Chapter 1061: Chapter 1088: Having a Child (6)

The room was extremely quiet. Mia Ginger tilted her head and looked at him, the smooth and captivating melody floating to her ears.

It carried a sweetness entwined with tenderness, mixed with a faint sadness, yet it provided a profound peace of mind, ultimately immersing one in long-lasting emotion.

Suddenly, she recalled what a fellow student studying abroad with her had said, that "Canon" expresses eternal love, just like in the "Classic of Poetry," holding hands and growing old together.

It was her first time experiencing the emotions conveyed through music.

Mia Ginger gazed blankly at his focused profile, feeling utterly enchanted and intoxicated.

She had liked him since she was a child.

All those years of longing day and night, she never imagined that one day this man would deign to play the piano for her.

But actually, he not only played the piano for her but also taught her to dance, trained her to jog in the morning, ...

Just thinking about it made her spine tingle, those lingering melodies seemed to climb her back, as she looked at Koa Jackson, feeling a bit unsteady.

The happiness was so overwhelming she felt like she might faint, that was precisely her state at this moment.

As Koa Jackson finished playing, he saw her infatuated eyes, froze for a moment, then smiled and asked, "What’s wrong?"

"Come here," Mia Ginger murmured.

Koa Jackson was slightly taken aback, but he smiled, got up, and sat beside her.

Mia Ginger eagerly cupped his face with both hands, not waiting for him to ask further, she wrapped her arms tightly around his waist, stood up and snuggled into his embrace.

Koa Jackson never expected her sudden enthusiasm. He tightened his grip around her waist with one hand and placed the other on the back of her head, touching her forehead with his, and gently asked, "What’s going on?"

Mia Ginger softly sought his lips again.

Koa Jackson covered her mouth with the palm of his hand, saying, "Aren’t you already hungry? Let’s go back and..."

"I can’t wait anymore."

"Be good."

"Brother Jackson." Mia Ginger’s hands slipped under his shirt collar, softly pleading, "Let’s have a child, shall we? Right here, at 271 meters high, it would be so memorable."

Koa Jackson, a bit helpless under her coaxing, gently persuaded, "Be good, let’s eat first."

"No, no." Mia Ginger became a little irritated, pried his hand away from her lips, and without a care pressed forward to kiss him, climbing onto him, her legs quickly wrapped tightly around his waist, forcing him into a corner.

"You really are..."

Koa Jackson looked down at her, those three words spilling out, full of love and frustration, utterly helpless against her.

Mia Ginger’s cheeks were deeply flushed, her almond eyes shimmering with tears, also red, looking at him like a pitiable little rabbit.

Koa Jackson whispered, "I’ll go lock the door."

Mia Ginger pursed her lips and murmured, as he picked her up, they reached the door, locked it, and Koa Jackson conveniently turned off the lights, leaving the room in darkness.

Inside, it was dark, yet outside, it was bright.

With a downward glance, the night view of Cloud Capital City unfolded before the eyes, changing with the rotation of the restaurant. Looking up, stars adorned the night sky, splendidly twinkling.

The two fell onto the sofa, luckily it was soft and spacious enough.

The temperature in the air continued to rise.

"Knock, knock, knock." No one knew how long it had been when suddenly two rhythmic knocks came from outside the door, and the waiter’s sweet and polite voice sounded, "Your fruit platter."

Both of them froze in unison.
