"Thank you, everyone. I look forward to working with you all." Zane Langdon’s message appeared at almost the same time as Melody Monroe’s.

"@Zane Langdon, Mr. Langdon, it’s really wonderful that you’re joining us."

"@Melody Monroe, I’m so happy to be working with you again."

The two exchanged greetings, and the usually quiet group chat instantly came alive. Many people still couldn’t believe that Zane Langdon had really joined!

Melody Monroe also found it hard to believe that Zane Langdon would take a role in this drama.

After all, the role wasn’t for the sole male lead, and it didn’t even have that much screen time.

Zane Langdon was playing the Emperor of Cygnus, whose relationship with the Princess of Solara was the most tumultuous of all. He was the man the Princess loved most, and it was from him that she learned many of the things that would lay the foundation for her to one day lead her entire nation.

The Emperor of Cygnus, who was supposed to marry the Princess of Solara, ultimately died without an heir.

The Princess of Solara chose to stay in her own country to protect the royal family of Solara, the kingdom, and its people, giving up the one thing she couldn’t have: the man she loved most.

The role of the Emperor of Cygnus was finally set, but the other two male leads had yet to be cast.

Melody Monroe suddenly thought of Shaun Owen and Jenson Yates, who had been on the show with her.

’Shaun Owen has a heroic air about him; he’d be a good fit for the general. Jenson Yates is more gentle and refined... I wonder if he could handle the role of the Princess of Solara’s younger brother.’

The ruler of the enemy nation, Veridia, was supposed to be older. Reading the script, she figured the role required a more imposing, slightly more mature actor.

With that thought, Melody Monroe immediately sent a message to Director Walsh.

"Director Walsh, have the roles for the General and Emperor Javian been cast yet?"

A reply from Director Walsh came back almost instantly.

"We’ve had a few actors audition, but none of them were a good fit, so nothing is confirmed yet. Why do you ask? Do you have someone to recommend?"

"I know a couple of good newcomers. I was wondering if it would be possible for them to audition."

"Of course they can."

"Great! I’ll tell them to head over right away."

"Sounds good. I’ll be in Jansburg for the foreseeable future, so just have them come find me directly."

"Thank you, Director Walsh."

"Don’t mention it."

After confirming with Director Walsh, Melody Monroe immediately contacted Shaun Owen and Jenson Yates.

"Captain! Thank you so much! I’m already in Jansburg, I’ll head over this afternoon." Shaun Owen was the first to reply, his message followed by a string of emojis. He was clearly beside himself with excitement.

Two minutes later, Jenson Yates replied as well. "Captain, I’ll be there tomorrow! Thank you a million times!"

Melody Monroe thought for a moment. ’There are still a few female roles... I might as well have Cynthia Jacobs, Yvonne Lewis, and Nana Owen come in for an audition too.’

She immediately sent messages to each of them.

The girls who received her messages were ecstatic.

"Captain! I’ve been keeping a close eye on your new drama! But I’m just a rookie, and even though I tried, I couldn’t even manage to land an audition. I never expected you to message me! This is incredible! Thank you, Captain, you’re my lucky star."

That was a message from Nana Owen.

"Thank you, Captain! I’m so thrilled! I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight! I’m just too excited!" came a message from Yvonne Lewis.

"AHHHHHHHH! Captain, I love you!" Cynthia Jacobs’s message was even more direct.

Looking at her phone, Melody Monroe couldn’t help but smile.

Keith Coleman knocked on the car door before stepping inside.

"What are you doing here?" Melody Monroe asked, surprised.

"I’m your agent, so of course I’m going to be with you. I just had to take care of a few things this morning, which is why I’m only just now arriving. What are you looking at that’s making you smile like that?"
