Noah couldn’t help but widen his eyes in surprise, “Holy moly,” He muttered to himself, before closing the panel, and wiping off his surprise filled expression, then turned around to look at Sandra.
“How much for it?” Noah asked trying his best to remain calm.
Sandra raised an eyebrow at his question, “Do you really want to purchase it, no one has found it’s use, many have found it interesting but none have been able to even lift it, so please reconsider,” She said with care in her tone.
Smiling at this, Noah shook his head response.
Sighing at his gesture, she opened her mouth to talk, “A normal tier 2 lower grade set, would cost 70 medium copper coin but, due to it being useless, we will give it to you for 20.” she said.
“Our boss had ordered us to dispose it after this week, so you buying it is a gain” Sandra added.
A grin wanted to break out on Noah’s face, but he used sheer willpower to stop it. Nodding at the price Noah talked “Add it to my tab,” He said.
“What does ‘tab’ mean” Sandra said, with confusion written on her face.
Noticing his mistake Noah corrected himself, he and forgotten that he wasn’t in a fully modernised world.
“Sorry I meant add it to my list” He said with an apologizing smile.
Understanding flashed in her eyes, “You are buying another set?” Sandra asked, her face finding it hard to keep her smile in check.
“Yes” Noah stated, with a small smile.
Walking around, Noah saw that James had been exploring the shop by himself. Leaving him to his exploration, Noah found something that suited his taste.
It was a normal silver long sleeve shirt and black trouser, but they both had inscriptions that ran across them.
“How much is it?” Noah asked without turning towards her.
Looking at the set in question she opened her mouth to talk, “Ah, that is a good set, though it looks very ordinary, it has a very good defense capability, able to take attacks even from middle stage tier 2, though just seven time, it is also very light and less conspicuous like the armours, adventurers or the royal army wear, it come at a price of 90 middle sized copper coins” she explained.
Noah took a deep breath at the price. ‘900 small copper coins!’, he shouted in his mind.
Seeing his tense reaction Sandra continued. “Though since it is a rule that, whenever a customer buys more than one, they are entitled to a discount, so the price would be reduced to 85 middle sized Copper coins,” she said nodding her head.
Noah’s eyebrows couldn’t help but twitch, ‘What’s the difference!?,’ he screamed in his mind.
Heaving a deep sigh at his emptying purse, Noah nodded and said, “That would be all thank you”.
Nodding at his words, Sandra directed him to follow her.
Seeing Noah’s figure, James rushed back to him, “How was it, did you find anything that you liked” He said smiling.
Glancing at him Noah replied, “Oh yes I did, what about you?” he said in a defeated tone with small sighs in between his sentence.
“Oh, no I already have one, you will see it when when we embark on our journey,” James explained.
Simply nodding at James words, inside of himself, he was thinking. ‘It seems I’ll have to go visit Pascal again,’ he sighed in his mind.
Though the clothes were very expensive, he wasn’t planning to let it get burnt or damaged, since unlike when he was in Mariwa, now he had a spell that acted as an armour, he was only buying it to look decent, and because it looked cool.
Getting to the reception table, meant for the second floor, Sandra directed them to sit on the chairs which faced the reception, before going inside to do some things.
They talked for a few minutes, after which she returned, with a document of some sorts, and told him to swipe his ID on it. π«ππΈπποΌπ¬πΈπ
Doing so, the paper began to radiate Noah’s Mana signature, then she did the same, before handing it over to another staff, and asked for payment.
With heavy heart, Noah parted ways with ‘1050″ worth of small copper coins.
Smiling at the transaction, Sandra order some of the male staffs to pack the clothes up.
The silver shirt, and black leather trousers were easy to carry, but the black body suit wasn’t, it took around nine men to carry.
Noah could carry it, but not for too long, He stored the normal set inside his inventory, faking it to look like it was a space ring.
During his time in the forest, Noah had cut a tree bark and shaped it into a ring using his energy blades, which was really helpful.
Bowing at their figures, while they walked down the stairs, Noah and James exited the building, after he had removed the normal set and tried them on, he had forgotten to do that until James reminded him.
After they got outside, and walked for a few minutes, Noah stored the black suit in his inventory.
The suit couldn’t enter space rings, but it entered his inventory, without any hitch.
Rotating his right shoulder, Noah glanced at James, who was looking at him with surprise.
“How did you do that?, I thought you said it couldn’t enter space rings?,”James said in surprise.
When Noah had told him about his decision to buy the suit, James had nagged him not to, but Noah didn’t even listen to him.
So eventually he gave up, though Noah eventually told him that it couldn’t enter space rings.
Ignoring his question, Noah opened his mouth to talk, “What’s next?”.
Noticing Noah’s intention to not answer his former question, James didn’t push the matter, after all this was only their second day of meeting.
Pulling out a sheet of paper from his pocket, James read through it, before placing his finger on a line, then he turned towards Noah.
“Ah, yes. Have you been to a training area before?”.He asked, Noah who shook his head.
‘What the heck is a training area?’ Noah Said in his mind.
Honestly he didn’t care about the whole schedule that James had made, he only wanted to go test the black suit, heck he kept opening and closing the panel due to his excitement.
Staring at Noah with astonishment “Where were you born?, the forest?,” James said shaking his head.
Hearing the question, Noah couldn’t help but burst into laughter, it seemed sooner or later everyone would find that out.
Staring at Noah like he was a weirdo, “Follow me”, James said, immediately walking faster.
Seeing this, Noah walked faster too.
The walked for a good twenty minutes, the carriages, and people increasing the difficulty of moving.
James brought Noah to a dome shaped building, outside of the building, a name was written, “Shota family”.
Turning towards James, Noah saw that he was staring at him with a ‘I knew you’d ask look’. As Noah could only give a helpless smile at that sight.
Shaking his head, James talked, “The Shota family, are a big noble family, they control a lot of political power and have branches of their mansions, or establishments in a lot of cities, I am not sure how many but, at least this Is one.” He said the last sentence pointing at the dome shaped building.
“From the look on your face, you don’t know what a training area is, so let’s go inside”. James added walking towards the door.
Getting to the door, there were four men, all of them wearing different attires, but there was an identical crest on their chests.
Requesting for their ID’s, Noah received weird looks, probably due to his clothes, he had not gotten time to change yet, he also overlooked the surprised glances, being shot at him when they saw his information.
Though he couldn’t blame them, all four of them were still in tier 1 after all.
Shaking his head lightly, after he had collected his ID, Noah and James proceeded to enter the building.
