Chapter 102 Do You Want To Stay For A Night?
Villain Ch 102. Do You Want To Stay For A Night?
The wind rushed past Zoe’s face. Every time he turned a corner or accelerated; her heart skipped a beat. It was exhilarating and terrifying all at once. She had never ridden on a motorcycle before, and the sensation of moving so fast without the protection of a car made her heart race. Her grip on Allen’s waist became tighter as he sped up, navigating the streets with ease.
Zoe couldn’t help but feel a little embarrassed at her reaction. She was used to a life of luxury, with chauffeur-driven cars and high-end restaurants. Riding on the back of a motorcycle was not something she ever imagined herself doing. But she had to admit, it was exhilarating.
Despite her nervousness, Zoe couldn’t help but enjoy the thrill of the ride. The city lights flashed by in a blur, creating a mesmerizing sight. She felt like she was in a movie, experiencing something she had only seen on screen before.
At one point, Allen took a sharp turn, causing Zoe to let out a small gasp. She could feel her hands shaking slightly. She didn’t want to look like a scaredy-cat in front of Allen.
As they approached Zoe’s neighborhood, Allen slowed down, and she could feel the tension in her body start to dissipate. She took a deep breath and tried to calm her nerves.
They arrived at Zoe’s house’s gates, Allen couldn’t help but feel stunned by the grandeur of it all. The mansion before them was magnificent, with a towering gate that seemed to reach the sky. Its design was intricate and elegant, the kind of architecture that could only be afforded by the wealthy. Allen had always known that Zoe and Shea were rich, but seeing the sheer scale of their wealth left him in awe. He wondered why Zoe and her mother still hung out with him and his friends, knowing that they didn’t have nearly as much money as they did. πΌπ―ππ₯οΌππ¨πΊ
But then again, it wasn’t something that people usually talked about. Zoe seemed to sense his surprise and gave him a small smile as if to say that it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Allen came to a stop just outside the gates, the motorcycle’s engine still humming. ‘Ah… sure, that’s why Shea asked me to be her virtual sugar baby,’ he thought. With this wealth, of course, she could get it easily. Yet the thought of sacrificing his freedom and will for that was not attractive to him. He was never interested in having a collar around his neck.
Zoe got off the motorcycle, she removed her helmet and handed it over to Allen. She shook her head, her hair cascading down her neck. “Thanks for the ride, Allen. It was fun,” she said with a smile.
Allen smiled back, feeling a sense of satisfaction at having given Zoe a good time. “No problem, Zoe. I’m glad you enjoyed it.”
Zoe then turned to him and said, “Hey, would you like to come in for a bit? I’m sure my mom would love to meet you.”
Allen glanced at her mansion. Indeed this would be interesting, but somehow with his appearance, he felt out of place. He felt like an outsider, a mere commoner, in the presence of such grandeur. It was as though he were a member of a motorcycle gang who had somehow managed to capture a princess’ heart. He couldn’t help but chuckle at the absurdity of the thought.
“Maybe next time,” he said with a smile. “We made a promise, remember? I don’t want to keep the others waiting too long.”
Zoe’s expression faltered for a moment, but she quickly recovered. “We have a spare VR device,” she said, her voice laced with hope. “You can join us online.”
“But what about—” he wasn’t finished with his words, but Zoe interrupted him.
“Also, we can have dinner together,” Zoe replied eagerly. “And if it gets too late, we have a night robe and a maid who can wash your clothes for tomorrow. Plus, we have several guest rooms. You can stay here and come back in the morning after breakfast.” After all the fun, the ice between her and Allen had broken, Zoe felt comfortable with him so she could speak her mind more easily. It was much better than before.
Allen was taken aback by Zoe’s generosity. He had never been treated like this before, not even by his own family. It was as though he had stumbled upon a fairy tale, one where the princess had taken pity on the pauper and had offered him a place in her castle. It sounded pathetic and made him happy at the same time.
“But I have to go to the gym in the morning,” he said, hoping to dissuade her.
Zoe’s face fell, but only for a moment. She quickly regained her composure and asked, “When?”
Allen hesitated before answering. He didn’t want to disappoint Zoe, but he also didn’t want to be late. “Before eight o’clock,” he finally replied. As always, he had made a promise to Gerry. Gerry was a marketer so he could only go either before work or after work. Since Gerry was a morning person, he preferred morning.
Zoe’s eyes widened with determination. “Then I can ask the maid to prepare breakfast for you before you leave. So you don’t need to have breakfast with us,” she said eagerly.
Her response left Allen speechless. He couldn’t believe how quickly Zoe had come up with a solution to all of his excuses.
Zoe looked at him expectantly with puppy-like eyes, silently begging him to stay. She was so sweet and innocent. Zoe’s pleading gaze made it hard for him to resist. She looked so innocent and hopeful, like a child begging for a new toy.
Allen felt his resolve weaken as he looked into her eyes. A long exhale left his mouth. “Fine,” he finally agreed. He thought at least he could stay for dinner and say hello to Shea, not for the night.
Zoe’s face lit up with joy, and she clapped her hands together. “Yay! I’m so happy! Wait here for a second then.”
