Given enough law mutation and material evolution, Chaos would likely upgrade to become a fourth-dimensional world.

To the vast majority of life forms in Chaos, this was a terrible disaster that threatened their survival and even risked extinction. But to someone as powerful as the Lord of Chaos, this was actually an unprecedented opportunity.

Vaan was aware that the Lord of Chaos had long reached a bottleneck in his cultivation, unable to progress any further. The same was true for Varuna. That was why he had ventured into the endless nothingness to search for answers.

However, that would also imply that the Edge Sweeper was tracking them through other means. More likely, it was being directed by the strong being who had marked him with the previous passing shadow.

’I need to find a way to get rid of this mark,’ Vaan frowned.

The power behind the hidden mark had already exceeded the level of ordinary Beyond True Divinities, and among the Outerworlders, only the Abyssal Beast King had surpassed the first level of the Beyond True Divinity Realm, being on par with the Lord of Chaos.

’No way... Could I really be marked by the Abyssal Beast King?’ Vaan wondered.

Although he hoped that it wouldn’t be the case, he could already imagine the form of his fated death. Most likely, he will be killed by the Abyssal Beast King.

’They say the heavens never shut all doors. Among a hundred doors, even if ninety-nine doors lead to death, at least one door will lead to life. What can I do to survive this deadly situation if I have been marked by the Abyssal Beast King?’

Vaan deeply frowned in thought.
