Chapter 322: Assembly of the Dark Hand, Advancement to Extreme Wizard Apprentice

The young man in the mirror had an unnaturally pale complexion. His features had shifted from their original softness to become more defined, giving him a sharp-browed, bright-eyed look.

His black eyes held a glimmer of light and an enigmatic mystery. A beauty mark at the corner of one eye softened his sharp features, adding a touch of androgynous appeal.

Combined with his profound aura and an ethereal presence that flickered between illusion and reality, he was the very picture of a Dream Wizard.

[Current Spirit Power: 37]

[Dream-Recalling Meditation Method: High-tier Chapter (5/15)]

His Power was not far from that of an Extreme Wizard Apprentice. In the past four years, he had eaten quite a lot of Dream Creatures and the Golden Ant Rice he had cultivated.

About three months had passed since the day he tested the Burning Silence Particle Energy.

Wang Ya had perfected a corresponding special Witchcraft—or rather, a special Witchcraft designed to work in tandem with the Burning Silence Particle Energy.

As for its Level, Wang Ya couldn’t determine it.

He also understood why the Illusory Dream Wizard had said that beyond High-tier Extraordinary Knowledge and High-tier Witchcraft, everything depended on a Wizard’s personal path for validation.

The Witchcraft of an Official Wizard also fell into the High-tier Witchcraft category, but it differed in various aspects due to Sublimation.

It was truly impossible to classify. The release was almost instinctual, like an innate ability, and was similar to the Talent Abilities of Extraordinary Creatures. However, this was an Extraordinary Power that Wizards obtained by researching the unknown, building their foundational knowledge, and continuously strengthening themselves.

In fact, the Burning Silence Witchcraft Wang Ya had created was merely an application that enhanced the Burning Silence Particle Energy.

If he truly had to assign it a Level, it could only be considered within the High-tier category.

The Perfect Balance between illusion and reality—what was perfection?

On the physical plane, he estimated that he had already met the requirements.

The next step was to methodically increase his Extraordinary Spiritual Power, reach the critical threshold of his limit, and seek a breakthrough.

Of course, this was just his own subjective guess; he couldn’t be sure if it was correct.

Just as Wang Ya couldn’t judge his own current Power—he would only know its true extent after a real fight.

Perhaps he could try the two methods the Illusory Dream Wizard had mentioned.

‘Walking the path of Darkness… It seems I’m only one A-rank mission away from being promoted from a Child of the Dark.’

‘As for advancing to an Extreme Wizard Apprentice, I only need three more points, which just requires a certain amount of time to raise.’

Wang Ya was in high spirits. He wondered if he should share this joyous news with Teacher Illusory Dream and Senior Sister Kelan. There was nothing to hide; this was proof of his Ability. If it caught the attention of the Dark Land and earned him greater support—perhaps even a direct method to achieve the Perfect Balance between illusion and reality—then why wouldn’t he?

A sensation in the palm of his hand—a message from headquarters transmitted through his Wizard Mark—made his expression shift.

The trail of a Wizard from the wanted list had been found. It was a Wizard from the Berkeley Clan, accompanied by an Extreme Wizard Apprentice and a number of Level 3 Wizard Apprentices.

The location was, surprisingly, Hanhai Wizard City—a place he was familiar with from previous dealings.

Headquarters was ordering all Wizards of the Dark Hand to assemble.

This time, they were playing for keeps.

‘The Law Enforcement Wizards have failed to produce results for too long, unable to deal with the Wizards from the Berkeley Clan, much less capture Beta Berkeley. The higher-ups at headquarters must have lost their patience. Now that a trail has been found, they’re deploying the Dark Hand directly.’

‘They’re determined to eliminate this hidden threat completely.’

Wang Ya’s eyes flickered. Hanhai Wizard City bordered the Endless Sea. It seemed their target was planning to escape the Dark Land’s pursuit by fleeing into the sea.

It was, indeed, a good plan.

In the vast Endless Sea, even the Dark Land’s reach was limited.

But it also meant the Berkeley Clan would have to bid farewell to the Wizard Continent forever and become wanderers on the sea.

A harsh environment, scarce resources, and a lack of access to inherited Wizard knowledge—their fate would be no different from that of Wandering Wizards.

In fact, it might even be worse.

They must have exposed fluctuations in their Particle Energy while breaking through a blockade, allowing a Sea Wizard among the Official Wizards to lock onto them with Divination Witchcraft.

Regardless, as a member of the Dark Hand, he had to go.
