"Mama! Where have you been?" Luna asked while firmly in Sunnie’s arms.

Sunnie smiled as she said, "Mama went to handle something important. But I’m back now," she said, patting her by the ears and hair.

"Mama, I picked a lot of fruits for you. I’ve also stored them for you too! Do you want to have them now?" Lune asked.

Sunnie smiled as she patted him by the ears and hair as well as she said, "Is that so? Lune picked fruits for me? That’s so sweet. Don’t worry, I’ll have them when I’m done eating and resting, okay?"

Lune smiled while nodding profusely. "Mmm."

Ronan pulled on Sunnie as he said, "Mum, we’ve been through a lot because of Maren! She isn’t letting us rest at all."

Sunnie smiled as she stared at him, running her hand over his hair. "And what did Maren do now?"

"She made us work hard," Ronan pouted. "Since today, we’ve been gathering ingredients for cooking and also cleaning up things." He stretched out his hand. "See, my hands already hurt so bad!"

Sunnie smiled as she stared at his hand. "Is that so?"

Ronan nodded. "Yes. She’s been making us work since. I’m so happy that you’re back. I’m already tired."

"You’re just lazy," Maren said with both arms folded as she made her way into the cave room.

Sunnie smiled as she looked up at Maren stepping in. Ronan hid close to Sunnie as he stared up at her.

"I don’t want to work. I won’t work again," Ronan said firmly while hiding close to Sunnie.

"You have to learn how to work to survive. Lazy bear. You can’t always be resting and playing all day. It doesn’t work like that," she said firmly. "Look at the little ones, they’re more eager to work than your lazy ass."

Ronan frowned as he shook his head. "No, I don’t want to. Leave me," he said firmly.

Sunnie smiled as Luka shook his head while staring at Ronan. "Your elder sister is right. You have to learn how to work hard to survive. Playing all day won’t do you any good," he said firmly.

Ronan shook his head, pouting. "I still want to play."

Sunnie smiled as she shook her head. "Okay, Maren. Let them rest for today, okay?"

Maren reluctantly nodded as she stared at Sunnie and asked, "How are you doing, Mama? How did it all go?"

Sunnie smiled as she said, "I’m doing fine, don’t worry. It also went well."

Maren stared at her. "Hmm, you look pale and tired. I should get you something healthy to eat."

"Don’t worry, I’m already having this. I’ll rest after it."

Maren sighed. "Is that so?"

Sunnie nodded. "Yes."

"So we’ll be leaving you to rest," Zayn said. "We should go and help the ladies in making preparations."

Eris and Luka raised their eyebrows, shocked while they pointed at themselves. "Huh? Are we included or?"

Zayn stared at him. "Of course you are. So get your ass up and let’s get going," he said firmly.

Luka blinked. "Huh?"

"Let’s go," Zayn said firmly. It was a command as the two of them sighed while they slowly nodded.

"You just encouraged your little one to work hard. So you should also work hard too," Azure smiled.

Luka sighed as he said, "Yes, I’ll be going." He said as he turned at Ronan. "Learn from me." He said as he left with Karl and Eris.

Zayn turned to Maren as he instructed her. He told her that Sunnie needed to rest, so the kids shouldn’t spend too much time with her. They should let her rest after a couple of time.

Maren nodded. "Okay, I’ll do that." And so Zayn and Azure left Sunnie and the kids alone.

Sunnie had spent her time with her little ones. They had a lot to say and discuss.

The two little foxes and Ronan couldn’t stop blabbing about all that happened while Sunnie was away.

They explained every single detail in their silly ways possible—stating how Luna had gotten into a fight with a flying bird, and how Lune had spent his whole day sleeping in a bird’s nest.

Sunnie simply smiled and shook her head while listening to her little ones speak. It brought her joy and comfort to do so.

When they had spent enough time with her, Maren announced it was time to go and continue working and leave Sunnie to get some rest.

