Chapter 1326: Chapter 1326: Push Him Hard

"But Mason Nightshade didn’t agree."

"Push him a bit."

The hacker was stunned, instantly understanding Alaric Wood’s meaning, and turned to operate on the keyboard.

...

Mason Nightshade returned to his residence; it was already late at night.

Lennox Quinn was sitting on the living room sofa reading a book. Upon hearing the noise, he looked back, glanced at the table, and gestured with his eyes, "It’s for you."

On the table was a file envelope.

Mason Nightshade’s steps halted, and a sudden ominous premonition arose in his heart, his fingers trembling as he opened the file envelope.

Pulling out the papers inside, Mason’s expression suddenly changed, and his gaze turned cold.

Lennox had anticipated what was inside.

The envelope had the words "Court Summons" written in large letters; who would dare sue Mason Nightshade? There was only one reason he would receive a court summons.

"Sigh." Lennox sighed, "She is so persistent, why don’t you just let go? Continuing this entanglement will be painful for both of you."

"Impossible!"

Mason almost instantly replied, his brain throbbing with an explosive pain, and he pressed hard against his temples.

"I’m a bit tired, I’m going upstairs first."

Watching Mason’s retreating figure, Lennox said, "Even if you tear up that summons, throw it away, the matter of her filing for divorce won’t disappear."

"I will not appear in court," Mason gritted his teeth and said.

Lennox shook his head, "You know this will come to a conclusion sooner or later, whether you show up or not makes no difference."

Someone will help you get this done.

Lennox didn’t say this out loud.

He believed Mason understood.

After Mason went upstairs, Lennox’s gaze turned toward a certain spot, and Junia Simpson pushed the door open and came out.

Lennox rolled up his sleeves, revealing an injured arm, "You’re avoiding him, but are you also blaming him in your heart?"

Junia had also experienced that mission, she faced what Grayson Quinn had faced.

Sometimes he envied Grayson, being able to choose the life he wanted.

But he couldn’t; he carried the future of the Quinn Family on his shoulders. If he left, these responsibilities would fall on Grayson.

He didn’t want his brother to bear these things.

Moreover, he was already accustomed to it.

"It’s not quite blame, it’s just that his actions have hurt those of us who followed him too much. Each one of us who followed him had been with him longer than he has known Aurelia, yet he abandoned us for her."

Junia said this with a flat tone.

Lennox furrowed his brow; the Junia he remembered wasn’t like this.

The Junia of the past, though not necessarily always cheerful, had light in her eyes.

The Junia before him now had a soul that was cold.

A sense of restlessness emerged in Lennox’s heart; why had she become like this?

"Little Junia..."

Lennox couldn’t help but reach out and gently touch Junia’s brow and eyes.

Junia’s body went rigid, and she looked up at Lennox in shock.

Lennox stared at his own hand in a daze and awkwardly placed it on his thigh.

Junia lowered her gaze.

Did Lennox see her as his little sister again?

Sometimes she really hated that he viewed her this way.

Clearly, her feelings for him were not like that.

But she couldn’t say it, because this person’s ambitions didn’t lie in romance.

"Little Junia?" Lennox sensed something was off with Junia, "Are you...?"

The hand Lennox extended toward Junia’s forehead was suddenly grabbed by her wrist.

Junia abruptly lifted her head, her gaze intensely focused on Lennox’s lips, and she pressed down on his lips.

Her feelings for him were never those of a sister toward a brother; she knew he didn’t love her, didn’t like her, and she herself felt her feelings were dirty.

She had tried hard to distance herself from him.

But... but...
