"So it’s you."

The person that I had moved behind was surprised to hear me say this, but they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about.

It was just that I already knew that they were planning to do something because of the Astral White Tiger.

The Astral White Tiger was sensitive to things like this, so it was able to pick up something strange coming from this person in front of me.

Of course, it wasn’t as if it would just choose a random strange thing.

The Astral White Tiger made sure that it was something that was related to the Abyss Demons.

In fact, it was something that was similar to the thing that made them invisible.

With the Astral White Tiger’s guidance, I was able to find what it was that was giving off that strange sensation.

"That’s my personal belonging." That person tried to talk his way out of it, but it really was hard when I pulled out the crucial piece of evidence.

Once that thing came out, there was nothing that could be said.

"There really were spies among us."

The other Abyss Guards didn’t hesitate to turn on this person that I caught.

Of course they wouldn’t have hesitated since they would have already had their suspicions.

The ones that were sent here were elites since the Abyss wasn’t an easy thing to deal with. That meant that they would have already noticed that there were strange things happening with the Abyss Guards.

Once he was caught, it seemed like there was nothing left for him to lose.

Only when he tried to do something, I didn’t hesitate to use my trump card as well.

"What is happening? Why can’t I move?"

It didn’t seem like I was doing anything, but there was something that was hidden in my sleeve that took care of this.

Just with that single cry, it was enough to stop this traitor from doing anything.

Other than that, I was able to get some important information out of him.

"What is it that you’re planning?"

...

When the interrogation was over, there wasn’t anyone that was in the mood to care about the traitor anymore.

Once it was confirmed that there was nothing else that he knew, the traitor was put out of his misery.

In the Abyss Guards, there was no place for things like mercy.

After all, what they were defending was the safety of all mankind.

It wasn’t the kind of thing that one could do if they had a soft heart.

Since this traitor was betraying the Abyss Guard, it meant that they were also betraying all of mankind.

As such, they really weren’t deserving of any mercy.

I looked at Yun Tian who had a heavy look on his face and asked, "Are you alright?"

Even before I asked this, I could already guess what his answer would have been.

There was no way that he would have been alright after learning the information that the traitor had for us. After all, the one that had betrayed all of the Abyss Guards was someone that he knew.

Even though they weren’t that close, there was still a connection between them.

"I never thought that he would be capable of doing something like this."

I didn’t say anything when Yun Tian said this since it didn’t feel right to say what I was thinking.

From the beginning, I already had my suspicions about Captain Fang. He was the one that the traitor had named as the leader of their group.

As for whether the traitor was lying or not, I wasn’t worried at all since I had used the power of my Echo Bat. With the Echo Bat’s Echo Hypnosis, it was guaranteed that he was telling the truth since he would be under my domination.

This wasn’t something that only I was able to see, everyone could see the look on the traitor’s face. That was the main reason why they believed the confession that I had gotten out of him.

With this confession, it was easy to tell who the enemy was and we were able to convince them to follow us.

They had only been half convinced before this because they had seen what Yun Tian did with the Abyss Demons. But now they were fully convinced since they had heard the truth behind this matter.

It took a while for Yun Tian to come back to his senses even though he said that it didn’t bother him.

We had been waiting for him to come back to his senses the entire time.

It wasn’t just because he had taken over as the leader, it was also because we needed information from him.

He was the one that was technically closest with Captain Fang, so I needed information from Yun Tian about that Captain Fang.

Without that information, I really didn’t know where to begin.

Well, I had a general idea, but it was different now that we actually knew who we were dealing with.

Yun Tian knew this as well, so he said, "I’m sorry, it really was just too much of a surprise."

All of us nodded to show we understood, but I still said, "Now, what should we do?"

Yun Tian didn’t answer this question right away.

Instead, it looked like he had to think about this before finally saying, "From what I know about him, the best way to handle this is."

I had a few things to say about the suggestions that he made, things that I felt could be changed about the plan that he proposed.

The other Abyss Guards didn’t seem to agree with this since these were considered unconventional things, but it wasn’t the same with Yun Tian. He just looked at me with a look of deep thought before nodding in agreement to these suggestions.

After all, he knew that I had abilities that couldn’t be considered normal.

With those abilities, these suggestions were actually possible.
