Chapter 134 134. SENIOR
Halting his incredibly rapid steps, Noah’s figure slid for a few meters before coming to a stop, and on his face was an annoyed expression.
Glancing at his core, Noah found that he had used almost half of its contents in the two minutes he used to cross the around 30 miles distance he had calculated.
“6000!,” Noah remarked, ‘I need a far bigger core than this, else i will not be able to fight much,’ He thought.
Although the whole situation annoyed him, he couldn’t blame anyone but himself. Noah immediately decided that he would keep the potion making skill on constantly.
He needed a lot to move around, and even more to utilize his other abilities, so that decision was a necessary one.
“I miss Mana,” Noah groaned, while setting his eyes on the road before him.
He had stopped at his current position because he was already close to the village. He knew this because, he was already surrounded by the massive hills the village was built between.
Both hills were a bit far apart from each other, being more than 20 kilometers apart. π·πβ΄ππ΅.πΈβ΄πΆ
Without bothering to spread his consciousness, Noah began walking, while admiring the serenity his environment radiated.
He could notice that the environment possessed far more mana than normal, but he couldn’t feel how strong it was, though he didn’t care much.
Noah continued his walk for a few minutes, hundreds of thoughts rushing through his mind during that period. He managed to gain a few insights on some topics that concerned him personally, but not full answers.
An eyebrow rose on Noah’s incredible face, when his powerful ears picked up erratic sound waves.
A few more minutes and Noah could hear muffled explosions, and eventually he arrived at the scene of the fight.
A large clearing with an over 50ft wooden gate appeared in his sight, but that wasn’t the most striking detail about the place.
It wasn’t even the scene of two men who radiated power in the lower stage of tier 3, battling a large black ape, that was the most surprising detail.
What really blew Noah’s mind was that both men were being pushed back by the singular ape!
“Don’t tell me all humans are this weak,” Noah muttered as an ugly expression appeared on his face, while he coldly Inspected that scene.
Both men had red spherical cores, though they looked far larger than his. It seemed they were both about to breakthrough into the next rank, but Noah didn’t care. He knew he was far stronger than they were.
Powerful explosions spread out, even reaching Noah’s body, but he didn’t flinch. Both men looked to be far older than thirty years, one having an affinity for earth, while the other had an affinity for water.
From Noah’s observation both cultivators were totally in sync, as they complimented each other’s actions, but were still getting pushed back.
Noah stood in front of that battle for a few minutes, his ugly expression eventually vanishing, a bored one replacing it.
“They are just inexperienced in battles on this scale,” Noah shook his head, then took a step into the destroyed clearing. The explosions from the battle, had really messed up the terrain in front of the gate.
“At least they stopped it from reaching the gate,” Noah commended them, not minding the shouts to escape, from both cultivators.
The ape also noticed his calm figure and didn’t hesitate to dash towards him, probably to hold him as an hostage or something. If it was even smart enough for such complex reasoning.
‘I wonder why magical beast never stop to observe their opponent’s,” Noah wondered genuinely amused, ‘I should visit a library and read books about the animals of this world,’ Noah concluded while stopping the apes right fist with his left palm.
“This is the end buddy,” He shook his head. Digging his fingers into the apes fist, Noah suddenly twisted his body, then threw the beast with half the power his body could muster.
Needless to say; the ape crashed through hundreds of trees while its over 20ft figure shot backwards.
The faces of both men froze at that scene, everything had happened so fast, that they doubted the scene that just played out, did.
“Excuse me,” Noah said dashing towards the apes position. He had Intentionally sent the ape far from their position, so as to not let the individuals witness what was about to happen.
Noah instantly arrived in front of the confused ape, and three large spears made from densely packed air materlized around him, and immediately shot towards the ape, impaling it.
Noah spent around 200SE on that attack, but it was definitely worth it.
A cry escaped the apes mouth as terror spread in its mind. It tried to do something about the large spears’ in its body, but Noah made them explode before such could happen.
The ape died instantly, as its torso was ripped from its legs, blood and organs flying everywhere, but didn’t touch Noah.
A large red core shot out of the apes body, Noah quickly waving his hand to store it. The apes body disappeared soon after, then the men arrived at that point.
Noah turned to face them immediately, and a smile appeared on his face when he saw their astonished expression.
“If you are searching for the beast, I’ve kept it for myself. I hope there isn’t any problem with that,” Noah asked.
“No it isn’t senior,” The earth mage answered with a bow.
Noah showed a weird expression at the respectful tag, but eventually pushed the matter to the back of his mind.
A few seconds of silence passed, before Noah opened his mouth. “I wish to pass through your village, as I am on journey to a far distance,” He announced walking past them, “I do hope you don’t mind,” Noah asked with a cold tone.
“No we don’t. But the head of our village may, as he also wishes to thank you for your help,” The earth mage answered, with a slight bow.
Noah furrowed his brows at the man’s words, “The village head wants to see me?,” he asked.
“Yes he does,’ The water mage replied this time around.
“Okay then. As long as it doesn’t take too much of my time,” Noah nodded his head, “And please do not call me senior, it’s obvious that you both are older than i am,” Noah acted politely.
Both men glanced at each other, until a short laugh escaped their mouths, Noah beginning to get annoyed.
“Why do you laugh?,” He furrowed his brows.
The cultivators noticed his change of mood and didn’t hesitate to straighten things out, “We apologize for our rudeness, but in the hierachy of power age doesn’t matter, only power does,” The water mage explained.
Noah felt surprised by those words, but a smile eventually appeared on his face, “Please lead the way then,” he gestured.
The two men didn’t hesitate to dash towards the village at that point, Noah following closely behind them.
A few seconds later, and they arrived at the gate, but things were different now.
Atop the 50ft gate, Noah could see ten Individuals, their power ranging between the middle stage of tier 2 and the higher stage, non reaching the peak.
‘So they are the ones meant to guard the village, but they probably escaped due to the battle,’ Noah thought while walking behind the two cultivators, who conversed with a man.
Noah could feel the gazes of the ten individuals on him. They had seen his actions, and felt respect for the nigh breathtaking young man.
“Please follow us,” The earth mage gestured at Noah who didn’t hesitate to walk through the wooden gate, he had official arrived at Enil.
