Chapter 107: Chapter 107 You don’t belong here!

Lysander Valmont kneeling in front of Ashton Lane was not something Lamia ever thought he would witness.

Because, damn it all, that was hella shocking.

For a moment, his mind simply stopped working.

This whole situation was becoming harder and harder to process.

He looked at Noah and wondered what his friend was planning to do. Five mates? Was that even possible? Lamia honestly had no idea how things like that worked, and the thought of Noah standing in the middle of five powerful alphas was enough to make anyone nervous.

Four Moonlight Alphas.

And then Lysander.

The Devil’s Son.

It sounded less like a relationship and more like a disaster waiting to happen.

Just as Lamia was trying to sort out his thoughts, something caught his attention.

Rose.

Her lips were moving.

She was chanting.

Immediately, Lamia’s expression darkened.

She was making her move.

He didn’t know what Maria was planning, but he was sure it would bring chaos.

Lamia quietly gathered his magic, preparing himself.

Noah was his first priority.

Always.

And Rose’s original soul had to return to her body. Maria had already caused enough destruction, and Lamia intended to throw that dead bitch out of Rose once and for all.

He was about to stand when Noah suddenly rose to his feet.

The entire assembly turned toward him.

Then Noah spoke.

"I want all five of them."

Silence.

Lamia blinked.

Noah pointed toward the Moonlight Alphas.

Then his finger moved toward Lysander.

"Both the Moonlight Alphas and him."

He pointed directly at the Devil’s Son without the slightest hesitation.

Lamia froze.

His friend had finally cracked.

There was no other explanation.

What did Noah mean he wanted Lysander too?

Did he understand what it meant to be marked by a demon?

Demonic essence was not something ordinary people could withstand. Once a demon marked someone, traces of their power would remain forever. The consequences were unpredictable.

And Noah had chosen this himself?

Lamia wanted to scream.

Before he could react, Damon Ashborn narrowed his eyes and looked toward the kneeling figure.

"Who is he?"

Oliver, who had been called forward, immediately straightened.

"A new transfer student, I think. His name is Bright. I checked his records—"

Damon waved his hand impatiently.

"I don’t care about reports."

His golden eyes sharpened.

"I didn’t know all of you were this incompetent."

The atmosphere instantly turned cold.

"That is not a student."

His voice echoed across the assembly.

"He is under a disguise."

A terrifying pressure spread from Damon.

"It’s a demon, for fuck’s sake."

The next moment, golden threads descended from the sky.

They moved like living chains, wrapping around Lysander’s body before slamming him violently against the ground.

The impact shook the floor.

Lysander staggered.

Lamia suddenly remembered something.

Wait.

Didn’t I trap Lysander inside that circle earlier?

Fuck.

He had completely forgotten.

Lysander was a witch.

Of course ordinary seals wouldn’t keep someone like him contained for long.

Damon stepped forward.

"Demon."

His voice was calm, but the danger hidden within it was unmistakable.

"I don’t think your place is here."

Golden light exploded around his body.

"We do not accept your kind in this school."

The light intensified.

"Nor in our world."

The emperor’s appearance began to change.

His robes transformed into magnificent golden armor, and a mighty sword appeared in his hand.

The weapon radiated power so overwhelming that many students instinctively lowered their heads.

"Mrs. Danielle."

Damon didn’t even look at her.

"From this moment onward, I hereby remove you from your position."

Danielle’s face went pale.

"I can clearly see how worthless you truly are."

The sword descended.

Its target was Lysander.

But before it could strike—

Noah moved.

A transparent shield made of crystal-like glass formed instantly around Lysander.

The sword crashed into it.

The shield trembled but did not break.

Gasps spread throughout the assembly.

Students began standing from their seats, some already preparing to flee.

Mrs. Danielle fell to her knees.

"It’s not what you think, sir! I was trying my best! This—"

She stopped.

A deep growl echoed through the sky.

Everyone looked up.

Dark smoke was rising from four different directions.

The air itself felt heavier.

Damon’s expression darkened.

"I know that smoke."

His voice carried anger.

"Gate essence."

His eyes swept over the school.

"You even allowed the gates to open?"

For the first time since arriving, Damon Ashborn looked truly enraged.

"How could you let this happen?"

The atmosphere became chaotic.

The gates opening meant danger.

Real danger.

Monsters.

Demons.

Unknown creatures.

Everything could come through.