"I don’t want to work!" Ronan cried out firmly.

"I want to spend more time with Mama," Luna insisted.

"Me too," Lune agreed.

They weren’t ready to leave at all. But Maren firmly insisted that they had to leave and let Mama rest.

Sunnie smiled as she said to them, "You should go and get work done. We’re having a celebration tonight, so you should go and help out, okay?" She said to her little ones.

"Anyone who works the hardest, I’ll give the biggest share of roasted meat," Sunnie promised. Immediately, their faces lit up with smiles.

"Celebration?" Ronan happily got up. "How come I didn’t know about it?"

"I want meat," Luna said, getting up.

"Me too," Lune agreed. The twins rushed out.

Sunnie smiled as she watched Ronan also make way to leave. "I have to make sure I get the biggest portion."

He left as Sunnie stared at Maren. "You have to bribe the little ones with something to make them more active. Okay?"

Maren smiled as she folded her arms. "Okay, I’ll learn to."

She said as she also left. Sunnie was soon alone. She finished what she was having and later went back to sleep.

That evening, the atmosphere grew bustling with celebration.

Campfires were set up at different spots around the tribe with logs lined up around them. They were seats where people sat around the fire and discussed while roasting their meats.

The tribe was filled with people. They sat around the campfires, talking and eating their roasted meats, which Sunnie had already taught each person how to prepare.

There was a laughter of fun and joy lingering in the air in the spirit of celebration.

Elza was around the kitchen side, sitting around and giving orders on the distribution of edibles around. The women and men under her distributed the meals to the people around.

Handing them bowls of the prepared soup and meal while they ate the grilled meat to compliment it, and also downed it with drinks. There was surely more than enough to eat.

Sunnie was already out. She was sitting around with her little ones, beast husbands, and companions.

Luna and Lune were sitting by her side, both sharing the big meat that was given to them on a plate.

"Let me have some..." Lune said.

"Hot, hot... wait till it gets cold..." Luna cautioned as the two of them sat there tearing the meat piece by piece.

Ronan sat beside Sunnie on the left, happily tearing through the slab of meat he had.

Maren wasn’t sitting around Sunnie. She was with the other ladies. She was drinking some soup with Mii while they discussed fun happenings with the women around her. They laughed from time to time, pleased.

Sunnie’s beast husbands sat around her, watching the little ones eat while smiling and shaking their heads. They also had their own discussions going on.

"Sunnie!"

Sunnie heard someone call from behind—a familiar voice. As she turned, she couldn’t help the smile that spread through her face as she saw Zuna.

Sunnie instantly got up and went to embrace her. The two of them hugged firmly in their reunion. "Oh dear! I can’t remember the last time I saw you. I missed you so much, dear!" Sunnie said.

Zuna hugged her firmly too. "Me too! I missed you so much!"

They moved backward, staring at each other with a smile as Sunnie shook her head. "You look more pretty and healthy. So beautiful! I guess your tribe really did take care of you! So happy!"

Zuna smiled as she nodded. "True indeed! They treated me so well as their queen and princess. So it was a fun place to be in again. All thanks to you."

Sunnie smiled happily, running a hand through her hair. "I’m so happy about that. So happy." She said as she stared at Zukka and Little Black, who was standing behind Zuna.

"She wanted to come so bad, so we went and brought her along," Zukka said as Sunnie smiled with a nod.

Zuna smiled as she placed a hand over her stomach. "And..."

Sunnie stared at her, smiling. "And...?"

"I’m also pregnant for a cub due soon!" Zuna happily expressed.

Sunnie was speechless. Her face and eyes lit up with a smile as she stared at Zuna’s stomach. "Oh dear! That’s such great news! Such beautiful news indeed!"

Zuna smiled. "Yes, indeed."

"I’m so happy for you! But how did it all happen?" Sunnie inquired happily as Zuna took her time to explain it all to her.
