Chapter 103 Uncommon Luxury
Villain Ch 103. Uncommon Luxury
Zoe approached the intercom, which was attached to a tall, ornate gate that appeared to be made of wrought iron. She pressed the button.
“It’s Zoe, I’m back home,” she replied, hoping the security guard would recognize her voice.
There was a brief pause before the security guard responded, “Okay, Miss Zoe, the gate is now open for you.”
With that, the gates slowly opened with a loud creaking noise. Zoe smiled. “Thanks.” Then she turned back to Allen.
“Let’s go,” she said, hopping back onto his motorcycle. ππππ£π€ππποΌππ
Allen started the engine, and the roar of the motorbike filled the air. He slowly steered the bike forward and through the open gate. The gate closed behind them, and they continued down the long driveway toward the mansion.
As they rode past the gate, Allen couldn’t help but feel like a fish out of water. He moved slowly, taking in his surroundings with wide eyes. The yard was huge, and he felt his motorcycle looked small in comparison to the grandeur of the mansion. His gaze was drawn to the massive trees that were scattered throughout the property, some of them so tall that they seemed to touch the sky. The branches of the trees intertwined, creating a natural canopy that filtered the garden light and cast a dappled pattern of light and shade on the ground.
The perfectly manicured lawn stretched out before him like a lush green carpet, and he felt his heart beat faster as he realized that he had never been in a place like this before. It was as if he had stepped into a different world, one where the rich and powerful lived in luxury and abundance. He felt a mixture of awe and envy, wondering what it would be like to have so much wealth and privilege at his fingertips.
Allen stopped the motorcycle in front of the entrance. The imposing structure towered above him, exuding an air of affluence and luxury. As he dismounted the bike, he felt a sense of unease wash over him.
Shortly, a man dressed in a butler’s outfit appeared before them. The man’s impeccable appearance and formal attire immediately caught Allen’s attention. He had only ever read about butlers in stories, and now he was seeing one in real life.
The butler gave Zoe a polite bow, his eyes darting briefly over Allen before returning to her. “Welcome back, Miss Zoe,” he said in a refined tone. “I trust your outing was enjoyable?”
Zoe smiled warmly at the butler. “Yes, it was, James. Thank you for asking.”
“Very good, Miss,” James replied with a nod. Then he turned to Allen. “Shall I park the motorcycle for you?”
Allen stood there, somewhat taken aback by the butler’s offer. He hesitated for a moment before nodding in agreement and handing the butler the key to his bike.
“Sure, that sounds great,” he said, still a bit surprised.
The butler took the key with a slight bow and a polite smile. “Very good, sir,” he said. “I will ensure that your motorcycle is kept safe and secure until you require it again.”
Zoe chimed in. “Don’t forget to return the key to Allen at seven o’clock sharp.”
The butler nodded, his expression remaining unchanged. “Certainly, Miss Zoe,” he replied. “I will make sure to have the key and the vehicle ready for you at the appointed time.”
Zoe took Allen’s hand and pulled him inside the mansion, excitement radiating from her. Allen couldn’t help but follow her. The interior of the mansion was decorated with intricate details, from the chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings to the polished marble floors.
Zoe turned to Allen with a grin on her face. “Let’s have dinner first,” she said. “My mom should be down any minute now. We can wait in the dining room.”
Allen glanced at the clock on the wall, the hands almost reaching 7.00 PM. Nodding his head, he turned to Zoe and said, “Yeah, I think that’s a good idea.” They still had some time before logging in, and he hadn’t had anything to eat yet.
Zoe beamed at him, delighted that he had accepted her invitation. “Great!”
She led Allen to the dining room, which was adorned with elegant furnishings and a large wooden table.
They were greeted by two servants standing at the entrance, ready to assist them. The servants, both dressed impeccably in black suits with white gloves, immediately pulled out chairs for them, motioning for them to sit down.
“Thank you,” Allen said with a nod of appreciation as he took his seat.
He intended to remove his leather jacket before he sat down, but before he could even begin, one of the servants had already stepped forward to help him. The servant nimbly removed the jacket from Allen’s shoulders and held it for him, expertly folding it and placing it on the back of his chair.
Zoe, who had grown up in this environment, simply smiled and took her seat, as if this were all perfectly normal. Then she quickly called out to the maid, a middle-aged woman dressed in a neat uniform. “Could you prepare dinner for us now, please? And could you also let my mother know that we have a guest?” she asked.
The maid nodded respectfully and scurried off to the kitchen to start preparing the meal. Zoe then turned to Allen and smiled, “I hope you like home-cooked meals.”
Allen smiled back, feeling grateful for the warm hospitality he was receiving. “I’m sure it’ll be amazing. Thank you so much for having me over,” he replied. Allen felt a bit nervous about the whole situation. He wasn’t used to this kind of luxury.
Zoe, on the other hand, was beaming with excitement and seemed to be enjoying the whole experience of her special guest. “Nervous?” She smiled at Allen, taking in his slightly nervous expression. She found it endearing, and it made her feel a bit mischievous. After all, she couldn’t help but think of this as a bit of revenge after Allen had made her nervous at the coffee shop earlier.
