[Target: Wang Ya]

[Spiritual Power: 9.4]

[Physique: 8.3]

[Particle Energy: 4.9 Units]

[Wizard Rune: Sixth]

In just one month, Wang Ya’s gains and improvements were immense. After completing his sixth Wizard Rune, his Particle Energy was approaching 5.0 units—the threshold for a Level 1 Wizard Apprentice.

He had attended two classes for each of his five Extraordinary Disciplines, with the exception of Alchemy, as the instructor had taken a temporary leave of absence.

The knowledge he had absorbed from the Witch Books, now guided by the system of Extraordinary Disciplines, had become part of his solid foundation. He could even modify some of his Witchcraft to a certain extent.

Of course, this was limited only to the Witchcraft he had already mastered.

He could now cast all four of his Witchcraft spells within a single second.

The duration of the Energy Flame from his Fear-Burning Fire had reached six seconds.

The maintenance cost for his Fire Elemental Particle Energy Shield had been reduced by about twenty percent, allowing Wang Ya to sustain it for longer in battle.

Wang Ya had also begun researching the Advanced Witchcraft Knowledge in his Inheritance Witch Book.

To his surprise, he had already made some initial progress.

This was Middle-tier Witchcraft, something only Level 2 Wizard Apprentices would typically begin to master... ’This must have a lot to do with the solid foundation I’ve built.’

Otherwise, even if the three Low-tier Witchcraft spells were related to it, the leap in difficulty for the advanced knowledge would have been too great to progress so smoothly.

[Target: Fear of the Flame Demon]

[Level: Middle-tier Witchcraft]

[Details: Fuses the characteristics of three Low-tier Witchcraft spells to form a body of high-energy condensed particle flames around the user. As you walk, everything is turned to char. You become a Flame Demon in the fire, bringing endless fear to your enemies.]

There were two Middle-tier Witchcraft spells in the Inheritance Witch Book. The other was called [Flame Demon Roar].

The difficulty of researching them was extremely high, so Wang Ya had not used the Eye of Truth to analyze them.

Instead, he continued to analyze the Vast Sea Meditation Method.

Powerful Witchcraft was valuable, to be sure, but one needed sufficient Power to cast it.

The Particle Energy consumption of Middle-tier Witchcraft was several times that of Low-tier Witchcraft.

At least, before breaking through to Level 1 Wizard Apprentice, he wouldn’t choose to spend too much time researching Middle-tier Witchcraft Knowledge.

[Notification: Analyzing the seventh Wizard Rune of the Vast Sea Meditation Method. Estimated time: 30 days.]

’One month. Maybe I can even advance to Level 1 Wizard Apprentice before the designated tasks are assigned.’

Wang Ya rubbed his cheeks and walked out of the Ancient Castle. According to the plan he had laid out for himself, the next step was to conduct an Extraordinary Dissection experiment.

After that, he would perform Wizard Surgery on Harak and apply his knowledge from Biological Cultivation Science. Could he truly cultivate Extraordinary Creatures?

Wang Ya was quite interested in finding out.

Most importantly, it might bring some Extraordinary benefits.

ROAR!

It was the roar of a creature defending its territory.

The Mountain Bear got its name because its upper limbs were exceptionally sturdy, its chest was covered in brown fur, and the very ground seemed to tremble when it ran.

Now, upon seeing this frail bipedal creature dare to intrude on its territory, it was instantly enraged. It opened its cavernous maw, baring its fangs, and charged forward, stomping on the ground.

Wang Ya watched all of this with a calm gaze. A hand extended from the sleeve of his black Wizard Robe, and a fluctuation of Particle Energy appeared on his palm.

Witchcraft: [Crimson Heat]!

The next moment, a dull SMACK resounded. The immense Power knocked one of the Mountain Bear’s fangs loose, sending its massive body flying backward. It landed on the ground, dazed and disoriented.

’A test subject should act like one.’

