Ancient walls replaced the cold gleam of steel, mottled moss telling of the vicissitudes of time. Layer upon layer of painted eaves and ornate architecture that did not belong to this era emerged, completely driving away the cold severity of the surroundings.

When Muen raised his eyes, an area of roughly ten meters around him had already become bright with spring sunlight and breathtakingly beautiful. There was no way to tell that he was currently inside a cold and cruel prison.

"Sure enough, after staying in a gloomy place like this for too long, you really start wanting a little sunlight."

Muen stretched comfortably, then, without the slightest hesitation, stepped forward and walked onto the flower-covered path.

Tap.

The sole of his shoe struck the bluestone pavement with a crisp sound. The green trees planted at the other end of the street swayed, looking through the haze like enchanting dancers.

Other than that, there was nothing unusual.

Those alarm magic arrays personally constructed by the Origin Tower's most elite Grand Mages, arranged layer upon layer and theoretically without any flaws whatsoever, did not trigger even once.

The escape route Huffer had spent months racking his brains over without ever finding simply opened effortlessly before Muen.

If Huffer were here, he would undoubtedly be overwhelmed with grief and indignation again. He had desperately pursued it for months without even managing to lift the outermost veil, while Muen merely gave it a casual tug and easily entered the deepest reaches......

Just like that goddess he'd once desperately pursued and never obtained......

"Who told you not to work hard enough?"

Muen murmured softly. Profound colors flowed through his eyes as the illusion beside him rapidly extended forward with him as its center.

Of course no alarm magic array would be triggered.

Because he was no longer walking through the dangerous corridor of the prison. He was walking through his own Divine Kingdom on Earth.

The phantom of the Divine Kingdom on Earth had merged with the real world, yet it was already completely different from reality, instead thoroughly transforming the area into the territory of a god.

Here, Muen was the true sovereign. Everything within the Divine Kingdom on Earth belonged to him. Forget simply walking through it—even if he started dancing wildly here, he still would not trigger those alarm magic arrays, much less draw the suppression of "Divine Sigh."

The only unfortunate thing......

"The range is still too small."

Muen swept his gaze across his surroundings. Through the edge where light and shadow intertwined, he could still see the cold walls and bars of the prison.

At present, his Divine Kingdom on Earth could only cover an area of a little over ten meters. For someone like him, who could now cross a hundred meters in an instant, that was pitifully small.

That was why he had needed to obtain the relevant intelligence from Huffer. Otherwise, if he had known that cheap senior brother of his was right above his head, he could have simply extended the Divine Kingdom on Earth over there and immediately appeared in front of him. Why would he have needed to go through so much trouble?

"Sigh, the road of growth is long and arduous......"

Muen sighed softly, but his footsteps did not stop.

His path of growth might be difficult, but the road leading to the place where that cheap senior brother of his was imprisoned had become incomparably simple beneath the expansion of the Divine Kingdom on Earth.

Muen soon arrived before the special prison cell.

The moment he reached this place, he immediately sensed that something was different.

A terrifying pressure crushed down from directly above.

Of course, it was not that Muen had already been discovered. Rather, "Divine Sigh," constructed jointly by several Truth-Rank Grand Mages, was so terrifying merely by existing here.

Its pressure was different from the violent force of a mountain or a meteor falling from the heavens. Instead, it was like a waterfall, like the deep sea. A dense, suffocating pressure constantly filled the entire area, bringing with it a sense of suffocation that penetrated from the inside out.

Even the edges of the Divine Kingdom on Earth were slightly distorted beneath the pressure of "Divine Sigh," and the difficulty of maintaining it instantly increased tenfold......This shocked Muen immensely. Even the Divine Kingdom on Earth was being affected, and this was while Divine Sigh had not even been fully activated!

If it were fully activated......he would probably be crushed into meat paste on the spot. At that point, forget the Divine Kingdom on Earth—even if Jesus himself came, he would not be able to save him.

"I still underestimated the Origin Tower."

Muen could not help sucking in a cold breath.

