Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives

Chapter 837 Too Easy

Villain Ch 837. Too Easy

Chaos ensued as the Dark Storm unleashed its full fury. Lightning bolts struck the ground relentlessly, each one finding its mark with deadly precision. The healers, realizing the gravity of the situation, began to disperse in sheer terror. Some frantically activated their home crystals, desperately trying to teleport back to their safe points.

“Get out of here!” a magic scholar shouted, her voice cracking with fear as she clutched her home crystal, her body shimmering with the teleportation light.

But not everyone was quick enough. Some ran, their movements frantic and uncoordinated, while others cast barriers in a desperate attempt to shield themselves from the onslaught. “Protect yourselves!” a healer commanded, his barrier glowing brightly as he attempted to hold off the storm.

However, the Dark Storm was unstoppable. The lightning pierced through the barriers effortlessly, shattering them like glass. Each bolt of lightning paralyzed the players, their avatars convulsing with the electric shock. Their health bars plummeted rapidly, unable to withstand the relentless assault.

“No! Please, no!” a player cried out as his avatar was struck, his health bar depleting to zero.

Allen hovered above, watching the chaos with a detached, almost leisurely demeanor. He observed as the players below were paralyzed, their movements slowing until they stopped altogether. One by one, they fell. Read new chapters at My Virtual Library Empire

Amidst the chaos, a few players managed to teleport away, their bodies vanishing in flashes of light. But the majority were not so fortunate. The Dark Storm continued to strike.

“Someone help!” a player screamed, but his voice was lost in the cacophony of thunder and lightning.

Allen’s smirk grew as he witnessed the final moments of the remaining players. Their health bars reached zero. The once bustling area around the altar was now eerily silent, the ground littered with the remains of those who had fallen.

Once the storm subsided, Allen lowered himself to the ground, his feet touching down softly amidst the aftermath of his attack. The dark energy that had enveloped the area dissipated, revealing the extent of the destruction he had wrought.

He glanced around, satisfied with the result. The fallen players’ bodies lay scattered across the ground. The air was heavy with the aftermath of the devastating attack.

The notification for his daily quest completion appeared, confirming that he had successfully killed more than ten players with a single skill.

[Kill players 18/10]

[Daily quest completed!]

Allen dismissed the notification with a flick of his wrist, feeling a sense of satisfaction.

“Too easy,” he muttered to himself, his icy voice carrying a hint of pride.

With a swift motion, he summoned a Dark Portal, the swirling vortex of shadows appearing at his command. Stepping into the portal, he disappeared from the scene, leaving behind the remnants of his ambush.

Allen made his way to the portal room once more, this time activating his disguise as the assassin, Al. With a flicker of magic, his Devil Emperor avatar transformed into the sleek, shadowy figure of Al. The transition was seamless, his dark armor replaced by the light, agile garb of an assassin. He adjusted his hood, ensuring it concealed his features, and stepped into the portal.

In the blink of an eye, he found himself in Debaris City. The bustling cityscape greeted him, alive with the chatter and movement of countless players. He let out a long exhale. “I should be on time,” he muttered to himself, and began walking quickly towards the center of the city.

His eyes scanned his surroundings with practiced ease. The city was busier than the last time he had visited, a clear indication that the player levels were rising rapidly. Vendors shouted their wares, players bartered at stalls, and the sound of laughter and conversation filled the air.

Allen weaved through the throng of players. His eyes flicked to the various player stalls lining the streets, each one offering a variety of goods, from weapons and armor to potions and rare items.

He reached the center of the city and immediately spotted his companions. Vivian and the others were clustered around a series of player stalls, examining the items on display. Shea and Zoe were a little further off, deep in conversation with an auction NPC as they checked some items available for bidding.

With a smile, Allen approached them with a casual wave. “Hey, everyone,” he greeted, his voice carrying the relaxed tone of someone who had just finished a long day.

Bella looked up from the items she was examining and smiled. “Hey! How was your hangout with your sister today? Was it fun?” she said in a teasing tone.

Allen chuckled, though there was a trace of fatigue in his expression. “Fun and tiring. Azura came along too, so it was a little different than I expected,” he confessed.

Vivian raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Azura, huh? So, how was that?” she asked in curiosity.

Allen sighed, running a hand through his hair. “They also dragged me into their shopping spree. I ended up carrying ten shopping bags. Really tiring,” he admitted, shaking his head from side to side.

The girls giggled at his plight. Alice, with a mischievous glint in her eye, teased, “I bet they tried to dress you better.”

Vivian nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement. “Shopping spree sounds really fun. You should have enjoyed it more, Allen.”

Allen didn’t answer immediately. He just looked at Vivian, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. Suddenly, an idea struck him. How could he have forgotten to ask Vivian for help with this? She might know where Urban Enigma got their costumes last time.

“Actually, Vivian,” Allen began, “I wanted to ask you something.”

Vivian looked at him curiously. “Sure, what’s up?”

“Do you know where Urban Enigma got their costumes last time?” Allen asked. His tone was serious.

Vivian tilted her head, a playful smile tugging at her lips. “Why the sudden interest in costumes? Are you planning to become a cosplayer too?”

Allen shook his head.” No, it’s for the party.”
