As soon as Cuihua leaped onto the stage, he revealed a quality entirely different from that of Eight Desolates.

Compared to his plump, round body, his Katsuo Stick was long and narrow, with an eerie fish eye. The pairing was, by all accounts, a strange one.

But once he took his stance, his whole demeanor changed.

Cuihua’s Talent with the long staff was second to none, even in the real world. Despite his youth, the moment he grasped his weapon, he carried the air of a master.

Sensing Cuihua’s distinguished presence, Titan licked the corners of his mouth. He was on the verge of falling in love with the Slime before him.

With a sudden clap of his hands, he charged toward Cuihua. Dust flew with every step, his muscles twisting like thick ropes. Amidst an earth-shattering commotion, he lunged, his hands grasping for the round creature.

Facing the assault, Cuihua whipped his Katsuo Stick around. He leaped high into the air and brought the stick down hard on the back of his opponent’s head.

With a sharp CRACK, Titan nearly toppled over. But he instantly recovered, spinning to snatch at Cuihua.

For a moment, the two seemed to be playing a fighting game: Titan attacked, Cuihua countered.

On the surface, Cuihua seemed to have the upper hand, but his expression was exceptionally grim, while Titan’s face was all smiles.

Anyone could see that Cuihua was already at his limit, while Titan was as relaxed as if he were just playing a game, showing no sign of anxiety.

Finally, Cuihua’s stamina ran out. His strike was half a breath too slow, and Titan immediately seized the opening, tearing him to shreds.

Flinging the ooze from his hands, Titan said with satisfaction, "You weren’t as strong as the last one, but you were full of flavor. To use a food analogy, the last guy was a hearty roasted pig, while you were a small but fine honey wine. Praise the Demon King! Allowing me to taste two delicacies in a single day."

Licking his lips, he looked at the remaining Slimes and asked, "Who’s next? I don’t mind if you all come at once. I can handle it."

While he spoke, the wounds on his body began to heal. The fight with Cuihua had left him covered in injuries, but as soon as the duel ended, his wounds vanished completely, leaving him full of vigor once more.

Jinghong flexed her wrists and walked forward.

As soon as the battle began, she threw out her Yo-Yo. She then charged forward, her entire body erupting with Power. Like a burning sun, she lunged at Titan.

Instead of her usual hit-and-run tactics, she chose to erupt in that very instant, unleashing the entirety of her strength against Titan.

Faced with Jinghong’s all-consuming attack, a rapturous smile spread across Titan’s face. "Your flavor is like hot chocolate fresh from the pot—scalding and sweet. Thank you, Lord Demon King!"

A violent impact resounded, plunging the entire arena into flames. By the time the fire subsided, Jinghong had been burned to cinders. Covered in char, Titan exhaled a wisp of steam and sighed contentedly, "My organs are cooked through. So satisfying."

"Madman," Duan Fei said, shaking his head.

"Do you want to have a go?" Titan asked Duan Fei. "You seem especially appetizing. I get the feeling you’d be a pleasant surprise."

"I’ll pass. My job is to observe. What we know so far is that your body recovers automatically after every victory."

"That’s right."

"And for you, fighting is just like eating, isn’t it?"

"That’s right."

"Hmm... In that case, I understand."

"Understand what? Are you finally ready to come up here for a match?"

"No. It’s that I now have a rough idea of what we need to do."

When the others respawned and returned, Duan Fei stopped the eager Shadow God and created a temporary group chat.

In the group, Duan Fei posted his observations, then asked, "Titan is very strong. He’s just been toying with us so far. His true self must be even stronger."

"So what do we do?" asked Eight Desolates.

"Before I answer that, let me ask another question. What are the three most primal human needs?"

"Appetite, sex drive, and the urge to excrete!" Shadow God replied instantly. "I had that for homework."

"Excellent. For Titan, fighting is how he satisfies his appetite. So I think we can start by starving him. Of course, this is just an attempt. Whether it will actually succeed remains to be seen."

After he explained his plan to the others, they all felt it was a viable approach and agreed to it.

With a basic consensus reached, a new round of attempts began.

Duan Fei took the stage first. As soon as the battle started, he quickly removed his Glasses and faced his opponent head-on.

Through Duan Fei’s eyes, it was as if Titan saw Hell itself. Countless wailing spirits, a malevolent wind rising from the Void to scour their souls—a coldness that seeped into the very depths of his being.

But faced with this disturbance from the Void, Titan dispelled its corrosive influence with a single, powerful shout.

Duan Fei knew his opponent wouldn’t be defeated so easily. His goal was something else entirely.

He activated the Spider Suit, summoning a drone. Duan Fei immediately stepped onto it and soared into the sky, flying swiftly into the distance.

"Hahaha, this is my escape route! Come and get me, you idiot!"

Titan simply smiled as he watched Duan Fei depart, then began humming a strange little tune, a mocking look on his face.

Meanwhile, Duan Fei flew higher and higher, farther and farther, until he broke through the clouds. At an altitude of ten thousand meters, he finally saw the true face of this level.

The arena was merely the tip of the iceberg of this world. The entire vast world was held aloft by a far more colossal giant—a giant who looked identical to Titan.

This giant propped up the heavens, the world resting on its shoulders. And it was waving at Duan Fei.

The giant’s eyes were as large as moons, and the world it held seemed as tiny as a toy. This horrifying contrast made Duan Fei shout, "Fuck! How are we supposed to fight that?!"

"This is my true body!" a vast voice boomed, so powerful that Duan Fei nearly disintegrated on the spot. "What you saw was merely my avatar. Strive to find a way to defeat me, little insect. Don’t resort to such despicable methods. A Warrior should fight honorably."

With another furious roar, Duan Fei felt as if he were struck by an otherworldly iron fist. His fragile body shattered, dissolving into a wisp of smoke and disappearing completely.

Emerging from the resurrection point, Duan Fei immediately ran to the Dungeon, re-entered, and arrived at the eighteenth floor. He then said to his long-waiting companions, "This one’s tough. Execute Plan B."

"What is your Plan B?" Titan asked curiously.

"You’ll find out soon enough."

Titan watched Duan Fei, baffled. He had a feeling the little guy was cooking up an even more underhanded scheme.
