Chapter 172: You know I love you, right?

Chapter 172: You know I love you, right?

Lucian’s spoiled life continued until suddenly—

The Training Hall’s door opened and Vivienne walked in, instantly stopping cold as her eyes fell on the scene in front of her.

"What in the hell is happening here?"

She questioned.

And Evelyn froze.

Evelyn was leaning over Lucian from the side, her face was very close to his exposed cock, lips were slightly parted, she was clearly about to take him into her mouth. Lucian’s back was now supported by a wall, he was petting her hair with one hand, ready to guide her movements and casually eating a strawberry with his other hand.

Yes, he was living like a King.

And Evelyn—

She couldn’t help but notice how extremely compromising their positions was. Her face instantly turned bright red. She couldn’t even imagine what the sight would look like from Vivienne’s perspective, she didn’t want to imagine.

And Vivienne—

"I left you six hours ago, and you two still aren’t done?"

She narrowed her eyes.

Those words made Evelyn react, she instantly pulled back, looking mortified.

"T-This isn’t... it’s not what it looks like!"

She stammered in a high pitched voice filled with embarrassment. Her face was now completely red.

"I-It’s his legs! Lucian has been awake for a while now, but he can’t properly heal his legs because his demonic energy is stuck! He said intense sucking would move the energy better and help him heal faster! I-I was only helping him!"

"Energy is... stuck?"

Vivienne stared at her for a long second.

"Hah?"

Then she made the most ridiculous face.

The woman completely ignored Evelyn, her eyes moved to Lucian instead. The boy smiled innocently, all while still casually easting his strawberry.

Vivienne looked back at Evelyn, she seemed as confused as always.

Then suddenly, Vivienne took out a knife and threw it right at Evelyn’s face at a terrifying speed.

"!!!"

Evelyn’s eyes widened in horror, however, before she could understand what’s happening, the world around her blur for a slightest of second and when everything returned to normal.

The knife was nowhere to be seen.

Evelyn frowned.

Then she quickly realised it wasn’t the knife that had disappeared, she was standing in a different place.

"What...?"

She frowned.

Then she felt someone carrying her from behind, she turned around and saw Lucian standing behind her.

"Lucian..."

She called him out, a little confused. But then, her eyes burned with anger.

"Have you lost your mind!? What are you doing!?"

She asked glaring at Vivienne.

"If it wasn’t for Lucian carrying me at the last seco—"

And then Evelyn froze.

She looked at Vivienne, who was staring at her like she was the most foolish being in the world, then at Lucian, who was now standing, the plaster on his legs was torn open and his legs were... completely fine.

"Lucian...?"

"...I can explain."

Lucian spoke carefully, while adjusted his pants that he just moved up.

Vivienne, however, didn’t give him the time.

"Once he has enough energy, healing an injury like that would take an hour at most.

Even if you took an hour to ’refill his energy’, he only needed one more hour to recover, so for the past four hours, he was faking his injury so he could make you do his bidding."

The woman explained everything.

Evelyn stared at Lucian and Lucian—

"...strawberry?"

He offered her a half eaten strawberry.

"You..."

Evelyn stared at him for a good while, Lucian gulped, fearing what’s about to happen, but then—

Evelyn hugged him as tightly as she could and—

"You should have told me if you were fine! I would have done everything you wanted regardless! Do you know how worried I was!?"

She screamed all while burying her face in his chest.

Lucian could feel her relief through the contract, for a moment, he remained frozen at how intense her feelings were, but then—

"I am fine, Evelyn.

Thank you for everything you’ve done."

He hugged her back, gently rubbing and patting her back.

Vivienne stared at the scene for a good few seconds, that was all the personal time she could give to them after giving them six total hours.

Then—

"Alright, you, come with me."

She spoke, looking at Lucian.

"Where are you taking him?"

"You don’t need to know."

"I am comin—"

"No, you are not."

Vivienne looked at Evelyn with a piercing look on her face. This time, her eyes made it very clear. She won’t be dealing with Starling’s tantrum.

Evelyn looked at those eyes, then she looked at Lucian, who was now fine and she...

"Alright."

She nodded.

Lucian smiled as well.

"You should rest.

I’ll be back soon."

"Mm."

She nodded.

The outside world was told Evelyn Starling was hurt during the recent accident at the Night’s Desk. So Evelyn had all the time in the world to stay in the Enclave building.

This was the place where she was safest.

Lucian gently patted her head again, then, he walked towards Vivienne, who turned around and started walking.

"Where are we going?"

Lucian questioned curiously as he followed her.

And Vivienne—

"It’s time for a lecture."

"A lecture? So why are we leaving?"

Lucian questioned with a curious look on his face as he looked around.

’What’s wrong with this training hall?’

He wondered in his head. Then, his eyes shined as another possibility came to his mind.

’Are we going to new training hall? More training equipments?’

But—

"There’s a difference between training and a lecture."

Vivienne explained and those words made Lucian pause.

"You are... going to give me a lecture?"

He asked, a little surprised. Vivienne sensed that surprise and she stopped as well.

"Why do you seem so surprised?"

She narrowed her eyes.

"Nothing, I just thought you were more about... instilling the information in my body kind of teacher."

Lucian answered awkwardly.

Vivienne start at him for a good few seconds. Lucian just smiled—

"Come on, Teacher~

You know I love you, right?

I don’t mind how you teach, I accept you as you are."

Vivienne remained silent, her eyes never leaving Lucian.

"...alright. I’ll shut up."

Lucian placed a finger on his lip.

"Good."

That was when Vivienne nodded and turned around. Lucian followed her like a good, disciplined student he was.
