Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 321: Shameless, Horny, and Rich
Damian noticed that Cassandra was still staring at Evelyn’s bow and finally raised an eyebrow. "What’s the matter?"
Cassandra pointed toward the [Glacial Starfall Bow]. "That weapon... it’s King Grade, right?"
Damian nodded casually. "Yeah."
For once, Cassandra didn’t immediately joke about it. She studied the bow for several seconds before letting out a low whistle. "To think I’d see another King Grade weapon so soon after my own finally evolved."
Her hand briefly moved toward her stomach, lightly rubbing the place where her sword now rested within her body.
Ever since her rebirth, she and the weapon had already fused together completely, making it almost feel like an extension of herself.
Even with her current Peak Nascent Soul cultivation, Cassandra understood exactly how absurdly rare King Grade weapons were.
Something like that wasn’t supposed to appear in the hands of ordinary cultivators so casually.
Cynthia suddenly stepped forward. "Mistress Cassandra."
Cassandra turned toward her. "Hmm?"
Cynthia spoke in her usual calm tone, almost as though what she was about to say was completely normal. "Actually... all four of us have King Grade weapons."
Silence.
Cassandra froze.
Her crimson-black eyes slowly moved from Cynthia to Linsey, then Helena, and finally Evelyn. "All four?"
Linsey immediately nodded with obvious pride. Helena gave a short nod, while Evelyn simply lifted her [Glacial Starfall Bow] slightly higher as proof.
For perhaps the first time since her rebirth, Cassandra looked genuinely stunned.
She had already expected Damian to possess ridiculous treasures. The bastard had always been suspiciously lucky, impossibly resourceful, and full of secrets he refused to explain.
But giving away four King Grade weapons was on an entirely different fucking level.
Worse, he had casually handed them to the women in his harem as though King Grade treasures were gifts he could simply toss around whenever he felt like it.
Cassandra slowly turned toward Damian.
Damian noticed the look and immediately puffed out his chest. "What?"
She remained silent for another moment before suddenly bursting into laughter. "Hahahaha!"
Damian’s expression instantly became smug.
Cassandra stepped closer and slapped him firmly on the shoulder. "Damian, oh Damian... you really have changed."
He raised an eyebrow. "Changed?"
She counted on her fingers. "You’re still shameless, horny, suspicious, greedy, and full of fucking secrets."
Damian’s face twitched. "That doesn’t sound like a compliment."
Cassandra waved dismissively. "I wasn’t finished."
Her expression brightened again. "At least now you’ve improved in one very important way."
Damian waited.
Cassandra grinned. "You’re fucking rich."
Silence.
Cassandra laughed and hooked an arm around his shoulder. "Honestly, that makes me even happier that I joined your harem."
Damian pointed at her accusingly. "You know, you could’ve stopped after saying I became better."
Cassandra shrugged. "Where’s the fun in that?"
Damian sighed before waving everyone forward. "Alright, enough. We can discuss how amazing and wealthy I am later."
Helena muttered, "Nobody was discussing that."
Damian ignored her completely. "Let’s keep moving."
---
The group continued deeper into the contested territory for another half hour before Damian suddenly raised one hand. "Stop."
Several figures had appeared ahead.
There were both men and women among them, all wearing dark crimson robes embroidered with crescent-moon patterns.
Their hair was also noticeably blood-red, and faint traces of Blood Qi lingered around their bodies.
Damian’s eyes immediately sharpened.
"Those robes... Nether Blood Moon Sect."
Cassandra noticed it too. "Looks like we finally found your demonic connection."
"Not exactly." Damian studied the unfamiliar faces. "I don’t know these people."
Still, finding actual members of the sect was better than wandering around blindly.
Damian stepped forward and raised one hand. "Hey. I’m just here to ask what happened around this region. Why are you people at war with the Blue Mist Sect?"
The Nether Blood Moon disciples surspied to see someone talk to them.
All of them immediately drew their weapons and pointed them at Damian. "Who the hell are you?"
Damian raised his hands slightly. "I’m just a traveler passing through, and I’m asking why the hell your sect is at war with the Blue Mist Sect."
Another disciple immediately shouted, "A traveler? Wearing a mask and dressed like that? Suspicious!"
Damian’s face twitched. "Can everyone stop calling me suspicious for five fucking minutes?"
The male cultivator ignored him and pointed his weapon forward. "Kill them."
Damian stared blankly. "Oh, come on! I’m literally just trying to fucking talk!"
Several Nether Blood Moon disciples rushed forward anyway, their crimson Qi bursting outward.
"Unknown cultivators appearing inside a sealed battlefield don’t get to ask questions! And how stupid are you to casually talk to us demonic cultivators?"
Damian sighed heavily. "Right. You’re all demonic cultivators. Of course you’d just kill anyone who isn’t on your side."
Damian turned toward Evelyn and casually pointed at the approaching cultivators. "Alright, Evelyn. This time, just kill them."
Evelyn lifted her [Glacial Starfall Bow] without the slightest hesitation.
Damian suddenly raised a finger. "Wait."
Evelyn paused.
Damian casually added, "Leave the girls alive. Just freeze their limbs."
Silence.
Helena immediately turned her head toward him with a completely unsurprised expression.
Cassandra let out a low, amused laugh. "Of course."
Damian ignored both of them. "What? We need someone alive to question."
"Sure," Cynthia muttered dryly. "That’s definitely the only reason."
Damian pretended he hadn’t heard her.
The Nether Blood Moon disciples didn’t waste any more time.
Blood Qi erupted from their bodies as they began performing their own demonic arts.
Crimson symbols appeared around them one after another, floating in the air like bloody moons.
Several cultivators rapidly formed hand seals while thick strands of blood-red Qi gathered around their weapons and bodies.
Evelyn, however, didn’t seem concerned in the slightest. She calmly drew back the string of her [Glacial Starfall Bow].
CREAK!
Several pale-blue arrows formed almost instantly, their freezing aura clashing violently against the surrounding Blood Qi.
One of the male cultivators finally sensed the terrifying power contained within them.
His expression changed. "Wait!"
Evelyn released the string.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
The arrows crossed the distance before the male cultivators could even activate their techniques.
PUCHI!
Each arrow pierced directly through a vital point.
Their unfinished blood arts instantly collapsed as the men fell to the ground one after another, killed before they could properly retaliate.
The sight completely terrified the remaining female disciples.
"What the hell...?"
"Who is that woman?!"
They immediately tried to retreat, but unfortunately, Evelyn had already drawn her bow again.
WHOOSH!
The second volley struck the ground around them.
CRACK!
Freezing Qi exploded outward, racing across their bodies. Thick ice locked their legs in place before crawling over their arms and sealing their hands completely.
Within moments, every surviving female Nether Blood Moon disciple stood trapped and unable to move.
They stared at Evelyn with pale faces, no longer daring to act arrogant.
Damian finally walked forward.
He stopped directly in front of them and folded his arms, looking far too pleased with himself.
One of the women glared at him. "What the fuck do you want?"
Damian gave her a shameless look. "Me? I just want to talk to you... okay."