Damon immediately walked toward Noah.

"We are leaving."

His voice allowed no argument.

"Son, let’s get the hell out of here."

He reached for Noah.

But before his hand could touch him, another hand stopped him.

Killian stepped forward.

He grabbed Noah’s arm.

"Not until we complete the mating ceremony."

Damon looked at him in disbelief.

Killian didn’t back down.

"Noah becomes ours first."

The Moonlight Alpha’s eyes remained firm.

"We can’t let him go outside when it’s dangerous."

Then he looked toward Damon and the emperor’s entourage.

"And how do we know that you don’t have evil intentions toward him?"

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Damon looked genuinely shocked.

Had this young alpha forgotten who he was?

Had he forgotten that he was standing before the emperor himself?

Damon’s expression became dangerous.

"Remove your disgusting hands from my son."

His voice thundered.

"And you disgraceful pig."

Killian frowned.

"And disrespectful goat."

Killian’s eye twitched.

"You are not marrying my son."

Damon looked horrified by the thought.

"God forbid."

A laugh echoed through the area.

Lysander.

Despite being thrown to the ground moments ago, he was now standing.

Noah had helped him up.

Lysander glanced at Noah briefly.

He didn’t understand why Noah had protected him.

Nor did he understand what Noah was planning.

But he was enjoying this.

Very much.

Lysander looked toward Damon.

"I think I allowed you too much freedom."

A smile appeared on his face.

"And now you think you stand a chance against me?"

Damon smiled back.

Coldly.

"I may not stand a chance."

He raised the sword.

"But this does."

The weapon burned with holy flames.

Power spread from it in waves.

It was overwhelming.

Even people without abilities could feel it.

Lysander’s smile faded slightly.

He recognized the sword.

Lamia’s jaw dropped.

Again.

He had completely forgotten about Rose.

His eyes remained fixed on the weapon.

No way.

That was the Heavenly Sword.

The most powerful artifact of the purebloods.

The legendary weapon that had once been used to banish Lucifer and his disciples back to Hell.

Rumors said it had been forged from fragments of Heaven itself.

Lamia had always thought that was an exaggeration.

But now?

Feeling the sword’s energy firsthand?

He wasn’t so sure anymore.

Even Lysander seemed wary of it.

The weapon could harm him.

Damon lifted the sword higher.

"You don’t need me to explain what this sword can do."

Golden flames danced along its blade.

"You know what it did to your people."

His voice became colder.

"So tell me."

The sword pointed toward Lysander.

"Will you leave my son alone?"

The pressure in the air increased.

"Or shall I end your life right here?"

Lysander looked at the weapon.

Then he spoke.

"You’re not supposed to wield that sword."

His crimson eyes moved toward Noah.

"It belongs to your son."

Damon followed his gaze.

Then he laughed softly.

"I’m only keeping it for him."

He looked at Noah.

"He isn’t ready to use it yet."

Then he looked back at Lysander.

"So leave."

His voice became firm.

"Return to your world, demon."

Damon raised the sword.

He was about to strike.

Then Lysander moved.

Dark tendrils emerged from behind him like living smoke.

They shot forward with terrifying speed.

Before anyone could react, they wrapped around Damon’s throat.

The emperor staggered backward.

Gasps spread through the crowd.

Lysander’s expression changed completely.

The smile disappeared.

What remained was something darker.

Something ancient.

"You mortals have forgotten your place."

His voice echoed through the assembly.

"And that is irritating."

The tendrils tightened.

"Your arrogance is irritating."

Damon grimaced.

"As emperor, you should know better."

Lysander stepped forward.

"Give the sword to your son."

The pressure increased.

Damon’s face tightened as if his head might split apart.

Students trembled.

Teachers backed away.

The air itself seemed to grow darker.

Lysander’s crimson eyes swept over everyone.

"Now tell me."

His voice was cold.

"Who is truly in charge here?"

Darkness gathered around him.

"Demon or mortal?"

He laughed softly.

"No matter how much you struggle, mortals remain weak."

His gaze returned to Noah.

"And here."

The darkness behind him expanded.

"I will make Noah Evernight mine."

The declaration echoed across the assembly.

"I will claim him."

His eyes burned with possessiveness.

"And there is nothing any of you can do about it."

Note: I sincerely apologized for what happened. Apparently the wrong Chapters keep popping up which it’s meant to be for my other books I am writing.
