"Sis, what’s wrong?" The girl felt a bit flustered but answered truthfully, "I’m at the hospital."

"Hospital?!" Abby Sawyer couldn’t help but feel anxious, "What happened to you? Why are you at the hospital?"

"It’s nothing, sis, don’t worry! It’s just a minor fracture."

"How are you feeling now?" She was a bit anxious, "Send me the address." But hearing her sister’s tone, she seemed to be doing alright.

"Sis, you’ve just started your job; please don’t take time off to visit me. I’m getting discharged tomorrow, and Henry’s here with me now."

Abby knew she couldn’t take leave easily. Angel might not approve; she’s likely still upset. And since Henry was there, she felt much more at ease.

"Send me the address, and I’ll come after work."

Her sister had no choice but to agree, "I’ll text you the room number."

Angel had an advertisement shoot in the afternoon. She walked with Abby Sawyer beside her, striding confidently, without looking back, saying, "You have to observe with your eyes in the workplace; it’s not kindergarten. No one will hand-hold you."

She spoke with a bit of emotion and didn’t look directly at her.

"Alright." Abby Sawyer replied calmly, following closely behind Angel.

Then Angel entered the dressing room, with Sharon following her inside.

Abby Sawyer slowed her pace, observing her surroundings. She saw another artist—Angel’s partner for the advertisement shoot upcoming.

And the person accompanying her should be the assistant.

Abby Sawyer focused on that young woman, observing her every move, watching how she served the artist.

She took the chance to greet her and then asked for advice.

Inside the dressing room.

Angel said to her manager, Sharon, "We can’t keep Abby Sawyer, but we can’t directly chase her out."

"What do you mean?"

"She has some connection with CEO Kingston; it’s not appropriate for us to intervene." Angel acknowledged Abby Sawyer’s looks and charisma, worried about her own status, and thus was being cautious, "But having her stay long-term in the crew will definitely steal the spotlight."

"So..."

Angel turned to look at her, "Arrange it so she leaves on her own accord. As long as it doesn’t involve us, any method is fine, and the sooner, the better."

Sharon, having been in the industry for years, naturally knew what to do.

To drive someone away, one can use others.

By evening, at the Kingston Group president’s office.

Justin Kingston sat in his office chair, resting his chin as he examined the materials Jerry Garcia had just forwarded, regarding Abby Sawyer.

Car accident.

A very horrific car accident.

Ten years ago, due to the car accident, she suffered severe brain trauma and was hospitalized for six months...

Earlier, there was no record of her admission because her identity was unknown, and she didn’t use an ID to check in.

It wasn’t until six months later that her family found her.

In the meantime, everyone had thought she was traveling abroad, her phone unreachable, police and missing persons reports had been filed.

Justin Kingston also received several gruesome photos of the accident scene; seeing them made him feel heavy-hearted. He didn’t want to magnify those images—far too tragic.

So, she’s suffering from amnesia...

The reason for the accident was drunk driving; it was an unexpected incident.

However, the accident occurred at 2 AM; why was she out so late?

This was what Justin Kingston was most concerned about.

Jerry Garcia re-investigated Abby Sawyer’s relationships and surprisingly found she had a sister named Joanna Sawyer.

Joanna??

Bibi who loves cats?

Justin Kingston felt a sense of relief upon seeing this information, closed his laptop, and walked out. He encountered Jerry Garcia in the corridor.

"Where are you going?"

"To the hospital."

"There’s a video meeting later!"

"Cancel it!" Justin Kingston didn’t look back, pressing the elevator button.
