The first payment submitted to Zone Two was completely true.

That did not make it alive.

Jiang prepared the written copy outside the labyrinth. He did not carry the logger inside or expose pages containing other names, system terms, relationship boundaries, or route states.

On a clean slate, Hessa wrote one sentence Jiang had already disclosed publicly.

`Lee Jiang told Jiang that he was allowed to come home.`

Jiang verified the wording. Aylin verified that the slate contained no second statement. Hessa ended her copying role. The original logger remained closed outside the entry ring.
