VIVIAN

Vivian finally walked out of the interrogation room.

The moment she stepped outside, she saw Vincent waiting for her.

He was dressed in his usual blue military uniform, his expression calm.

Vivian walked toward him. "Thank you."

Vincent waved his hand. "Don’t worry. You’ll be fine."

He lowered his voice.

"They’re going to search your house right?."

Vivian’s expression changed.

"Yes But for what? What are they looking for?"

"Ina’s Storage Ring."

Vincent looked around before continuing. "It has a tracking signal. If it’s anywhere around you, their scanner will detect it. It’s a Storage ring from their Royal Heritage."

Vivian’s heart skipped.

That Storage Ring...

He continued. "I’ll go meet Vega."

"Vega?"

"He’ll make them stop digging into this. You will be free from their suspicion."

Vivian nodded. "Okay."

Vincent gave her one last look before leaving.

Vivian stood there for a moment.

Then she talked to Beeny in her consciousness "They’re looking for Ina’s Storage Ring."

She lowered her voice. "Where is it?"

Beeny blinked. "I didn’t see any Storage Ring."

Vivian stared at her."What?"

"I didn’t see one."

Beeny shrugged. "Seems I ate it, as refined her body. She was very easy to Devour."

Vivian’s eyes widened. You are weird

She said to Beeny. "Go home first."

Beeny looked at her. "Why?"

"Hide anything that could implicate me."

Beeny nodded. "Got it."

They boarded a small Hover Ship.

Before the ship took off, Beeny transformed into a tiny bee.

She flew out through the open window and disappeared.

Vivian watched her leave.

Please don’t get caught. She knows Benny is powerful; only 4S rank soldiers can detect her.

The Hover Ship eventually arrived at Vivian’s residence.

The moment she stepped out, several Orc rushed toward their homes immediately they sighted the Soldiers.

They moved quickly and entered the building.

Vivian followed. But before she could step through the door, one of the officers raised his hand.

"Wait outside."

Vivian stopped. "Why?"

"We need to conduct the search first."

Vivian forced a smile.

"This is my house. Why should I wait outside.? No, I don’t feel safe letting you all in without my presence.."

The Officer..signalled the other Soldiers. And she was blocked from entering. They put up a room Barrier where only Human beasts with Spiritual energy can go in.

She put her hands and found out she could actually pass. But she drew back. They knew she is Zero class and she mustn’t possess Spiritual energy..Her spiritual energy was given by the Lotus and it is limited. She can only use it when Lotus is fed enough.

She stood outside with a smile.. Beeny was nowhere to be seen.

She must have already gone inside.

Vivian hoped she had cleaned everything.

Please don’t leave anything suspicious behind.

Inside the house, the officers immediately began searching.

They pulled chairs aside. They opened drawers.

They searched the bed. The refrigerator was dismantled.

The kitchen was turned upside down. Even the bathroom was searched.

Vivian stood outside with her arms folded.

They mustn’t see anything suspicious. Beeny please do something good this time.!!

One of the female soldiers pulled out a strange metal plate.

It was covered with glowing symbols.

A Metal Plate Array. She activated it.

A circular wave of light spread across the room.

Other Royal soldier slowly walked from one corner to another.

The Array continued scanning.

Nothing. She moved toward the bedroom.

Nothing!? Then...The arrow on the Array suddenly moved. It pointed directly toward the wardrobe.

The female soldier’s eyes narrowed. She walked over. The female officer looked at others. They were concentrated on their own search.

The female soldier opened the wardrobe.

Inside sat Mimi. The little Husky looked at her innocently.

The female soldier almost screamed.

Mimi suddenly opened his mouth. Sharp fangs flashed. He looked very fiercely like a Wolf about to devour another beast.

The soldier froze. She muttered A Royal Wolf!! Her legs were frozen on the spot.

Her entire body stiffened. Mimi stared directly into her eyes.

The soldier’s pupils became dull.

She raised the Array. Then turned toward the other officers. "Nothing is here."

She closed the wardrobe. The others didn’t question her.

She walked out of the room. The moment she stepped into the hallway, her expression changed.

"What was I..."

She rubbed her forehead. "What was I about to do?"

She frowned. "Oh."

She suddenly shook her head. "I forgot!" she scratched her head. "I am done here with this overtime work. I am not doing it anymore.!! Only a dog will do this again!!"

She continued walking.

