Our sect has been trying to expand its influence for several years. The Blue Mist Sect was considered a suitable target."
Damian tilted his head. "Why them specifically? Isn’t there any other sect weaker than them?"
The woman explained, "We don’t want anything weaker. It simply wouldn’t be worth the effort. The Blue Mist Sect is a mid-tier sect, and they’re also quite nearby, so they’re worth the trouble."
She hesitated briefly, seemingly deciding how much information she could safely reveal before continuing. "More importantly, this war is officially considered a conflict between only our two sects."
Damian raised an eyebrow at that.
The woman quickly elaborated. "As long as neither side brings in outside factions, the surrounding powers normally won’t interfere. Sect wars like this aren’t particularly unusual."
Her voice became quieter. "Something like this happens all the time. As long as the conflict doesn’t threaten the interests of the larger powers, they usually don’t care."
Damian slowly nodded as he pieced everything together. "So basically... your sect wanted to expand its territory, so they planted spies inside the Blue Mist Sect."
Damian gestured toward the battlefield around them, where corpses from both factions still covered the ground.
"Once you had enough information, your sect figured the Blue Mist Sect was weak enough to swallow, so you just fucking attacked them and tried to take everything."
The woman remained silent for a second before finally admitting, "That’s basically it."
Damian stared at her for several seconds before finally sighing in disappointment.
Helena glanced toward him and raised an eyebrow. "Huh? What’s the matter, Master?"
Damian stood up and casually dusted off his clothes. "Nothing. I just never expected it to be like this."
He looked back at the dead body, then toward the distant battlefield. "At first, I thought this war was because of some ancient grudge, a stolen inheritance, or some heaven-defying treasure everyone wanted, but..."
Damian sighed again and looked to the side. "Turns out it’s just a fucking territory war."
Cassandra walked beside him and chuckled softly. "Disappointed?"
Damian rubbed his chin. "A little. I was hoping for something interesting, but instead, it’s just this kind of news."
Cynthia gave him a flat look. "Two sects slaughtering each other over territory isn’t interesting enough?"
Damian glanced at the countless corpses scattered around them. "Not by cultivation-world standards."
