It was already past the dinner rush, but the Grand Golden Pavilion Hotel still had quite a few people.

When they arrived, they saw a flock of beautiful women—about ten of them standing there.

Every single one of them had long legs and a tall, slender figure.

Li Yang was fine, being quite tall himself, but Mr. Liang looked like a dwarf standing among them.

"Come, come, everyone have a seat..." Mr. Liang’s eyes were practically glowing. "Order whatever you want. Don’t be polite with me, it’s my treat today."

The others all nodded.

"Come, come, let’s order..." Mr. Liang began to order the food, acting incredibly attentive.

"Who’s this?" many of the girls couldn’t help but ask after seeing Li Yang.

"He’s a veterinarian..." Mr. Liang chuckled. "He’s the one who checked on the copper coins for Qiu Yi. I heard he’d never eaten here before, so I brought him along to try it."

Just like that, he made himself sound incredibly magnanimous.

Li Yang just laughed.

"He’s pretty handsome..." The women, however, grew interested. They turned to Li Yang and asked, "How old are you, little brother? Do you have a girlfriend?" 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

In truth, the women were just teasing him because they saw he wasn’t very old and was quite handsome.

"I’m not so ’little’, big sisters," Li Yang said with a completely straight face.

They froze for a second, then burst out laughing.

’He’s actually pretty fun! To think he’d make a joke like that.’

Mr. Liang started to feel a bit uncomfortable. ’What is this? I’m supposed to be the main character here, but this little farmer is stealing my thunder.’

"What’s the big idea..." Mr. Liang said irritably. "How ’big’ could you be? You better behave, or I’ll have you thrown out. If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t even be qualified to set foot in a place like this."

Li Yang furrowed his brow. ’So you’re really picking a fight with me, huh? You think you’re hot stuff.’

Li Yang said faintly, "As if eating a meal here is some big deal... I’ll eat if I want to, and I won’t if I don’t. It’s not like I’m eating at your house."

"Do you have any concept of gratitude?!" Mr. Liang slammed the table. "I bring you here for a meal, and this is the attitude I get? Everyone, look! It’s not that I won’t let him eat. He’s the one being rude. Get the hell out, now!"

Li Yang stood up and said irritably, "Look at you, thinking you’re all high and mighty. Waiter...!"

Li Yang called out loudly.

A server quickly came in.

"Him..." Li Yang pointed at Mr. Liang. "He isn’t qualified to eat the food here. Blacklist him from now on."

"That’s hilarious..." Mr. Liang was stunned for a moment, then he roared with laughter. "Who do you think you are? You’re going to blacklist me?"

The server said seriously, "I’ll report this to Manager Han. Actually, I’ll just have Manager Han come over."

Before long, Han Qiuyue arrived.

"Sir..." Han Qiuyue’s expression soured a little after hearing what Li Yang said. "How about this: our dishes for today are all sold out. We don’t have anything left. I’m very sorry."

Han Qiuyue was quite tactful. She didn’t tell them to leave, just that the food had run out, leaving them with no recourse.

Mr. Liang was stunned. He couldn’t believe it.

Li Yang shrugged. "Forgot to tell you. I’m the one who supplies the food here. Get it now?"

Only then did it dawn on Mr. Liang. "Fine! You just wait! You just wait..."

Muttering and cursing, Mr. Liang left.

Qiu Yi and the other women looked completely shocked.

"So we can’t eat after all..." one of the young women immediately said, sounding a little disappointed.

"Sister Han, you can serve the food now. Bring us all your specialties!" Li Yang said with a smile.

"Of course!" Han Qiuyue smiled faintly.

"So you were tricking him!" Qiu Yi realized.

"He’s not qualified to eat my food!" Li Yang chuckled, speaking very calmly. "A person like that isn’t worthy."

The other women were already seeing stars in their eyes.

They had seen plenty of men, but truly not many were like Li Yang.

Qiu Yi felt a little ashamed. When Li Yang had spoken up earlier, she had privately scorned him a bit, even looked down on him. She never expected that he actually had the power to back it up.

"Alright, alright..." Qiu Yi couldn’t listen anymore and cut them off irritably. "Stop flirting shamelessly right here."

The others burst into laughter.

Li Yang felt a bit regretful. It was clear these women were very open-minded.

"We’re models!" Qiu Yi said, a hint of pride in her voice.

Li Yang was taken aback for a second, but then he immediately understood.

’That explains it. No wonder they all have such amazing figures. So they’re models.’
