Chapter 126 126. AMASSING
Flipping to to the next page since the first one had ended, Noah’s eyes landed on the first set of words the page contained.
“Now that you’ve succeeded in manipulating the speed essence, let’s move to the topic of this stage.”
“As i had mentioned earlier, there are in total 12 joints in your body which you must allow the speed forces’s energy flow through to begin your body refinement. I shall explain the process below,” The writer the paused.
“This method isn’t the only way to start refining your body, but it is the fastest way. Unfortunately it doesn’t bring that much of an improvement to the Speedling body, but that was never the main goal.”
“The main goal of every beginning process to cultivate the speed essence, is to make your body a massive pathway, capable absorbing the speed forces’s energy just by being in its midst, though a little meditation helps this process.”
“The process of making those joints opening, in which the speed forces’s energy flows into your body, is called the meridian opening stage, the end result of the stage’s completion is as i have stated above,” The writer paused.
“It is advisable to have a person assist you in this stage, since its procedure will be excruciating, but if you don’t have anyone, you’ll simply need to have a strong will to live. Are you ready?. If so, then let’s begin,” The page ended. 𝘰𝑣𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Noah took a deep breath at that point, his expression growing cold while he turned to next page; a lot of diagrams having been drawn on it, with explanations beside the drawings.
“The first key to begin this process is to limit the obstruction of the speed forces’s energy to your body as much as possible, which means all clothing’s must be removed,” The writer started.
Noah quickly took off his ragged clothes at those instructions, his body now completely naked.
“With that done, the next thing to do is memorize the positions of those joints using your mind. Imprint their positions into your mind as it would be very crucial when you start,” The writer paused.
Noah nod his head at the paragraph, part of his consciousness wrapping around his body tightly, while Noah let that unique force seep into his skin, visuals of how his insides looked filling his mind.
A bit of curiosity tried to disrupt that process but he didn’t let that’s happen.
It took Noah barely a minute to memorize the positions of his joints, down to how far apart they were from each other. This was how powerful his mind was.
With that done his eyes fell on the book again. “Now that you are certain you’ve memorized the positions of your joints, I advise you lay on your chest, as the whole process would take place on your back.”
Noah was a bit taken aback from those words, ‘How am I supposed to read,’ he thought, but he soon recalled that he could still see, as long as his consciousness was spread out.
Noah soon took a lying position, the book in front of his bowed head, while his consciousness focused on the page, the live images being transmitted to his mind.
“Since you might not have a partner to help you, I’ll continue,” The writer started.
“With all those preparations met, we can continue.”
“Basically, what you about to do is drill a hole in each of your joints, in which you’ll then make the speed essence flow into. Only that you’ll need to let the essence flow according to how I’ve listed the joints. From your right shoulder joint to your left shoulder joint, then down to your right elbow joint. I’m sure you understand,” The writer explained.
“Do note that you’ll have to let the exact amount of essence flow in each of them, while also making sure that the essence you drew isn’t too small or too much. An error in any of this two would lead to excruciating pain.”
“You might be wondering why you have to ensure that the essence isn’t too small or too much, and the reason for that is because, to kickstart the changes that will begin inside your body, you will need a certain amount of the speed forces’s energy: Too little would mean the changes might not start, and too much would lead to a critical overload which would most likely kill you.”
“The amount needed varies for each person, so I cannot give you a particular measurement. But when gathering the essence, you’ll know when to stop or continue,” The writer paused, Noah digesting those instructions, and reviewing them thoroughly.
“Now that we are over that, let’s begin.”
“Firstly, you are going to amass six ball’s of speed essence. Like I said, each ball’s quantity of energy would have to be what your instincts tell you would be enough for your body,” The writer started.
“Note; if the energy needed is large in in quantity, this would mean your body’s requirements for cultivating are high, but the bright side to this is that, your body would have a very powerful base strength and defense” The author added, Noah nodding inwardly.
Noah’s consciousness expanded to the very limits of the room, his mind calling upon the speed essence in the room, while he listened carefully to his heightened Instincts.
The essence present in the room looked fairly much, as Noah believed their quantity might even be too much.
That line of thought instantly vanished, when all the energy in the room suddenly converged to one point, Noah’s Instincts not reacting in the slightest!
A wave of astonishment hit Noah when images of the completely energy-less room reached his mind, though the runes immediately began to generate more.
A few seconds later and the room was filled, Noah’s mind calling on the speed essence which were more in quantity than before.
An even more astonished expression appeared on Noah’s face when he saw that all the essence in the room converged towards the first ball of spinning energy, again.
Doubts immediately began to grow in Noah’s mind about his instincts. He wasn’t completely sure if he could rely on it any more.
A question popped up in Noah’s head, but he refrained himself from asking the system and waited for the room to be refilled.
He called upon the essence in the room, and they all converged towards the first ball, this time a worried expression appeared on Noah’s face then he sat up to stare at the yellow ball of energy.
Noah could immediately feel that the ball had enough energy to Injure him badly, but his instincts didn’t think it was enough for the process he was about to undergo, and this was only the first one.
‘How am I supposed to know when my instinct say’s it’s enough,’ Noah furrowed his brows in worry. But deep down it wasn’t his Instincts probable mistakes that worried him, no, it was the fact that his body would need more energy to improve, which translated to a slow increase in power.
The process continued for a few more turns, Noah’s worry increasing with each round of energy.
It wasn’t until the sixth round did his Instincts buzz intensely, Noah immediately understanding that it was enough.
His eyes landed on incrediblly dense yellow ball of energy that he had compressed to the size of a man’s head.
The ball of energy almost resembled the sun only that it lacked heat, but it contained enough energy to definitely kill him.
A sigh eventually escaped Noah’s mouth, his mind preparing to call upon the next round of energy, “This is going to take a while,” He muttered.
