Train Survival: I Can Evolve Everything!
Chapter 814: [Rock Wire Puppet (Level 10)]
Drip... drip...
Cold liquid dripped from high above.
In the vast, hollow world.
A pure white train plowed through countless piles of metal junk, shattering them to pieces.
Silence. Utter stillness.
In stark contrast.
Was the scene within the carriage at this very moment.
Beneath Ye Qiyan's feet, the small cube-shaped robot was fully prepared and about to set off.
"I originally planned to take you around the company for a stroll, but really, stay safe."
He gently stroked WALL-E's metal head, and the seriousness in his eyes was absolutely genuine. This was a Level 10 station.
Who knew if something like Eris's anti-reality Ether Sea ability might appear, rendering WALL-E's Phantom Armor unable to conceal it.
"Remember, the moment you sense anything wrong, come back immediately. That's an order."
WALL-E nodded, equally serious.
The treads beneath its wheels rolled into motion, departing from the train to begin its search.
"Whew... Alright then, next."
With WALL-E gone, Ye Qiyan's gaze finally turned toward the train window outside.
A massive red halo was spinning wildly directly above the train.
On the roof, Eve's weapon slots had already deployed, locked onto the sky above.
Ever since entering this stopping point, she had relayed information to her master.
At this very moment, directly above her.
A colossal mechanical puppet, bound by countless metal cables, its entire body covered in rust, its crimson eyes suddenly blazed to life.
[Hum, hum... Alert, alert, intruder detected. Rock Thread Puppet activating. Insufficient energy. Beep, activating reserve power. Beep, reserve power insufficient...
Error. Unable to activate.
Correcting. Injecting final stage energy.]
Rock Thread Puppet - this name that existed in Ye Qiyan's second option had now appeared directly before him.
Those metal cables seemed to become threads in the hands of a puppeteer, controlling its descent.
The Hunt, coiled around Ye Qiyan's arm, opened its eyes.
No need for it to act on its own.
Dozens of green gear robots materialized out of thin air.
The red-and-white cloud-patterned Dragon Barrier abruptly expanded, forcibly halting that massive thing in its tracks.
At the same time, Eve began attacking without hesitation.
The Super-Gravity Suppression Cannon repeatedly blasted the Rock Thread Puppet's already-broken body backward.
Until it was pinned to the ground, forced to endure the relentless bombardment of dozens of weapons, including the Great Compassion Heavy Machine Gun.
But surprisingly, this broken thing actually withstood Eve's firepower, and with those steel cables pulling it, it could even resist the gravitational pressure.
"Eve, cut the cables above it."
The order was given.
Without hesitation, Eve drew the Eternal Cutter and transformed it into its long-blade form. Her rabbit ears swiveled, and her legs shifted into two razor-sharp blades.
She danced through the air, turning into a shooting star, and within a few strokes, she had severed those cables.
Deprived of its controller, the Rock Thread Puppet crashed heavily to the ground, yet the red light in its eyes still flickered with unwillingness.
It opened its enormous mouth, shaped like a shovel loader's hopper, and from within extended a massive cannon barrel, aiming directly at Ye Qiyan's train.
But before the attack could be unleashed from the cannon.
Eve had already sliced its entire head off and chopped it into pieces.
[Rock Thread Puppet (Level 10)]
[Status: Massive Damage]
[Eternal Binding already established with its master]
[A mysterious mechanical lifeform guarding this place. Its master has long since vanished to parts unknown, yet it has waited here for countless ages, persisting until now without any supply]
[Status: Dead]
"Level 10, but already eternally bound."
Ye Qiyan stepped off the train.
Looking at a broken core inside the Rock Thread Puppet's sliced-open body, he shook his head with some regret.
"The core is completely ruined, and the mind unit too. I doubt even the Processing Station could recover anything worthwhile from this. In that case."
A crisp snap of his fingers echoed through the space.
"Fresh spoils the moment we arrive. Hey, Gluttony, dinner's served."
The viscous silver-white slime dropped from the [Demon Card·Gluttony] pinched between his index and middle fingers.
But just letting it eat like this wouldn't do.
This thing was too severely damaged, and Eve had cut it up so many times. Even if Gluttony converted it, it probably wouldn't yield much combat power.
So, a few simple repairs were needed first.
[Overdrive Command]
[Puppeteer Machinery]
Ye Qiyan swung his arms, and all the mechanical parts belonging to the Rock Thread Puppet flew in from all directions.
He was like an elegant conductor.
The broken mechanical fragments were note after note.
Or perhaps like pieces of scattered building blocks.
Under his control, these parts and fragments assembled according to their original form.
Finally, after barely restoring its appearance, the Gluttony Slime's fluid covered the massive thing entirely and began digesting it.
"Today's a good day. Just arrived at the Station World and already got a pleasant surprise. Hey, looks like this station's got plenty of profit to be made."
Gluttony returned to the card to digest slowly, and Ye Qiyan smiled as he stored it back in the Void Card Repository.
"Alright, time to explore. First, let's figure out where this place is. The RUN Company's abandoned headquarters building... it's actually underground?"
Nano Giant Sting Bees flew out from the beehive.
Ye Qiyan also glanced at the contents of the Sand Table.
On it, there was a red light dot.
If it wasn't a mission station, then that dot was probably this station's hunting target.
"Oh, the Sand Table actually works properly today. I was starting to think it was time to retire it. Let's go, first figure out the situation here and find the exit. After all, I did promise to meet up with someone."
The Nano Giant Sting Bees scouted the surroundings for a while, and soon constructed a 3D map for Ye Qiyan through the swarm's queen.
This was indeed a towering skyscraper with a full nine hundred floors.
But where it was located was deep within an underground world.
The Nano Giant Sting Bees had even traveled to the very top floor and dug upward for a while, yet still couldn't escape this place.
So it was difficult to determine just how deep this place went.
Moreover.
The Nano Giant Sting Bees also discovered many corpses in various floors that had been gnawed down to nothing but bones by earthworms and other crawling creatures. Based on their condition, they had been dead for quite a number of years.
And if anyone approached these skeletal corpses or made a loud enough sound, they would awaken and charge toward the source of the noise.
"A real odd place. Nine hundred floors, huh? Going up floor by floor wouldn't be bad, but..."
The Armament Hangar slowly unfolded.
One formidable mech-soldier after another launched forth.
Ye Qiyan raised his hand, pointing at that oppressive, empty ceiling high above.
"Charge up. I want to see just how deep this place really goes."
