Chapter 458: An Excessive Task

Adrian smiled widely. ’Good. Now what I want you to do is to make me an extremely wide funnel, and then the massive funnel needs to go directly into a huge cylindrical pot made of the exact same material.’

[Warning. The combined total weight of the requested product will be over 100 kilograms.]

Adrian clicked his tongue in annoyance. ’Oh yeah, I forgot about that limit. Okay, make me much smaller ones. Feel free to make the walls of the funnels significantly thinner. Make the walls of the pots thinner too, because this is basically just a temporary thing for us to use here. Do that and make it as physically big as it can safely be, but it needs to be inside the threshold of twenty kilograms per piece.’

[Affirmative.]

A second later, two notifications popped up.

Adrian chuckled. "Good job."

He brought them out and tried to take them out of his dungeon, but he was about to walk out of the mud hut when he realized that the massive funnel was so incredibly wide that it could not safely fit through the narrow wooden door.

He sent both of them back into his Dungeon, walked out of the hut, and then he happily brought them out one by one.

He carefully placed them right beside his own bamboo house, and then, he placed multiple setups all over the place wherever there was a free open area, while also making sure not to mess up the walking paths for the tribal people.

The Demon Chief just looked at him in awe.

"You really... I didn’t really believe you when you said that you would ’optimize’ the way your daughter would do things. But now that I am seeing you at work, now it feels a little bit more believable. This is just way too much. You don’t really need that much mana."

Adrian looked a little confused as he heard his words. "What do you mean?"

"You will understand once you actually get your hands on the liquid," the Chief sighed. "You will see exactly how much concentration of pure mana is inside a single drop of it."

"Yeah, I guess," Adrian shrugged.

He walked over to the center of the camp.

He looked at how multiple kids and even adults were bringing over small and big game from the jungle. There were large jungle rats, rabbits, small birds. Some even brought in massive snakes. All of them were just eagerly standing right beside the communal fire, busy preparing the meat to be properly cooked.

Looking at all of this community gathering, Adrian couldn’t help but slowly sit down on a large log where Aria was already happily sitting on.

Aria just got up and happily decided to use his lap as her new dedicated seat.

Claire and Serena also happily joined in, and luckily they just sat down directly beside him instead of climbing on him too.

With both of his gorgeous wives beside him and his cute daughter securely on his lap, Adrian just comfortably looped his arms around Aria and just stared at the dancing flames.

He thought about his own Dungeon and the monster meat.

’I already have the engineered monster cows. And I can potentially make a greatly profitable deal with the Magic Tower once this whole expedition thing is successfully done. So I feel like it would be a genuinely great idea to expand this whole project to other animals too.’

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

’Maybe heavily engineered boars or massive pigs. And along with that, some chicken. And maybe even dive into seafood like lobsters, fish, shrimp, maybe even octopus.’

He frowned.

’Hmm, you know what? I think there is no need for me to make a decision on my own. After all, my logic is strictly based on whatever I remember from Earth. And my knowledge isn’t exactly that incredibly huge.’

He mentally pinged the system.

’System, be a good boy and run me my biological simulations. I need creatures that are similar to the engineered cows in utility, right? What I specifically need is that they need to have a decent amount of edible meat. They should be capable of rapid, quick reproduction and quick biological growth without wasting too many resources.’

He thought for a few seconds before continuing.

’And they need to have a specific part of their body that is entirely separate from the main consumable meat that safely holds most of the corrupted mana and toxins. And it would definitely be much better if they have specific body parts that can be used for other highly profitable purposes. Like, for example, the cow right? Its fur is pretty long, and we can use it for making high-quality clothes. Its hide can be incredibly useful to easily make durable leather. It also has a massive amount of fat for easily rendering cooking fat and stuff.’

’So yeah, those are basically the requirements. Extremely fast reproduction, very easy to prepare edible meat completely without any toxic impurities. Obviously, the meat should also have some pure infused mana inside, exactly just like the cows. And then they need to have other useful byproducts. Run as many simulations as you possibly can, use the extensive Monster Catalog that you have, and basically run multiple genetic simulations for forced mutations and everything. Create a highly optimized list of viable monsters that I can use.’

[Running multiple highly complex genetic simulations will consume a massive amount of accumulated mana. Accurately simulating forced mutations and DNA to its multiple highly intricate details is computationally taxing on my capabilities.]

’Sure,’ Adrian said. ’But exactly how much mana is it realistically going to use?’

[1,000 pure mana crystals is the minimum baseline requirement.]

’Yeah, 1,000 is perfectly fine. Not a big deal at all, so just use it. Even if it takes ten times that, it doesn’t matter much.’
