As the thick, lingering fog before him slowly receded, Gu Su blinked. It was only when his fingertips twitched that he realized he had already left his original game area, departing the newbie game world.

He was now standing on the outskirts of a colossal city. As far as his eyes could see, the sheer spectacle of it was staggering.

The city before him was bizarre beyond imagination. From a distance, its entire foundation looked as if the bright white Moon had been sliced clean in half.

Upon that mirror-flat surface, countless buildings of every description stood packed together, forcibly erecting a city of astonishing scale on this strange foundation. The contrast was so striking it became unforgettable at first glance.

Even more astonishing was its architectural style, which was chaotic and disorderly, yet somehow exuded a strange, underlying unity.

The spires of Western Gothic Castles pierced the sky, while Eastern-style pavilions with an ethereal charm were built along its slopes. Metallic skyscrapers with a futuristic, technological feel shimmered with a cold light, and neon tubes in a doomsday-cyberpunk style snaked between them all.

Buildings from different eras and different systems were interwoven, yet there was no sense of dissonance. Instead, this blend formed the city’s unique signature.

Gu Su knew in his heart: this was the place he had once inhabited day and night, Ring Moon.

A super-large Mobile City, rated by the system as Purple Quality and as high as Level 16. In the entire world, Mobile Cities of this Level were as rare as a phoenix’s feather.

The number of players living in this massive Mobile City had long ago surpassed the one hundred million mark.

Admittedly, this enormous population included a large number of Game Workers—players who had a profession in name only, were permanently stuck at Level 1, and could only scrape by on odd jobs. But even so, Ring Moon’s scale and prosperity had reached the pinnacle for a Mobile City.

At least, before Gu Su had crossed over into this Game World, he would never have dared to imagine that such a gigantic and peculiar city could exist.

It wasn’t orderly like a real-world metropolis, but it possessed an inclusiveness and grandeur that far surpassed reality, carrying the lives and dreams of over a hundred million players.

Now, as Gu Su set foot on this familiar land once more, his state of mind was completely different.

This time, he was no longer a Game Worker who had to watch the moods of others just to scrape by. He was now a proper player with room to grow, someone who could unlock Skills and raise his Level. An indescribable sense of pride and anticipation began to quietly blossom in his heart.

Just as Gu Su was basking in the joy of his changed status, the corners of his lips curved upward and his eyes filled with aspiration, a somewhat impatient male voice suddenly called out from a distance, shattering the surrounding peace.

"What are you doing, blocking the way?

Hurry up and move your Mobile City!

Did you just finish binding your Mobile City? Still don’t know what you’re doing?

What style is it?"

The voice rang in his ears like a clap of thunder, jolting Gu Su back to his senses. He instinctively turned to look, only to realize with a start that his Graveyard Demon was blocking the exit channel someone used to log out of the game. No wonder the person was so impatient.

But right now, he was completely lost.

Not only did he have no idea where to drive the Graveyard Demon, but more importantly, he hadn’t the faintest clue how to operate it or get it moving in the first place.

While Gu Su was frozen in place, staring blankly and at a complete loss, the man’s voice sounded again, his impatience even heavier this time. "What are you spacing out for?

I’m asking you, what style is your Mobile City?"

"Ah... Undead!"

Gu Su snapped back to reality and quickly answered, his voice still tinged with a lingering panic.

"Undead, huh?" The man’s voice paused as if he was sizing up the Graveyard Demon. His tone softened slightly.

"Why does your Mobile City have a bit of a Doomsday Wind flavor to it?

Never mind, Undead is fine. Head toward the DT-160 District. Ghost Valley over there happens to have an empty docking spot. Just sit tight and don’t move; I’ll guide you."

The moment he finished speaking, Gu Su saw a flash of dazzling golden light. An invisible but immensely powerful force emanated from behind the Graveyard Demon, steadily pushing it into a dedicated express channel.

Light and shadow streamed past on both sides of the channel, the speed so great that Gu Su couldn’t get a clear look at his surroundings.

After just a few moments, Gu Su keenly sensed a change in the surroundings.

The nearby air suddenly grew frigid. A bone-chilling wind swept past, kicking up fine dust from the ground and coincidentally scattering the Large-leaf Lily Seeds from the branches of the Deceitful Tree on the Graveyard Demon. The white seeds floated in the cold air like countless pieces of Paper Money, instantly making the atmosphere strange and grim, perfectly showcasing the unique character of the Undead style.

About half a minute later, the force pushing the Graveyard Demon gradually dissipated, and it came to a steady stop. Gu Su composed himself and craned his head out to get a clear look at the scene before him.

It was a temporary parking area established specifically for Mobile Cities. As far as the eye could see, Mobile Cities of all sizes and styles were parked in dense, orderly rows throughout the valley.

These Mobile Cities varied in form and quality.

There was a quaint Magic Tower held aloft by a dense green aura, its body covered in mysterious runes.

There was a small castle wreathed in a faint, blood-red mist, giving off a bloodthirsty aura.

There was also a mechanical mobile fortress, covered in rust and seemingly dilapidated, yet still solid, its Metal shell bearing the scars of past battles.

Their sizes varied greatly. The smaller ones were only about seven or eight hundred square meters, like a small manor.

The larger ones, however, were a full ten to twenty thousand square meters, comparable to a small town.

Gu Su scanned the area and got the gist. Judging by the appearance and aura of these Mobile Cities, all the ones docked here were of White Quality, the same as his Graveyard Demon. It made for a very orderly sight.

The moment the Graveyard Demon came to a complete stop, a cold, mechanical voice began to broadcast, echoing slowly throughout Ghost Valley and reaching the ears of every player.

"Please remember the docking location of your Mobile City.

According to Ring Moon City management regulations, every time a player logs out, their Mobile City is entitled to seven days of free docking.

After the free period expires, a docking fee will be charged at a rate of 1,000 Gold Coins per day.

The exit from the valley is located on the west side, where there is a small bus station. A bus departs every two hours for the DT-160 District’s core city, Endless Ghost Wall.

Taxis are also available there at any time, but the price is considerably higher.

Additionally, the city repair depot is located on the east side of the valley, and a small trading market is on the north side. Players with relevant needs may proceed there on their own..."
