Chapter 1090: Chapter 1117: I’m Pregnant (5)

"Hehe." Mia Ginger looked at him and giggled.

Koa Jackson: "..."

What’s going on with this girl again all of a sudden?

He examined Mia Ginger carefully, saw her smiling with her lips curved, and just ignored it, focusing on driving.

Mia Ginger looked at his profile and then withdrew her gaze.

This wasn’t the right moment to mention the pregnancy. Koa is driving, it’s better not to distract him. She decided to wait until they got home, so she held back and didn’t say anything, then soon fell asleep again.

Halfway there, Koa Jackson noticed, found a place to stop the car, lowered her seat a bit, and then continued driving.

Mia Ginger was deeply asleep and didn’t wake up until they got home.

Koa Jackson parked the car, walked around to the front, and patted her face, "Hey, girl."

He softly called out a few times, and Mia Ginger slowly woke up, looked at him, and asked, "Are we there yet?"

"We’re here." Koa Jackson helped her undo the seatbelt, slipped one hand under her to hold her up, and gently asked, "Didn’t you say you weren’t tired? You fell asleep in the car."

"Sitting and sitting, I got tired," Mia Ginger pouted and stretched her legs out of the car door, demanding, "Carry me."

Koa Jackson was stunned, "Don’t be ridiculous."

"I don’t care," Mia Ginger wrapped her arms around his neck and wouldn’t let go, "I don’t want to walk. Can you carry me inside, pretty please, Brother Jackson..." Her voice turned soft and endearing, and Koa Jackson’s heart melted.

He bent down and kissed Mia Ginger’s forehead, brushing her cheek and coaxing, "You’re all grown up, aren’t you embarrassed if others see this?"

"It’s just Aunt Lee and Uncle Lewis, there’s no one else."

"..."

Koa Jackson gave in and bent over to pick up the little darling who was acting all cute, then carried her into the house.

Just after six, it was dinner time.

Aunt Lee knew they would be back on time, so she had just finished making dinner when she heard footsteps. Looking up, she saw Koa Jackson settling Mia Ginger onto a chair and smiled as she turned back to finish preparing the meal.

This young couple was so affectionate, as if they were always in honey. Over time, she felt that Young Master Jackson was no longer the guy he used to be.

He used to be cold as ice, but now he was gentle as jade.

She didn’t know how he was outside, but at home, especially when he was with Mia Ginger, he was as good as he could be, with that smile always in his bright eyes.

Mia Ginger was satisfied being set on the chair and got up on her own to help Aunt Lee with dinner.

Koa Jackson washed his hands and joined her, and they started eating together.

Mia Ginger sipped on porridge, but halfway through, she felt uncomfortable and tried not to make a sound, then turned to Koa Jackson and said, "I want some cucumber."

Koa Jackson: "..."

If you want it, grab it yourself. Is she hinting that he should feed her?

Mia Ginger quickly confirmed his thought by smiling with her eyes, "You feed me."

Koa Jackson looked at her helplessly, picked up a piece of cucumber and brought it to her mouth, and Mia Ginger opened her mouth and bit onto his chopsticks.

Koa Jackson couldn’t pull it out for a moment, and there they were, stuck, leaving him at a loss whether to cry or laugh, "What’s up today? Being so clingy? Could it be you have some good news to share?"

"Hmm." Mia Ginger let go of his chopsticks, smiled, and said, "You guessed right."

"Oh?" Koa Jackson’s voice deepened, intrigued.

Mia Ginger shrugged and smiled, "I think I’ll probably get promoted in less than three months. Today our team leader said Camden River..."

She was speaking when her expression suddenly changed.

Koa Jackson was startled and asked, "What about Camden River?"
