Chapter 571 571. SECLUDED CAPITAL
Noah crossed the city’s gate to immediately sprint out of sight, his departure had been silent; as he possessing the affinity of speed, could break certain rules that had to do with how much force his movement unleashed into the environment.
His affinity for speed allowed him to achieve great speed whilst reducing or completely nullifying the effects of his movements.
Almost similar to the effects of the bracelet of secrecy.
Noah crossed major distances, he had caused Erolia to enter his chest so he needed somewhere to release her into the world.
He traveled faster than the eyes of tier 4s could follow. In short, he was almost invisible. Speeding up a tall structure, Noah arrived on its flat rooftop.
He let Erolia out at that point and they both left to begin their mission. He wanted to leave the finding of the woman and the cauldron, but he figured he’d help out a bit.
“Our first target is Keme, a district said to possess already suspicious individuals. It’s essentially a backwater district filled with different gangs, and requires time from the forces of the order to put those experts under control,” Noah explained to Erolia even if she knew of this information. What she didn’t know was his thought on it.
“I do not think we’ll gain anything substantial. It’s just because it’s closer to us. I’ll tell the others of our findings,” Noah explained whilst he carried her about the city in search of the said area.
It remained interesting how a backwater place could exist so close to the city’s capital.
They arrived soon enough, and just as the reports said, even if the district was considered a backwater district, it still possessed some nice structures.
The moment they stepped into the streets without running, eyes fell on their cloaked figures and someone approached them. He seemed hostile.

All of the others in the combined group arrived at their respective gates and were allowed to pay lesser amounts as long as they entered as one party.
The process remained easy and soon they were all within the large city. That environment bustled with all sorts of levels, but tier 4’s walked the streets or floated above certain heights.
The guards that patrolled the various district were within the third tier, while some had power within the fourth tier.
They weren’t exactly eye-catching as a group, so their movements were unhindered and without commotion. Unfortunately, there would be news that a fight had raged in the notorious Keme district and a cloaked individual had wiped out a whole gang.
The others had at first been skeptical but as information came along the hours and more detail was revealed it was easy for them to believe Aiden had been the one In said commotion. They believed when the news reported that a shorter individual had simply hung around whilst the gang men were decimated by the martial arts of the said man.
Those smaller groups each began their investigation, they all had locations that they could search, but as for the biggest location they left it till when they all came together, after all, the said best location with more solid leads was the capital of the city itself.
And even from the distance, it was obvious to the eyes of all, that the order had claimed control over the capital. Being a relatively large district, the order had erected a green magical barrier that Noah sensed was already in the higher stage of the fourth tier.
The dome-shaped barrier was evident from all points in the city as it shimmered and danced with other colored lights.
Still, that wasn’t all. The barrier remained so dense that it wasn’t transparent, making it a huge green spot In the sight of the city as the district had been built on an elevated piece of land tall enough to be seen from all points. Moreover, its lights made it more evident.
Only permitted individuals were even allowed into the place but mostly tier 4’s.
Getting into the secluded portion of the city meant a person showed potential to the order. According to info and what they gained from the citizens, every day, battles against a certain magical dummy were going on to see if those tier 4’s were qualified to be useful to the elves.
The magical dummy could attain power as high as the higher stage after scanning the individual’s power. It essentially mimicked their exact level and went 15 percent above it.
Many would argue that much difference was a lot, but in the times of war, average-leveled cultivators were cannon fodders for the real fighters.
Noah’s group considered it a fun event when they met that night and shared their various findings but he immediately informed them of his decision to not partake.
They would infiltrate the insides of the capital to find more clues about their target. He would not be joining them on the inside but when James volunteered to take the test he decided he would at least watch his fight before moving on to preparing for the last parts of the mission.
Even if they ended up not finding the lady and the item the last part of the mission still had to commence.
They shared amongst themselves what they had found and Noah happened to turn out with much, followed by the group Davis had been inside. Erod was also within it.
He confirmed that he had been the one to beat up the gangs, but did not kill them. He had also interrogated their leader and had found out a bit.
The man had only been at the beginning stages of the middle stage of the fourth tier but had a special item that teleported his target into a smaller space within the bounds of the city.
Noah had easily shattered the item’s ability on his body and went on to decimate the group without actually destroying a single building. The streets did feature craters, but apart from that the city had been untouched.
The man had been willing to speak and Noah found out a bit about the matter of the various noble families but also about the cauldron.
Only because of what he said did they all consider going into the capital. However, not all of them would go in, as the others would go about searching for the whereabouts of the lady. They hoped to find out more about her in the capital.
Clearing the traces of their presence, the group spread out once again, James would be fighting in two days as the others would enter the capital first. In total, eight of them would be going into the secluded capital.
That same night Noah landed on a certain mountain miles away from the Earl family estate. Unfolding his mental waves he concealed his actions and began working on inscriptions.
