Chapter 552 552. ELDER VELSVON
A white light shone in the skies of Cregar, and the figure of a man possessing long equally parted silver and white hair appeared from the light.
Noah revealed himself in a sky-blue garment and his feet stood on top of wind platforms. He had appeared many miles from the city he and his group had destroyed, but he didn’t care about it anymore.
Four days had passed and he expected his group to have left that area completely.
“They might have returned to the guild,” Noah muttered to himself casting his silver gaze upon the world below. The lush greenery before his eyes exuded stunning serenity. He could sense a few beasts in the fourth tier, but they caused no harm to the world around him.
Noah had arrived at a region completely untouched by the battle, and the area that had been affected had spanned a total of about 200 miles. This showed just how great that event had been.
And the distant plain they had landed in wasn’t even put into consideration. Noah estimated about 65 miles had seen utter destruction. This was mostly thanks to the huge hole the lady had created. Indeed the land area of that nation was vast.
Compared to Cregar, Earth’s land area seemed tiny and nonexistent. If that vast amount of land area could get affected and not many would notice, that spoke of its immensity.
Noah raised his head to the sky and promised himself to take every of his battle way up into the clouds, where he wouldn’t gaze at the ugliness of the aftermath of his battles.
“I should also return to the guild,” he muttered to himself, getting enough of that scenery.
Noah returned to his cultivation room and the next moment he appeared within a vast amount of dark and rumbling clouds.
His figure tore through those clouds to arrive above the floating city, where he noticed a few changes in the air city’s air.
The atmosphere felt somber.
Noah recalled that they were to launch an offensive on a certain elven base and wondered how the event had gone.
Going through another round of teleportation, he appeared within the enclosed area meant for the grand elders. His presence caught the attention of a certain someone and Noah felt the pressure of teleportation act on his body.
He didn’t repel it however and allowed his world to stretch and his eyes to land on a series of golden walls. 𝑜𝘷𝑙.𝘰𝑟𝑔
“I had thought she was lying. But by the gods, you’re truly alive!” A masculine voice echoed in the world around Noah.
He raised his head, understanding that he had not been pulled into the large mansion but a single one belonging to one of the grand elders.
His eyes fell on what resembled a golden hill, as the room around him remained huge in size and volume allowing for that 200ft tall mass of stone, painted gold.
At the very peak of the hill of sorts was the figure of a cross-legged man sitting atop an emerald praying mat.
Noah could feel an incredible aura emanate from that figure. The man belonged to the fifth tier and was far above its bottom.
Still, Noah knew the man for who he was. There was only one bald elder with a face full of beards after all.
“Grand elder Velsvon,” Noah revealed, performing a proper bow.
“Oh, quit with the niceties, we both know your status as a death lord doesn’t allow you to feel too many emotions,” the elder revealed remaining in his esteemed posture. He had halted his cultivation when he brought Noah in.
Noah remained silent at that point. He expected no less from the expert, but that speed was something.
“You’ve changed a great deal. Aiden. You’re barely recognizable. It’s as if you’ve become a different man. Or something even different from a man,’ the elder revealed opening his eyes to reveal the blazing emerald light that originated from his normally black eyes.
The expert tilted his head to the side when his gaze fell on Noah’s figure and he squinted his eyes as though in search of something.
Noah felt that powerful gaze slam into his figure, but the truth of his existence remained on a plane anything merely powered by mana couldn’t properly uncover.
“You’ve always had these special traits, but our minds had somehow skipped them,” the elder spoke revealing his surprise concerning the matter.
“I’m unable to see your core,” he sighed.
“I would normally have unleashed a few of my offensives at a being such as you, but Ezra said you were still on our side,” Elder Velsvon spoke lifting his gaze till they fell on the bright ceiling of that wide room.
“Yes,” Noah replied never terrified by the level of power that expert held.
“I have returned from a mission elder Ezra sent me and my group on,” Noah explained.
“She told me of this truth. All of us in fact, but we’re all still too busy to completely deal with some issues. She’s done a great job already,” Elder Velsvon nodded keeping his blazing emerald green eyes open. That light almost overshadowed his face.
Silence befell the duo at that point.
“There are honestly many questions I desire to ask, but I shall keep them for now,” the expert inwardly decided to cut his cultivation session short. He stood at that point and allowed the light in his eyes to dim.
The elder descended from the hill slowly, until he landed right before Noah, who bowed again.
“I don’t see your group with you, why?” The elder revealed his thoughts and Noah nodded.
“I had sent them on their way far before me, I expected them to have reached the guild and passed on the information,” Noah disclosed wondering if they hadn’t gotten there.
“Have they not arrived?” He asked already preparing to move out or not.
“Oh, they have. I only wanted to know your reason for not arriving with them yesterday.” Elder Velsvon spoke with an ear-to-ear smile.
“They’ve not stopped speaking about your feats. Come. Let’s go see them,” the elder revealed, allowing a powerful force to act on him and Noah, instantly teleporting them from the wide room.
