Chapter 164 164. ABNORMAL

Noah’s aura-less figure walked towards the bar-table with steps audible to everyone, due to the pin-drop silence.

Each person he walked past felt their whole bodies quiver in instinctive fear.

And their faces remained pointed towards the ground as cold sweat accumulated on their backs.

Noah’s beautiful face, although half covered, had quickly become terrifying to those closer to him. Their human survival instincts screamed at them to leave, but they found their legs unwilling to move.

Was it the beer, or their unknown source of fear, they knew not. All that could be done was hope nothing too strange happened.

Noah had already unfolded his consciousness the instant he stepped into the bar, and his mind completely disregarded their power-levels.

With a single thought every single one of them could perish, as their peak tier 1 power to lower-stage tier 2 prowess would provide not the slightest resistance to his power.

He soon crossed the room to arrive at the bar-table; where four Individuals, all men, could be seen gazing at him with difficult expressions.

“What may we get you?-” The man’s words were interrupted by Noah’s.

“Where is the owner of this enterprise?,” Noah’s cold voice rang out softly, but was audible to all present in the room, who felt the hair on their bodies rise.

Utterly startled by the beautiful man’s voice, the bartenders tried to inspect the young man’s power but failed.

Then did it dawn on them that they had a potentially dangerous issue at hand.

“He isn’t here,” One of the four quickly answered. Too quick for Noah’s satisfaction.

“I won’t repeat this again, where is the owner of this bar,” A murderous light flickered in Noah’s seemingly glowing eyes, and the Instincts of everyone present screamed pure danger into their hearts. And the bravest of them stood to quickly exit the place.

But alas Noah wasn’t about to get himself into trouble. His consciousness gripped the escaping individuals and theirs fears vanished, terror replacing it.

‘A tier 3 existence!,’ Their terrified minds screamed.

Most Individuals present had never met anyone with such power, but words from those who had, had been etched into their memories. And the iconic ability was something those within tier 2 couldn’t achieve.

“No one leaves,” Noahs spoke letting his intent to brutally punish anyone that disobeyed, flow out of his figure freely.

Needless to say, the whole room turned into an icy abode almost instantly.

But surprisingly, not one person made a sound, their minds were far too busy to mind that also completely rare phenomenon.

Noah frowned at that sight, he still desired to keep his ice affinity a secret, but he figured that since no one knew him for that ability, he would remain unknown.

Although word would spread about a mysterious individual who had ice as an affinity, he didn’t mind. He would be long gone before they knew it.

This was one of the reasons he had covered his face. He wasn’t dumb enough to let them go on living with half his identity unsafe in their tiny minds.

The bartenders were shivering at this point. Whether or not it was due to the cold or his presence, Noah didn’t care, he only wanted answers.

“He’s in there,” Another of the four men, frantically spoke when he sensed Noah’s intent to make a move on their powerless figures.

The eyes of his colleagues widened with surprise, but they made no sounds.

Actually, Noah could sense relief in their eyes, for they had desired not to be the one to sell out their employer.

Noah tapped his right index finger on the frozen bartable and it shattered. The tenders made way for his figure, and he didn’t hesitate to gently apply a pushing force on the black metal door before him.

His gentle push immediately flung the door open.

His physical strength was simply too much for such light actions to not cause powerful reactions to his environment.

Walking through the red curtain, Noah heard a strangely anger inducing voice yell at his shrouded figure.

“What the fuck are you bastards doing!,” The voice dripping with contempt, cursed, but Noah remained silent.

Noah’s eyes fell on a relatively large room, filled with multiple book-filled shelves.

At the end of the brown painted room, was a red wooden table, and behind the table was man around his fifties.

The individual had grey, but full hair, and his aged face looked riddled with wrinkles.

The man’s facials looked as ugly as his voice sounded.

The old man remained clearly startled by Noah’s figure. Although he could only make out half the strangers face, he felt blown away by the individuals beauty, his body longing for such.

But the aura-less danger the individual exuded, soon overwhelmed that astonishment.

“W…who are you? And state your business,” The man announced trying to get up, but he felt an immense pressure fall heavily on his figure, and with a heavy thud, he fell back on his seat.

Fear engulfed the man’s mind, as he found that his body nor inscribed attire, could offer any resistance to the Invisible but powerful force

[Name: Cespian]

[Race: Human]

[Title: Owner of the Yulo bar]

[Tier: 2(Middle)] .

[Affinity: Water]

[Level of danger: Unknown]

“Hello Cespian,” Noah walked further into the room, his figure sitting on the empty chair before his captivated audience.

“I…if you were sent by one of my rivals, y…you’ll pay heavily for it. I have protection from the head of the city. Consider yourself dead when he finds out about you,” Cespian announced frantically, his pitch reaching an all-time high, when an intense sensation of cold and pain engulfed his mind.

Shock and wonder filled his mind, Immediately he laid eyes on his completely frozen right foot.

He glanced at the only individual in the room, and he quickly understood from experience that things had quickly gone south, and he could lose his life.

Seeing that the vile old man understood his lack of patience, Noah’s voice rang out.

“I’m not from your rivals, I only came to ask you a few questions. Your friends out there allowed me in,” Noah spoke slowly.

He found himself replaying the words of the man who had spoken to him earlier, and felt his anger rise.

Cespian could only nod as he bit his lips to not allow his grunts of pain escape his mouth.

“There was a tenant staying at your property a few months ago, where did he go?,” Noah enquired, his expression blank.

“I…I have more than o..one property,” Cespian replied.

“The one exactly 25 buildings from this point,” Noah quickly specified, and the expression on Cespians face puzzled him.

The old man had his eyes wide open, seemingly in shock, and he soon began to shake his head with a look of despair.

“I can’t…” The old man soon spoke, his eyes filled with fear for something or someone Noah didn’t remotely know about.

“You will; if you want to keep your life that is,” Noah announced, understanding that something wasn’t right.

“I’ll die anyway,” Cespian announced, “I’ll tell you anything apart from that,” He quickly suggested.

Noah felt his puzzlement reach new levels at those short words, and he didn’t hesitate to gain clearer knowledge.

“Why? For what would you die if you carry out my request,” Noah asked, his mind producing an idea he considered totally unsuitable for the situation.

“I was forced to make an oath to not talk about it,” Cespian explained.

“By who?,” Noah frowned, his guess had been right, but it confused him greatly as to why someone would do that.

“I can’t say,” Cespian responded, his voice having been drained of its arrogance and rudeness.

Noah’s frown deepened at those words, but his calculating mind soon provided another idea.

“Will you die before or after you reveal the information,” Noah asked coldly, he didn’t care about the man’s life, all he wanted were answers.

Cespian looked ready to talk, but his face suddenly twisted in extreme agony, while his fatty frame shuddered uncontrollably

Noah simply watched the scene play out with mild curiosity, when a series of red and black inscriptions appeared on Cespians body searing his skin, then his frame suddenly began to swell abnormally.

The old man had started screaming in pure agony at this point, and Noah didn’t hesitate to leave his seat and jump backwards, right before the old man exploded into a gory mess.