Although he had already prepared himself mentally before coming here, he was still startled by the Origin Tower's foundation. They casually brought out something like this. In this entire world, this was probably the only place capable of doing such a thing.

Judging purely from the sense of oppression, it had already surpassed the Grand Barrier Muen had once faced in Saint Blancfazesiya!

But at the same time, Muen also realized something.

If something this terrifying was required to suppress his cheap senior brother and prevent him from escaping......just how terrifying was that cheap senior brother of his?

"As expected of someone taught by that bastard old loli......I just hope she still has a little conscience in this regard and isn't screwing me over."

Muen worked to steady his state of mind.

Since he had already come this far, there was no way he would retreat so easily. No matter what, he had to go take a look.

Even if he still could not see the full picture of the shadow hanging over the Origin Tower, at the very least......he first had to make contact with the person at the very center of the storm before he could know whether what came next would be knives or salted fish.

"I hope it's a beautiful girl's stockings."

Muen muttered to himself, making a tiny cold joke, then extended the Divine Kingdom on Earth forward again, all the way until it reached the thick wall obviously covered in all kinds of powerful magic.

Good. Still not detected.

The effect of the Divine Kingdom on Earth remained as reliable as ever, which also meant that he would not be crushed into meat paste for the time being. Muen let out a breath of relief and followed the flower-covered path that looked completely out of place with its surroundings until he finally arrived before the specially constructed prison.

Unlike the cells below, this prison was completely sealed, obviously custom-built for the person inside.

Muen looked around for a long time without even finding a lock. It seemed that from the very beginning, whoever had built this place had never intended to leave any possibility for the person inside to come out.

Absolute and complete isolation.

At least for the moment, Muen could not think of any way the person inside could escape.

In the end, at the very center of the entire prison, he found only a tiny window about the size of a palm.

This seemed to be the only passage through which the inside and outside could communicate.

Muen hesitated for a moment, stood on tiptoe, leaned his head toward the little window, then tilted his head and looked into the cell with one eye.

Under the suppression of "Divine Sigh," he did not dare extend his perception, so he could only look with his naked eye.

What entered his vision......was complete darkness.

That was only natural. There was only such a tiny window, and there were no lighting facilities inside. Of course the interior would be incomparably dark.

Muen's heart barely stirred. After everything he had experienced, his mental fortitude had at least become quite strong. There was no way he would be frightened so easily.

Darkness also began to brew within his eyes.

Black Flame vision.

Under Black Flame vision, even pure darkness became clear. Muen looked carefully, and then he saw......

Nothing.

"Hm?"

Muen frowned.

The cell......was empty?

What was going on?

Where was his cheap senior brother?

Could Huffer have given him false information just now? Was that cheap senior brother of his not imprisoned here?

No.

Muen immediately rejected the possibility.

After being tormented like that by him, Huffer should not have had the courage to lie. And judging from the arrangements here, there did not seem to be any other possibility besides this being the place where his cheap senior brother was imprisoned.

In other words, that cheap senior brother of his really was imprisoned here. As for why Muen could not see him now......

Muen swept his gaze across the cell again. Although it appeared completely empty, there were obvious traces showing that someone lived here.

All kinds of daily necessities were scattered messily across the floor, already so damaged that their original forms could barely be recognized, as though they had been torn apart by wild beasts. The walls and floor were covered in dents and pits, and Muen immediately understood part of the source of those sounds he had heard before.

Most importantly, on the walls, the floor, and even the crooked bed, Muen could see strange writing.

The characters appeared to have been scratched out with fingernails. Once the fingernails wore away, bare flesh had apparently been used instead, causing most of the writing to be crimson red. The characters were densely packed together, seemingly repeating the same sentence over and over. Muen's pupils contracted slightly as he carefully made them out......

"Do not believe......"

"Who!"

The writing suddenly disappeared.

In its place was an eye filled with blood vessels, scarlet and bloodshot.

The eye was far too hideous. Caught completely off guard, even Muen was startled, his head instinctively jerking backward to create distance.

"Who!"

That hoarse voice continued demanding:

"Who's outside?"
