The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2489: You Came to Country M? When Did That Happen?

The rooms in this hotel are hard to book.

Nathalie Quinlan stayed here last time, but she found it troublesome and didn’t book the hard-to-reserve suite, opting for a regular room instead.

Felix Kingsley quickly handled the check-in procedures for four rooms, and returned with the room cards, distributing them one by one to the four people.

Then he asked the hotel’s waiter to come and carry their luggage for Sadam Vinson and co. while he himself led the way skillfully at the front: "This way, Amadeus, Ms. Quinlan. You are staying on the top floor, their hotel has a dedicated elevator for the top floor, you can use your room card directly with it."

As Felix Kingsley spoke, he demonstrated to Nathalie Quinlan and the others.

"Ding."

The elevator doors opened.

Felix Kingsley let Nathalie Quinlan and Amadeus go in first, then followed them himself.

After everyone was in the elevator, he pressed the button for the top floor.

The elevator ascended quickly.

Soon, they reached the top floor suite of the hotel.

Nathalie Quinlan checked her room card number, adjusted the strap of the single shoulder bag on her shoulder, and said coolly, "I’ll go back to my room first."

"Alright." Amadeus responded, and carefully reminded her: "You just got off the airplane, go and rest first."

Nathalie Quinlan lowered the duckbill cap, responded with a hum, turned around, walked to her room door, and used the card to open it, entering first.

As the girl went inside, the door of suite 6888 closed with a click.

Amadeus watched the girl go inside, then restrained his line of sight and turned slightly to Felix Kingsley saying, "Come in, I have something to ask you."

Sadam Vinson and Alfred Garland knew these were not things they should hear, both sensibly said in unison: "Amadeus, we’ll go back to our rooms and unpack our things."

Sadam Vinson and Alfred Garland each returned to their rooms.

Amadeus used his card to enter his room, placed the card near the hallway, then looked back at Felix Kingsley and said, "Come in."

Nathalie Quinlan returned to her room, put her things down, then took out her phone and walked straight to the window, pulling open the curtains of the floor-to-ceiling window.

She then lowered her head and illuminated her phone, checking if Valencia Jett had replied to her message.

Nicholas Fuller and Orson Saban had both replied to her.

Nicholas Fuller knew some of her alter egos so didn’t say much, only reminded her to be careful and safe.

Orson Saban asked her a few more questions, asking Nathalie Quinlan where she was and roughly when she’d return.

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t reply to him, pulling the messages down with one hand until she finally saw Valencia Jett’s reply in the last column.

[Nathalie, want to meet up?]

Nathalie Quinlan saw the time she sent the message was about half an hour ago, squinted her eyes and replied: [Time and place.]

Valencia Jett hadn’t replied yet.

She wasn’t in a rush, and first called Caleb Dax.

The call connected instantly.

The old man’s voice was as loud as ever, revealing excitement: "Hello, what made you think to call me? Have you finished your business in Inderia?"

"No."

Nathalie Quinlan pressed her brow, extremely headache-inducing.

After investigating Lynette Kingsley’s cause of death for so long, she only found a few clues, still unable to unlock the password on the USB flash drive, and then Khendy Lordon got into trouble.

"Why did you think to call me then?" Caleb Dax said, quite puzzled.

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t hide it from him: "I’m in m country."

...

In Caleb Dax’s pharmaceutical laboratory at the Pharmaceutical Association, the old man stopped what he was doing, surprised, holding his phone and saying with amazement: "You came to m country? When...?"

"Just arrived." The girl’s voice was as clear as ever.

Caleb Dax steadied himself slightly, walked out to the hallway outside, and continued speaking with her: "Why are you in m country? Did something happen?"
