As the only person from the entertainment sector to attend Vice Admiral Shaw’s wedding banquet, Chloe Winston became a hot topic.

Due to her frequent appearances with Constantine Stewart, sharp-eyed netizens quickly picked up on her presence. Fans tagged Chloe’s supposed boyfriend, Charles Taylor, only to realize that the couple was rarely seen together.

Previously, many netizens speculated whether the two had broken up. With Chloe attending the wedding banquet without Charles, rumors of their breakup were practically confirmed.

Charles soon posted an update from Singapore, stating that they were doing well.

"Sister, everyone online is saying you and Charles broke up," Kyla Zamora called Chloe, discussing the online rumors.

Chloe suddenly remembered she forgot to bring Charles along. The Shaw family was aware of her relationship with Constantine, and Chloe couldn’t use their wedding banquet for publicity, so she didn’t think of bringing Charles in the first place.

Their contract relationship didn’t stop Constantine, and Chloe was thinking about ending it.

"I know, I’ll call Sister Kyla," Chloe said, calling Kyla to discuss terminating the contract relationship.

"Aren’t you considering Charles?" Kyla lamented. Charles was handsome, came from a good family, and had a good temperament. It was clear to her that Charles liked their little girl, but unfortunately, it was one-sided.

"Sister, we are contract lovers," Chloe laughed. She understood Charles’s feelings but didn’t want to ruin their friendship by discussing it.

"I’ll discuss it with his agent. No, I’ll talk to him directly. I’ll update you on any progress," Kyla agreed.

Usually, such contract relationships are simple once agreed upon by all parties. But since Charles has exited the circle to take over the family business, it’s necessary to talk to him directly.

After Chloe ended the call, she noticed Constantine talking with Richard Shaw, frequently looking her way. The banquet had ended, and most guests had left. Even the elderly lady of the Shaw family felt tired and went to rest.

Only a few young people with great relations with Richard were still around.

Seeing that Chloe had finished her call, Constantine came over and said, "Leah is pregnant, and old Shaw needs to accompany her back to the Shaw house. Let’s go home too."

The man had drunk a bit, his handsome face slightly flushed, and his deep eyes appeared somewhat dreamy, staring at her without hiding. Chloe could faintly smell the alcohol on him.

"Have you been drinking?" she casually found a topic.

"Yes, I’m happy today." Constantine smiled slightly, his smile was unusually clean and bright, like a big boy. Chloe rarely saw this side of him and was momentarily stunned. The man had already held her hand, leading her towards Richard Shaw.

Richard was supporting Leah, with Griffith Squire and Ignatius Leclair still there, along with Alaric Howard and Balthazar Howard. A group of spirited young men gathered, likely the future core power players.

The women didn’t leave either, staying around Leah, primarily from the Howard, Shaw, and Leclair families.

The kids played happily off to the side. The Shaw marriage was low-key and warm, stirring envy in Chloe. She also envied these young noblemen, having bonds from growing up together.

"Are you leaving right after arriving?" Leah was complaining to Griffith Squire.

"We plan to settle in Florence. Aurora is used to the life there, and anyway, you live in the Imperial City. The house in Southeast Asia is empty. Now that my sister is married, I can’t tie you down anymore." Griffith’s words brought tears to Leah’s eyes, even making Vice Admiral Shaw tense up.

Over the years, Griffith valued his sister more than himself, demonstrating a deep sibling bond. Vice Admiral Shaw knowingly shrank back, bearing the sour comments from his brother-in-law.

"I’m not talking to you; I’m speaking with my sister-in-law." Leah turned her attention to the gentle and pure Aurora, taking her hand, and started to talk about Griffith.

On the other side, Delphine finally found a chance to chat with Griffith, which darkened Ignatius Leclair’s expression.

"Let’s go," Chloe said, somewhat envious, as she watched them. Then the man ruffled her hair, laughing softly, "Stop looking, or I’ll get jealous."

He finished, his eyes bright, his tone intimate. Chloe’s ears turned slightly red, feeling strangely thrilled, as he rarely spoke to her like this.

Constantine took Chloe to say goodbye to Richard Shaw, announcing they’d leave early.

Drake Howard saw him with the pretty girl and remembered the previous rumors, teasing, "When’s the wedding? Even old Shaw, who seemed unlikely, has tied the knot. Old Stewart, aren’t you around the same age as old Shaw?"

"I’m one year younger," Constantine pressed his forehead in frustration. Attending weddings has this annoying aspect, always being compared.

"So you’re only a year younger, and old Shaw already has two kids," Augustus Howard remarked.

Due to the Shaw family’s connection, the Howard family naturally included Constantine in their circle.

"Seems you’re the last bachelor left." Counting the close friends remaining, Constantine was indeed the only single one. The Howard brothers watched Chloe, patting old Stewart’s shoulder, reminding him the revolution isn’t over; comrades need to keep striving.

"Stop teasing him. I wouldn’t dare provoke him, lest I inadvertently get outmaneuvered by this lad," Ignatius Leclair grumbled, noticing his wife’s conversation with Griffith lasted too long, looking displeased as he slowly glanced at Constantine.

"It’s just a joke," the Howard brothers feigned to be afraid, amusing everyone present.

"Let’s head back. We’re about to leave too; Leah is exhausted today. I need to take her to rest," Richard Shaw, who broke his usual restraint for a drink today, had a handsome and serious face lit with a deep-seated joy, always mentioning Leah, earning everyone’s eye rolls.

There we go, another wife’s man.

By the time Chloe and Constantine left, it had been half an hour.

"Mr. Stewart, the reporters have all left," Zheng Gu waited at the door and, seeing them come out, dashed up to inform them.

Constantine nodded, gently grasping Chloe’s wrist, saying in a deep voice, "Come home with me."