A few minutes later, the main investigator stepped outside the male soldier.

He approached Vivian. "Sorry, Vivian."

He gave her a polite smile. "Thank you for allowing us to search your residence with your consent!"

Vivian forced a smile. Is he crazy? Who gave him consent.

She asked. "Did you find anything?"

"No."

He shook his head. "You’re clean for now.."

Vivian nodded.

"If we have any more questions, we’ll contact you."

He paused. "For now, please remain within the Academy premises. Don’t leave IGNORA."

"Okay."

The officers turned and walked out of the building.

Vivian waited until they left. Then she opened the door.

CRASH! A chair fell over. She stared at the destroyed room.

Her wardrobe was tilted. The bed was messy. The refrigerator was practically destroyed.

The kitchen looked like a battlefield.

Vivian’s face twitched. "AHHH!"

She slammed the door shut.

"Idiots!"

She stormed outside. The officers were already preparing to leave. Their Hover ship was turned on.

Vivian ran toward them. "Wait!"

The main investigator stepped out of the Hover Ship.

"What is it?"

Vivian pointed furiously toward her house. "What do you people mean by destroying my entire house?! Is this part of searching my house?"

The investigator looked at the other officers.

They immediately looked away.

He sighed. "I am very sorry for the inconvenience."

Vivian glared at him. "Who wants your apology?"

She pointed toward the house. "If sorry could fix everything, why does the Female Federation Protection exist?"

The investigator rubbed his forehead. "What did you want us to do?"

He gestured toward the destroyed house. "We don’t have a robot that can rearrange everything for us."

He glanced at his communicator. "We have more important things to deal with. Please let us leave."

Vivian’s eyes narrowed. She smiled sweetly. "I’ll report this to the Female Federation."

The investigator immediately stopped. "How much do you want?"

Vivian froze. "..."

The investigator looked at her.

"How much?"

Vivian’s anger suddenly disappeared. She cleared her throat. "Well..."

She pretended to think. "You know, Ignora’s currency is different."

The investigator frowned. "And?"

"Things are extremely expensive there." Vivian sighed dramatically. "Even one apple costs millions."

The investigator stared at her. "How much, Vivian Valen?"

Vivian hesitated. Then she held up five fingers. "Fifty million Star Coins."

"Deal."

Vivian’s eyes widened.

Before she could respond, the investigator scanned her communicator.

Transfer successful.

Fifty million Star Coins entered her account.

The investigator turned around. "Goodbye."

He boarded the Hover Ship. Vivian stood there in shock. The ship disappeared into the distance. Her eyes filled with love.

She stared at her communicator. "He really sent that?"

She blinked. "I was just testing him!"

She slapped her forehead. "I should have asked for five hundred million!"

She groaned. "I just lost four hundred and fifty million!"

Vivian stormed back into the house. "Beeny!"

No response. "Beeny!"

She shouted again. "Come and arrange this room!"

She kicked a fallen chair. "Beeny!"

Suddenly, Beeny flew out from somewhere beneath the furniture.

She looked completely exhausted. She transformed to her Human self. Then she dropped flat onto the floor. "I almost got caught."

Vivian looked down at her. "What happened?"

Beeny took several deep breaths. "That scanner was no joke."

She wiped her forehead. "It was a high-grade scanner. It almost detected me."

Vivian’s eyes widened. "Really?"

Beeny nodded. "But Mimi saved me."

Vivian looked at Mimi.."Mimi saved you?"

Beeny nodded. "He scared the soldier away with his cute teeth."

Vivian looked at the Husky. Mimi wagged her tail innocently.

Vivian smiled. "My Mimi is amazing."

She stretched. "I’m going to take a bath. I’m exhausted."

Without waiting for a response, she ran toward the bathroom. "I’ll leave the room arrangement to you!"

The bathroom door slammed shut. Beeny slowly turned toward Mimi..Her smile disappeared..She stared at the little Husky.

"I know you’re not a dog."

Mimi stopped wagging her tail.

Beeny narrowed her eyes.."You’re a wolf. A wolf. I can’t detect with CLAN or Origin."

She slowly walked closer.."So tell me..."

Her voice became low.."What do you want?"

Mimi stared back at her.

"And why are you staying around Vivian?"

Beeny’s eyes sharpened.."What exactly is your motive? We both know Vivian is mean and evil..there is noting.good about her that makes you want to be close to her..Why did you approach her? What is your motive?""
