Chapter 477 477. MEMORIES
There existed five levels of the bloodlines of the Speedling species. Birthed by the Progenitor of Speedlings. These different hierarchical stages were determined from birth. The meeting of two High-Speedlings gave rise to another High-Speedling.
The higher one found themselves in the bloodline level, the more of a natural connection they had with the Speed force.
Due to the purity of blood being higher than the lower levels, higher-ranked Speedlings were capable of enforcing their will on the lower-ranked ones.
The five main bloodline ranks. Were Lower or Normal-Speedlings. High-Speedlings, Noble-blood Speedlings, Royal-Speedlings, and Finally Original-Speedlings.
There was only one who stood higher than the original-Speedlings. And that would be the progenitor of Speedlings.
The Original Speedlings were the first creations of the Speedling specie. Making them second only to their creator. Royal Speedlings were created by toning down the fullness of themselves. The same could be said for Noble-blood Speedlings who were a bloodline created by the first royal Speedlings toning down the expression of their fullness.
So on and so forth, with Normal Speedlings being the weakest and less privileged of them all.
Certain abilities came with their unique bloodlines gotten from the original Speedlings. The higher ranked a Speedling, the more possibilities they could achieve with the speed forces energy.
Noble-blood Speedling and higher were capable of applying the effects of the speed forces on bodies apart from themselves. There were more but this very ability remained one of the more useful ones, but only when a Speedling had reached enlightenment could they properly utilize their natural talents.
Noah felt his eyes tremble and he opened them to allow his gaze to fall on the never changing sky of the Chamber of Deep time.
He made no sound as he sat up and resumed sweeping his gaze on his surrounding. As usual, Ter was floating in the sky staring at him.
Noah stood and felt a new wave of vitality fill his bones and his skin and his very being. He had never felt so powerful before, but more than that, he had gained a lot of info, and the change in his nature was already beginning to expose itself far more vibrantly.
Noah saw the world in a different light. He felt like his understanding had skyrocketed, but that would probably be due to his new level.
Speedlings were different. Far different from humans. Their anatomy wasn’t the only thing but deep to their instincts and thoughts. They were fashioned in a way that spoke of complete dominance.
He felt pride the most. Especially now that he had attained the level of a Royal-blood Speedling.
His body was almost unrecognizable to him. He now featured things he never knew he would.
An example would be his extra heart.
Yes, the Speedlings were so different that from the High-Speedlings rank, there was an addition of two hearts.
Now he had seven in total, and they were wired in ways he struggled to completely understand.
According to Ter, he now had two forms, and both forms overlapped due to his hybrid state. After crossing over into the Noble-blood rank, he was considered a proper Half-Speedling and Half-Human.
For this reason, his extra hearts could be felt even without his transformation.
Noah had spent the last century mostly in a state of unconsciousness. He had never gotten the chance to test any of his new abilities since the last three evolution had not been enough.
Even now that he was Royal-blood Ter had told him about forty years prior that he would need to undergo one more before he could finally not be torn apart by the speed forces energy.
Were he to leave now, only a few centuries would pass before he experienced the same problem. Death would await him at that point.
“Spectacular!” Ter’s voice was loud and contained the same excitement Noah recalled from long ago.
“Did it go well?” Noah’s tone was bland. His eyes swept his body and he saw how he had relatively remained the same. But he didn’t feel the same.
“It went beyond what I expected. You’re dangerously close to the state by which you’ll be unaffected by the speed force’s violence. You simply need one more push. One more evolution and you’ll gain it,” Ter explained, while Noah felt his gaze scan his body many times.
Noah’s features changed after he underwent the evolution into royal blood. His eyes had stopped being blue it black, and now held a dominant silver shade. A bit of blue could still be seen, however. But the shining silverness of his eyes was dominant.
That eye color seemed to enhance his gaze. He seemed ancient and even his now higher beauty spoke of such a reality.
Noah’s natural beauty had gone through a series of evolution. He looked godly.
His white hair featuring exactly half of its volume; silver, fell to the ground. His muscles were more defined. Noah seemed to have come right out of a sculpture made by the very gods themselves.
“Let’s get on with it,” He swept his gaze on Ter, and the being nodded.
“Before we get onto it I must tell you a bit of history. I can tell you’ve been curious about us Speedlings. You will learn of this glorious species you’ve now become part of.” Ter stated, and Noah waved his hand before sitting cross-legged. He closed his eyes.
Ter watched this scene with seeming interest, then his voice seeped into the world.
“The bloodline inheritance you’re about to undergo is what the major part of me planned. Hence you are just beginning.”
“There will be ten of said inheritances, and I’ll explain why in a bit,” Ter continued.
“The progenitor of Speedlings, had nine descendants, whom I explained to you are termed the original Speedlings since they were like him. But were not him,”
“These nine descendants assisted their father in many things, but it would turn out that their death also wasn’t far.”
“Nevertheless. The progenitor had managed to keep their origin which was the entirety of them, apart from their personality.”
“Noah, you are about to become an original Speedling. By taking in this blood you’ll not only be raised to that level. But you’ll also gain the memories of the ninth born of the family.”.𝒄𝒐𝒎
