The Trash Ger Reborn: With A Mystical Space, I'll Rule The World!
Chapter 109: THE NINE HEAVENS SCORCHING SUN BLADE(1)
Xiaoxiao took Li Yan to another section of the mythical space. Unlike the shelves of manuals he had just been searching through, this area was an alchemy room with a huge pill cauldron placed in the middle. Shelves covered the walls, and every shelf was filled with bottles, boxes, herbs, minerals, and other materials that Li Yan could not immediately identify.
"Every ingredient you can imagine is here," Xiaoxiao told him.
Li Yan stared at the shelves for a moment before turning his attention to the materials he needed. With so many things stored inside the space, he could not help feeling that he had been wasting an enormous advantage by not exploring it properly.
He searched according to the instructions in the manual until he found the materials required to improve the sweater Li Hanye had given him. Among them was a single dragon scale, which surprised him because the manual had described dragon scales as extremely rare materials. Li Yan picked it up carefully and examined its surface, wondering how something so valuable had been left here with only one remaining.
"This is the last one," Xiaoxiao said. "Whatever you take from the space has to be replaced. You cannot keep taking things without putting anything back."
Li Yan understood what she meant. The mythical space might contain more resources than he could imagine, but that did not mean they were unlimited. If everyone entered the space and took whatever they wanted without adding anything in return, even a place this large would eventually run out of resources. He had no intention of treating it like a warehouse that existed only for his convenience.
"I understand. If I take something, I will replace it with something of equal value or add something better when I can."
Xiaoxiao nodded in agreement. "You should remember that. This space is meant to grow with you, not become an endless storage room that you empty without replenishing."
Li Yan looked at the dragon scale again and considered what he could accomplish with it. Since there was only one left, he had to use it carefully, but he realized that he could make enough material for his own sweater and another one for Li Hanye. His brother had given him the sweater to protect him during the mission, so returning the favor seemed reasonable.
Li Yan followed the instructions from the manual carefully, reading each step again before beginning so that he would not make a mistake simply because he was eager to finish. He first prepared the acid required for the process and melted it according to the stated method. Once the liquid reached the right state, he added spiritual Qi before using his fire attribute to combine the materials.
The process required more control than he had expected, so Li Yan kept his attention on every change instead of allowing himself to become distracted. He knew one mistake could ruin the material he had just found, which made him even more careful as he adjusted the amount of spiritual Qi and continued until everything had combined properly.
Once the materials had combined, he laid the sweater across the worktable and poured the prepared liquid over it generously. The fabric began changing almost immediately, loosening until the entire garment reverted to threads that spread across the table.
Li Yan was not alarmed by the change because the manual had already explained that the original material would be broken down before it could be reforged into something stronger. He gathered the threads carefully and continued with the next step instead of assuming that the process had failed.
Since he knew how to sew, restoring the sweater was not difficult for him. Life in the Li Household had taught him how to mend his own garments so a needle and thread was nothing new to him.
Li Yan carefully stitched the treated threads back together, making sure the new material remained evenly distributed throughout the garment. After finishing the first sweater, he repeated the process and prepared another one for Li Hanye.
When both sweaters were complete, he placed them beside each other and left them to dry. He checked the stitching once more before stepping away, satisfied that neither garment had been damaged during the process, then cleaned the work area and returned the remaining materials to their proper places.
After finishing with the clothing, Li Yan remembered that he still needed a weapon. He followed Xiaoxiao into the weapon room and found it much more compact than he had imagined. There were only twelve weapons inside, and each one was a Dharma-level weapon.
Li Yan looked around the room and counted them carefully. There were two swords, two spears, one scythe, three bows, two sabers, one staff, and one whip. He had expected a mythical space with countless treasures to contain a much larger collection, but Xiaoxiao had never said that the weapon room held an endless number of weapons.
His attention eventually settled on a sword lying on the ground. Unlike the other weapons, it did not appear to have been deliberately displayed. It was simply there, as though someone had placed it down and never bothered to pick it up again.
At first glance, there was nothing remarkable about it. Its appearance was rough, and unlike the other weapons, it seemed as though nobody had bothered to take care of it. It looked almost as if it had been discarded and forgotten in that corner, yet Li Yan found himself strangely drawn toward it.
For some reason, Li Yan could not stop looking at the sword. There was something about it that reminded him of himself. It had been left aside and ignored, yet that did not mean it had no value. Perhaps, like him, it only needed someone to recognize what it could become.
Li Yan walked over and reached down to pick it up. The moment his hand closed around the sword, it began to vibrate in his grip, and he immediately looked down at it to see what had caused the sudden movement. Before he could understand what was happening, the rough exterior began to change, and a blinding light burst from the sword, forcing him to raise his other hand to cover his eyes.
The light continued to shine around him until a voice finally sounded from the sword.
"Are you the one who woke me up from my slumber?"
