Chapter 1095: Chapter 1122: Don’t Even Think About Climbing Higher (3)

The Old Master was getting anxious and said grumpily, "Just say it!"

Koa Jackson glanced at Mia Ginger.

Mia was so nervous because of Koa’s serious demeanor that she gritted her teeth and said directly, "Grandpa, I’m having a baby."

The tense string inside Koa suddenly snapped, and he relaxed all at once. Watching Mia speak with her face flushed, he found it hard to calm his emotions. With his handsome eyes slightly lowered, he suppressed a smile and said, "Yeah, Mia is pregnant."

"..."

The Old Master and Daniella Jackson were stunned, their faces full of surprise, their eyes all falling on Mia Ginger.

Butler Jackson was the first to come to his senses, chuckling and saying, "That’s great news, congratulations to Young Master and Young Mistress, Old Master. Now you can finally put a big worry to rest, and you’ll surely sleep soundly at night."

"Hahahahaha." The Old Master snapped back and laughed continuously, saying repeatedly, "Good, good, this is so good."

After he finished speaking, he could barely contain his joy and said to Butler Jackson, "We must have a good drink this noon, open that bottle of wine Eddie brought back last time. He said it’s strong, let Koa drink and pass out."

Koa Jackson raised his hand, pressing his brow, and said good-naturedly, "I’ll do whatever you say."

The grandfather and grandson chatted away heartily, one bold and one reserved, responding to each other warmly.

Daniella Jackson sat in front of Mia Ginger and asked with a smile, "How long has it been?"

"Doctor said forty-one days."

"It’s been over forty days," Daniella smiled and asked, "Have you had an ultrasound?"

"Yeah, went to the hospital this morning, and the doctor said it’s twins."

"!" Daniella Jackson was stunned again and exclaimed, "Twins! Twins?"

"They said fraternal twins." Mia nodded, glanced at Koa after speaking, and bit her lip.

Koa Jackson was also looking at her, with a smile in his eyes and brows. His fair handsome face turned a little red, even his ears blushed at some unknown point, seemingly embarrassed, looking like a child. No matter how he tried to restrain it, he couldn’t hide his joyful mood.

After the Old Master was done being stunned, he couldn’t stop smiling.

After chatting for a while longer, the Old Master cheerfully asked Mia, "Have you told your mom and dad this news yet?"

"Not yet." Mia was startled and laughed, "I’ll go call my mom."

"Be careful." The Old Master instructed.

Mia nodded, picked up her phone, looked for Aurora Cooper’s number, and stepped aside to call.

Once she left, Daniella Jackson was sent to arrange lunch by the Old Master. Koa Jackson thought for a moment and asked, "Grandpa, is there something you wanted to say?"

"Now that Mia is pregnant, do you have any thoughts about your future?" The Old Master asked directly, "I don’t object to you working in healthcare, but you can’t be just a doctor forever, right? At Fourth Hospital?"

Koa Jackson was silent for a moment.

The Old Master also paused, steadily watching him.

Koa clasped his hands, resting them on his knees, and after a while, he opened up with a faint smile, "I did some rough calculations a few days ago. To build a general hospital, the initial investment is around two billion."

"You don’t have that much under your name?" The Old Master asked hesitantly.

"That’s not a problem for now." Koa smiled faintly, after a slight pause, he said, "But investing in a hospital isn’t a small task. From location selection onward, there are a lot of hassles, and I’ve only just returned home and am busy with work, making it hard to split my focus."

"Short on people?" The Old Master understood.

Koa Jackson silently acknowledged.

After all—

Even though he was a member of the Jackson family, he had been living abroad for years, with study and work taking up most of his time. He was fond of peace, always a calm personality, not the kind of socialite from an affluent family.
