Chapter 66 66. HORDES III
Noah instinctively moved, while ignoring the dread filled expressions of the others. The beast was 3 meters tall ape in in the peak of tier 2, Noah wondered how he had not sensed it’s presence, though his consciousness wasn’t out.
Appearing in front of the punch, Noah placed both arms forward. When the fist touched his palms, a shock wave exploded outward.
The ape watched in shock as Noah stopped it in its tracks, while Noah raised an eyebrow when he realized that the punch had made him take a step backwards.
“You seem strong. Let’s test that out,” Noah whispered.
Taking a step forward, he dragged his right arm backwards, formed a fist and threw a punch with all his strength.
BOOOM!.
The punch sent the best sliding for a few meters, squshing some weaker beasts in the process. A growl resounded out of the apes heavily teethed mouth.
Slamming it’s large hands on its chest due to the anger it felt for such an ant trying to stop him.
Noah rushed forward as he had seen weaker apes perform this attack.
Leaping upwards, he kicked the apes face sending the large ball of meat flying, further decimating weaker beasts.
Dodging attacks from other beasts that tried to kill him, Noah dealt with such beasts easily, but his eyes remained on the ape.
Truth be told Noah wondered how the ape actually survived both attacks, it seemed he had reached his limit.
The beast roared revealing to the world it’s long sharp canines, then charged forward, not minding the disgusting bursting sound that spreadout each step it took.
Taking a deep breath, Noah inspected the ape.
[Evolved wind ape]
[Tier: 2]
[Level: 49]
[Chances of death: 35]
His chances of dying from the ape were not that high, but that didn’t mean he would be able to kill it easily. He seemed to learn new things about topics he thought he understood.
Taking a deep breath while still killing the beasts around him, Noah glanced at Augustus, it had been more than five minutes since he started, it seemed the man only said what he said, in the heat of the moment.
‘Lets have fun with this guy, and if he isn’t finished, before I am done with this ape, then I’ll have to leave with James,’ Noah said Inwardly.
Glancing at James he saw that he was still going on, but fatigue could be seen on his and the others face, Noah was just an anomaly.
Bending his head downwards, Noah grabbed the ape outstretched arm, punching it with all the strength he could muster.
A cracking sound spread out, but it didn’t seem enough to shake the ape. Noah himself felt like he had just punched a wall.
Sliding underneath it’s other arm, which it tried to slap Noah with. Orange Sparks flickered around Noah body, his environment slowed down extremely, as his eyes blazed with energy.
Throwing a punch, Noah gathered sparks on top of his fist,.
BOOOMM!
The punch hurled the ape for tens of meters, causing it to crash with a loud thud. Staring at his arm surprise filled Noah’s mind when he realized that he had broken it!.
Though it healed a second later, Noah confirmed that peak tier 2 beasts were his current limit. Seeing the ape trying to get up, Noah dashed forward ramming all other beasts in his way like a tank.
Arriving in front of the beast, Noah ignored the hole that had formed on its chest, trying something he had never done before, he punched it with both his hands but this time more than 30 times!
BOOOOOOM!
The collective sound of the punches caused a great explosion, that directly killed anything less than middle stage, even injuring some in that level.
A massive hole had formed in the beasts chest, the light of life having left it’s eyes long ago.
Heaving a sigh, Noah glanced at the messages that popped up, seeing that he had only gained exp, he frowned.
He liked that he hadn’t levelled up, but the lack of levels showed him how hard he would have to work to get to tier 3.
Retrieving his staff from the inventory, Noah’s eyes were cold, when he found that he had left the group a few hundred meters back.
Taking a deep breath, he stored the body of the ape, but an Idea formed in his mind.
Bringing the body of the ape out, he grabbed it’s legs with both legs, as it was heavy. Lightning flickered around his body as the ape became easier to carry once he activated the Speed force.
Gritting his teeth, he started swinging.
BOOOMM!
The air wheezed as the ape passed, killing immense amounts of beasts in the process, immediately clearing that spot, though other beasts tried to fill it up, but Noah didn’t stop with one swing.
Multiple explosions resounded, scaring the others who had not seen Noah for a while, though that changed when they saw multiple beasts being flung into the air like ragdolls, and with this came a weird sight.
They could see Noah swinging the body of the ape so fast, he almost caused a tornado. Arriving in front of them with the path behind him basically cleared.
Noahs voice rang out, “How long?,” he shouted at Augustus.
“Now!!” Augustus exclamained, then immediately after, the clone began to writh in what looked like pain, as Noah had to unplug his consciousness from it. .
Then golden lines shone on its body, as immediately after, a scream so high-pitched that their ears couldn’t hear, erupted out of the clones mouth, overshadowing the hundreds of roars and growls in the environment.
Everything seemed to stop, since not a single sound could be heard, then a few seconds after, the numerous beasts began to rush back into the forest!.
It only took only five seconds for this particular path leading to Crilion to be empty of the once overflowing numbers of magical beasts.
Multiple sighs escaped the mouths of the group, who had been flung away from the unheard sound waves.
They all sat on the ground, in relief, unbelief shining in their eyes, as they had not believed they would survive it.
“That was a good job,” Noah complimented Augustus who only nodded and drank a mana potion.
“We should better leave here,” Augustus announced, the beast from middle stage downward are gone, but there should be a few upper stage on their way, though the mass of beast should reduce their speed.
At that the others jumped up, with resolve in their eyes, they were going to reach Crilion that night, which was actually impossible.
Nodding his head at their resolve, five bottles appeared on the ground. “They are Mana potions, drink it and we will be on our way,” Augustus said.
All except Noah did this, who simply stored it inside his inventory.
“That’s 1 silver coins out of your tripled pay,” Augustus laughed dashing forward.
The five froze as a wide smile appeared on Noah’s face, who also dashed forward to catch up with Augustus. The rest promptly did the same, but with pouting expressions.
It seemed the trouble of the day were over, and it actually was.

High in the sky a hooded figure could be seen standing on a platform made of condensed air.
“They managed to escape. What should I do” the figure said to a circle shaped object that had inscriptions on it.
A moment of silence passed before a voice came out of the object.
“No….Leave them be. We’ve wasted too many resources on them. Anymore and the other noble families, even the royal family will begin to ask questions,” the voice of Augustus’s sister rang out.
The figure who was a man nodded, “What about the mysterious man you talked about?,” the man said.
“According to the information my men gathered. It was said that he first appeared in Mariwa with a group of hunters, where he took his affinity test, and then travelled to Vonol. Apart from that, there is nothing else we could find,” she explained curiosity oozing out of her voice.
“He is abnormally strong, able to defeat a upper stage beast. Should I intercept only him,” the man said with a frown.
“No… Leave him be too. Something tells me we’ll see more of him soon. In the mean time you can go to Crilion, a carriage will pick you up,” She said, then a clicking sound resounded.
The man stored the object inside his space ring, as a sigh escaped his mouth. Then his tier 3 aura flared, as he shot forward towards Crilion, not flying, but running on platforms made of compressed air.