Wang Ya exhaled a breath tinged with noticeable heat. The Witchcraft activated his muscle cells, and the Particle Energy enveloping his right hand provided an additional layer of powerful defense. The Power he had just unleashed in that instant would have had a similar effect even on a moving car.

Harak flapped its wings and flew into the living quarters, immediately causing a commotion. The creatures in the surrounding enclosures shrieked in fear and cowered in corners, refusing to show themselves, clearly intimidated by Harak.

Its sharp claws easily pierced flesh and hooked onto the Mountain Bear’s bones. Following Wang Ya’s command, it dragged the bear, with some difficulty, into the laboratory of the Cultivation room.

Wang Ya observed the condition of the creatures in the living quarters on either side of the corridor. The high-strength metallic glass could withstand the full-force attacks of Low-tier Extraordinary Creatures and could also release a sleep-inducing gas.

The Witch Array Core would automatically replenish the food for the creatures in these living quarters. If supplies ran low, it would notify the owner of the Wizard’s Residence in advance.

Wang Ya didn’t want to wait for the sleep gas to take effect. Sometimes, a physical approach was more convenient.

At the end of the corridor was an automated mechanical door with a sensor.

Sensing authorized access, the door began to part, and Harak flew inside, dragging the Mountain Bear.

The internal structure was somewhat simpler compared to the laboratory in the Ancient Castle, making it unsuitable for more advanced Wizard Experiments.

Of course, the current Wang Ya had not yet reached that level.

It was more than adequate for completing the most basic Extraordinary Dissection experiments.

The experiment table automatically adjusted its length and width to fit the Mountain Bear’s body. High-hardness metal restraints extended from the table, securing the bear’s limbs to prevent any interference with the experiment.

Wang Ya put on a lab coat and a face shield, his cold gaze visible beneath the protective visor.

He held the Wizard Dissection Knife in his right hand, not forgetting to eliminate other influencing factors.

His gaze fell on the Mountain Bear’s throat and its excretory organs—he had experience with this.

The Mountain Bear gradually recovered from its daze. Its beastly eyes met Wang Ya’s eerie gaze, and inexplicably, it felt an unprecedented chill and a profound terror.

"ROAR!"

A roar burst forth. No matter how much it struggled, it couldn’t break free from its restraints. It could only watch helplessly as that detestable bipedal creature walked toward it.

"Quite spirited, aren’t you?" Wang Ya said in surprise. "You’re the first one to be this defiant on my experiment table."

The silvery-white blade in his hand began to extend, reaching the optimal length.

The Mountain Bear was utterly terrified. It began to struggle frantically, howling as its terrible premonition reached its peak.

"I respect every being that sacrifices itself for the truth of Wizardry," Wang Ya said earnestly. "Rest assured, I will not waste your physical body. I will give this my all."

Wang Ya spoke earnestly, ignoring the ear-piercing howls. With a swift fall of the knife, he decisively excised the Mountain Bear’s entire throat.

His blade was so fast that it was over before the Mountain Bear could even register the pain.

However, when he swung the blade to finish by removing the lower body tissues that could affect the experiment, the now-voiceless Mountain Bear’s huge eyes, filled with terror, shed teardrop after teardrop.

Wang Ya was very satisfied. With that, all factors that could interfere with the experiment had been resolved.

[Target: Extraordinary Dissection Experiment]

[Estimated Experiment Time: 1 hour]

[Notification: Experiment beginning. Timer starting.]

Wang Ya had already entered his working State. His eyes were focused, his hands moved swiftly, and the hand holding the knife did not tremble in the slightest.

Starting with the upper part of the thoracic cavity, he completely peeled back the Mountain Bear’s thick chest muscles. He detached the limbs at the joints, easily dismantling the muscle trajectories and even the connections within the bones.

In his previous life, there was the story of Chef Ding butchering an ox. The process Wang Ya was demonstrating now was not much different.
