Chapter 586 586. ALMOST FOUR DAYS
“What the fuck are you talking about?” The veiled man yelled, feeling his condition deteriorate. He didn’t know he could feel that tired. He blamed that situation on his opponent’s strange domain.
Those hundred figures condensed into one and finally, Noah’s figure in the distance vanished to appear before the man.
“I have stolen not only your speed but used your stamina thanks to the fact that you tried to accelerate,” Noah explained finding that his time in that form drew nigh to its end.
“That doesn’t make sense,” the man commented, hissing.
“I do not make sense, but here I am.”
“You leave me no choice then,” the expert announced ready to activate the technique that called upon Cregar’s power. Its activation would push him into the fifth tier. Noah could not allow that.
Flexing his fingers, golden claws snapped out of them in an instant, and Noah slashed at the man’s figure indiscriminately. Turning his upper body into a gory mess in instants.
[You have killed human Level 450]
[You have gained exp]
[You have gained 4 levels]
[Your stats have been increased by 40%]
[You have received 40,000 stat points]
[You are now Lvl 317]
Noah watched those screens appear before him, after which he deactivated his form.
His white skin began to melt away quite literally
Even if it melted into nothingness, revealing his human nature.
The golden barrier around him naturally vanished after that point and Noah’s pale condition revealed itself. πΌπ―π₯.π»π
He furrowed his brows. He could not feel most emotions but he could feel fatigue and pain.
The activation of the speed domain had been incredible. He had emptied his reserves even if he got some other things in return.
Noah did not tell the man the complete truth about his special technique.
It was true that it negated every form of speed from his target within its reach and also utilized the target’s stamina for him to run, but when the stamina of his targets depleted he would be back to utilizing his own.
It wasn’t a broken skill since even he had limitations when utilizing it. The moment he was out of stamina he would come to a halt.
“Maybe when I battle an army,” he muttered; tired, not giving attention to the destruction around. The pillars still existed so he simply left them.
Exhausted both mentally and physically, Noah teleported into his cultivation room. The quasi-tier-5 man had featured a nice blue core which he had taken
Immediately going into cultivation, Noah decided that the moment he returned to the surface he would build the various items, and when more days had passed, depending on what they found he would gather the team and carry out the assassination.
Noah cultivated none stop for about a day and all he could do was replenish his stamina and health. Levels were not gained since speed essence worked on improving his state.
Noah arose with Erolia with him and they teleported back to the underground chamber. He did not find the white-haired lady, neither did he find the box nor the dark beast.
The only thing that was left was chunks of mana crystals which he eventually spent hours gathering as much as he could.
Even after 10 hours of excavating huge chunks of rocks and gathering those mana stones and the chunks of mana crystals that were still usable, the duo could only give up, having gathered an incredible amount already.
The guild would be able to raise tier 5 experts and many more tier 4’s with that resources, he worked for the betterment of his friends.
Noah eventually returned to Tervok’s position and when he arrived within his expanse he could only wonder what had happened since the huge mass that was his body had vanished from its usual spot. Along with every ounce of green liquid.
Scores of elves filled the place so his sudden appearance caught them off guard. However right before he vanished from that spot he allowed erratic bolts to leave his body, burying a huge area in his crackling discharge.
With his power now increased Noah could see the hike in quality and damage power.
He disappeared after causing that commotion.
“Tervok has most likely been exterminated as the guardian said.” Two figures traveled across the night sky. Erolia and Noah.
They landed on the mountain they had departed from before and its snowy nature raged around them.
Noah let it be and sat right on the snow just to think.
Hours had passed since they left the underground world. They had met with two others who briefed them on the situation.
Apparently, they had located the lady in question who was actually within the central city.
They would be moving to rescue her in two days.
The cauldron on the other hand was nowhere to be found. No one they asked possessed accurate information about its location, but at least they had found the lady.
Noah had been gone for almost four days. Of course, they wondered what he had been doing. And truly he had become suspicious.
Thankfully, James remained preoccupied with events within the central city. Apparently, some unplanned situations occurred during those four days.
“I have two days to finish the various items,” Noah muttered even if Erolia heard. She was mostly silent now. He believed she felt useless to him.
“I will need you to go get the recorders as I start my work.”
Erolia nodded and took off quickly, leaving Noah alone on that snowy mountain.
“Three more of those veiled ones to kill and the real deal will begin,” he muttered to himself while silver inscriptions were birthed from seemingly thin air.
Unable to understand why; he sensed that something big approached him. Its magnitude remained obscure due to his limited knowledge. But the event would certainly be a big deal. He felt it in his bones.
Noah started shortly after, diving deeply into his various projects. Their functions were intertwined making him handle almost all of them at the same time.
It took Erolia less than twenty minutes to return with all twelve recorders and she could only sit some spot from him not knowing what to do anymore.
Noah crafted and crafted inscriptions, sometimes discarding them to rebuild. He did so to achieve maximum quality.
