UNLIMITED SPEED

Chapter 132 132. SEVERED

‘Why did I have to get teleported to a different location? The former one was good enough,’ Noah asked the system.

[[The room simply noticed your desire to return to the human civilizations, so it randomly chose an area a bit close to a settlement]]

Noah could only get angrier at that point, causing yellow sparks to flicker around him, ice to spread with each rapid step he took, making the temperature around him drop drastically, while a large rumbling cloud trailed his figure high above him.

The event that had just occurred left a really bad taste in his mouth, but that was all the effect it had; a bad taste, he didn’t feel bad in the slightest.

Coming to an abrupt stop after only a second of running; Noah expanded his consciousness to its limits.

He wanted to vent his feelings on something, and luckily he found two powerful aura’s roaming the forest.

‘After this I’ll plan my return to Vonol,’ Noah thought, while sprinting towards the first aura.

He didn’t utilize the essence in his core, as running actually burnt a lot of it, so he settled for the sheer speed his body could handle, and the results left him astonished.

Noah found himself almost too close to the beast which he sighted to be a large black ape, that released a powerful roar at his arrival.

“What is with these forest’s and apes?,” Noah asked with genuine curiosity.

Ever since he had gotten to Cregar, the most popular magical beasts he had encountered were apes. He couldn’t help but think they had a special connection to that world.

Noah came to a stop, casting ‘frozen prison’ after browsing through his list of skills.

[Frozen Prison[Active]: When activated you create a 20m prison of ice around your targeted enemies, who are within the range of your consciousness. You can create as many prisons as you like, as long as you have enough energy to support their creation.

Costs: 100SE/Prison, Duration: 10minutues(As long as they are not destroyed), Cooldown: N/A]

His mind held the ape as the target, which immediately caused a large bar cage 20m in size to appear around the 30ft tall ape, then he dashed forward.

The surrounding trees were directly uprooted, since the cage needed space to form completely.

Noah found himself suddenly halting in front of the large cage. ‘I didn’t expect it to be this big,’ He raised an eyebrow, ignoring the ape thrashing around.

During that moment, Noah managed to notice that the ice had a yellow shade to it.

He immediately understood that it wasn’t normal, heck he found the casting speed of the skill to be incredible, it had appeared immediately he wanted it to.

After a few more seconds passed before the ape rushed towards Noah, who didn’t feel any fear In front of it.

[Wind Ape]

[Affinity: Air]

[Tier: 3(Lower)

[Level of danger: Unknown]

‘Why is that unknown?,’ Noah asked the system, while ignoring the powerful roars the ape released.

The roars were so Intense that trees close to the prison were directly blown away from their various positions, but the cage stood firm. For now at least.

[[It’s to teach you to rely on your instincts, and not get conceited, as the results may not actually be accurate, since existence’s change, they may also have trump cards, or just be different, like you are]]

Noah shook his head in understanding, while he reminded himself that he had killed beasts that were in the next tier, simply because he wielded a weapon that could do so.

‘It’s troublesome, but I’ll bear with it,’ Noah replied, when the cracks spread on the ice cage.

“It managed to withstand over twenty attacks from the ape, Noah muttered, “Though I wonder why it hasn’t utilized any special abilities.”

The cage soon shattered, and the ape Instantly jumped towards Noah, its fist barreling towards his tiny figure.

Immediately the apes fist collided with Noah’s body an explosion resounded, shattering the ground, and causing the wind to swirl erratically.

Noah found himself smashing through hundreds of trees in an instant, but surprisingly the clothes managed to handle it, though tears eventually began to spread on the garment.

Noah had intentionally not dodged the punch, just to test how powerful his skin was to something on the beasts level.

A smile appeared on his face when he realized that only his clothes had been damaged.

Noah’s foot suddenly struck the ground, as he tried to stop his movement, those limbs digging into the ground due to that.

Noah could already hear the furious march of the ape, but he figured the ape wouldn’t fare much against the anger he wanted to expel, so he decided to attract the other beast to his position.

Noah raised his head to the sky, a high pitched sound escaping his throat, this time around, the ground shook from that sound.

The ape suddenly got angrier, while the other beast rapidly approached his position.

A grin directly cracked on Noah’s face at that point, “Let’s do this!.”

The large ape eventually arrived in front of Noah, as it tried to perform an overhead smash, but failed.

Just before the ape could launch that attack on Noah, a large shadow struck its figure sending it flying sideways. Multiple trees and even the ground being destroyed in the process. .𝘤𝘰𝑚

Noah’s eyes fell on the largest rabbit he had ever seen in his life. Towering over 12 feet in height, black fur and two sharp teeth out in the open, the beast looked beautiful.

[Forest Bunny]

[Affinity: Earth]

[Tier: 3(Lower)

[Level of danger: Unknown]

Although the rabbit was in the lower stage, Noah could sense that it had gone up a bit into that stage.

The ground shattered beneath Noah’s feet, as the rabbit rushed towards him. Long spikes rushed towards him, but he dodged them with a single linear sprint.

Noah’s left foot landed on the rabbits soft fur, as everything seemed to move in slow motion, then its body suddenly disappeared with a lot of trees, until an explosion rang out a few hundred meters from Noah’s figure.

The event had taken Noah by surprise but he couldn’t focus too much on it.

Stepping back a bit, Noah dodged a large bullet of air that rushed past him, his eyes landed on the ape at that point.

The apes body featured rings of rotating air around its arms, from which those large bullets of air shot from.

Noah’s eyes captured three bullets of air rushing towards him, coupled with the incredibly fast but Injured rabbit that was about to arrive on him.

Not a single bit of worry could be found on Noah’s face, as he tapped his foot on the group, ice spreading beneath him, from which several thick walls of ice rose up 30m, in a circular fashion, shielding him from their attacks.

Muffled explosions reached Noah’s ears, while he admired the use of his ice affinity.

Many ideas on how to turn that protection into a weapon appeared and disappeared in Noah’s mind, then he found himself placing both his palms on the walls of ice, essence flowing to make his idea a reality.

Outside of Noah’s protection, both beasts seemed to have agreed to kill Noah before killing each other, since they kept trying to smash their way to their target.

The ape kept punching relentlessly, while the rabbit kept sending large rocks towards the tall pillar of ice, that kept rebuilding its damaged walls faster than the rocks could destroy them.

This continued until spikes suddenly shot out of every space on the pillar of ice.

The ape found over fifteen thin spikes embedded in its body, in which ice spread from, killing it on the spot, as almost half of the spikes had pierced it head.

The spikes stretched for around five meters from their source, but didn’t manage to touch the rabbit since it had not been close to the pillar, and had managed to react fast enough to escape unschathed.

Needless to say, after the rabbit found that its temporary partner was dead, instinctive fear seeped into its mind causing it to sprint away from the spiky pillar.

But not even a second after it began its escape, did the ice pillar explode. A shadow Instantly appearing on its escape path.

The bunny tried to flee when Its black beady eyes fell on Noah, but a spinning disk abruptly zoomed behind its body before it could move.

The light of life Instantly escaped the rabbits eyes at that point, as its body had been severed in two.
